Chapter 86: Chapter 86

All the female students turned their attention to the three boys walking in the school hallway.

With pale skin, red lips, thick brows, rounded eyes, sharp jaws, and broad shoulders, Chaylen got the vampire look that made the girls drool.

Slim but tall, petite, rounded face, sharp but drowsy two-lid eyes, pointed nose, heart shape lips, and clear round glasses; Kyle has an innocent image of an intelligent and handsome nerd.

In the middle of them is Vincent. He has cat-like eyes and lips, a well-proportioned face, and a sexy Adam's apple that goes up and down every time he gulps. He is the type of man who does not smile. So, while girls are looking at him, they fantasize about seeing that freaking sexy smile on his lips.

This was the first time they were seen walking together.

Thanks to Slyvester.

Since they share the same plan and goal, the anti- Slyvester faction was formed, so they meet often.

"Hey Vincent, how did you know that Slyvester entered Ryan’s room?" Chaylen asked.

"When I was about to go up the stairs, my eyes caught Slyvester’s feet," Vincent answered.

"Feet? Wow. You beat Mister Kyle," commented Chaylen. Kyle immediately looked at him.

"I?" Kyle pointed to himself.

Chaylen shook his head while chuckling. "Another Kyle. The Kyle on the discovery channel who was known for his sharp eyes.”

"Ahhh, the Actor Kyle?"

Chaylen pointed at Kyle while complaining to Vincent, "Sometimes, he acts like an idiot, right?”

"Yes. In your case, you are ALWAYS stupid," Vincent responded.

Chaylen just laughed at him because he was used to it. "So, you immediately took the key to open the door?"

"Hmmm," Vincent mumbled.

"Good thing you thought of that," Kyle sighed. "If you did not, we’re all dead.”

Why would it be?

Kyle’s words have two meanings. First, they will die of jealousy. Second, when Ryan’s parents find out that something happened to Ryan and Slyvester inside the boarding house, they will hold accountable.

"If I were Slyvester, I would just book the hotel," Chaylen added.

The two stopped walking and then looked at Chaylen with eyes that said: ‘I can kill you right now.’

Chaylen laughed at their reaction. "Good thing I'm not Slyvester. So relax, guys."

"Don't you tell that to Slyvester. He might have an idea," Kyle warned Chaylen.

Chaylen nodded, then Vincent opened his lips, " Ryan won't go with him if he stays at the hotel."

"I believe in that," Chaylen agreed. He raised his hand near Vincent before offering a “high-five!”

Vincent raised his hand and almost made contact. Fortunately, he was able to stop himself. "Why would I associate with an idiot like you?" Vincent asked himself. He immediately lowered his hand.

"Aye, you've fallen for me too, haven't you? You don't want to admit it. That's called denial," teased Chaylen. Kyle just shook his head to the side.

And the three started walking again.

"But how is Terban? He hasn't been home for a few days," Kyle worried.

Vincent stopped walking while staring straight ahead. Kyle and Chaylen stopped too. "Why don't you ask him yourself?" Vincent looked at the man, who also stopped when he saw them. It was Terban.

"Oh? The devil appears!" Chaylen gasped.

" Terban," Kyle smiled at Terban.

If Terban was normal now, he might have told the three: ‘What are you looking at?’

But that didn't happen. He just remained silent. Terban bowed and walked forward. But before he could completely pass, Vincent talked to him.

"What happened? Have you fainted somewhere?"

Terban stopped.

The three looked back at him one by one.

"Are you afraid to face the truth?" Vincent chuckled at the apparent fact.

They know that of the four of them, Terban will never accept Ryan’s decision. Terban waited for Ryan for years!

"Dude," Chaylen called. "The rooftop is open for you. Beer is on me."

Kyle wanted to stop Vincent and Chaylen from teasing Terban, but he couldn't do anything. He just stared at Terban and Terban’s clenched hands.

“The membership for those whom Ryan rejected is free. Sign up now~” joked Chaylen. "The president of the club will give you a kiss."

"Who is the President?" Kyle asked out of curiosity.

"Who else? It's Vincent."

Vincent’s smile disappeared. He stared emotionlessly at the person beside him, which Chaylen wholeheartedly enjoyed.

"You didn't know you were the President? Surprise!" Chaylen provoked Vincent.

As Vincent was about to grab Chaylen’s collar, Kyle prevented it. He quickly separated the two. They have just reconciled. But Vincent's patience for Chaylen was too short.

"Stop fighting, okay? I’ll be the President," said Kyle, who was so tired.

As the three friends exchanged complaints, Terban silently walked away. Chaylen, Vincent, and Kyle watched him go, feeling a mix of amusement and concern.

Despite their playful teasing, they had all grown close during their time living together. Though they might not admit it, they each cared for Terban and worried about him. Their dynamic was like that of a dog, cat, and mouse - different but ultimately united.

Slyvester and Ryan were eating lunch in the cafeteria.

Albeit the noise around, they noticed the strange silence between them. Slyvester, who wanted to make the mood jolly, spoke.

"What did your parents say earlier?"

Ryan put down her spoon and exchanged gazes with her boyfriend.

"They said they needed to talk to me about something important. I have no idea, and I am scared.”

Slyvester nodded. Then he took a sip of his cider.

"What about you? Why did you suddenly yell at your dad earlier?"

Slyvester chewed the straw and played with the grain of rice on the table. He doesn't want to get dirty, but sometimes, he does childish things.

"It's nothing much,” he said. “But I'll also go see him later. We'll talk about something too," Slyvester said, then let out a small beam. "Looks like we won't be together after school." Slyvester held Ryan’s hand with the hand he used to play with the sticky rice.

Ryan felt the sticky thing in her hand, but he ignored it at first. "It's okay. We'll see each other when we get home."

Slyvester now smiled sweetly.

"Anyway, why is your hand sticky?" Ryan asked.

"I picked out my booger earlier," Slyvester lied.

"Hey!" Ryan shouted as she pushed his hands away.

Not only Ryan, but even the innocent students who were eating around and overheard Sylvester's disgusting jokes were shocked and glared at him for his inappropriate behaviour in the cafeteria.
