Chapter 75: Chapter 75
“What? You rejected Chaylen and Kyle?” Emily asked Ryan in a voice that seemed to shout, but not.
The cafeteria was packed, so Emily was sure no one would hear them. Even so, Ryan covered Emily’s mouth and said, “Lower your voice!”
Emily removed Ryan’s hand away from her mouth and said, “No one will us.” She leaned closer and inquired for more details. “How did you reject them?”
“The process isn’t important.”
“Still, you’re so brave. If I were you, it would be hard for me to let go of even one person. They are all handsome and rich.”
Ryan had a hard time in the beginning either. But when she realized she likes Slyvester, her resolution to fix everything became solid. It isn’t finished though.
“So, there’s two more, right?” Emily asked before she took a sip of her soda.
Right. And one more thing, Ryan felt so confused about her feelings for Terban.
“Terban kissed my forehead that night of the festival,” Ryan shared.
“What?!” Emily coughed out her drink. “T-Then what did you say?”
“It was confusing for me. I know that I like Slyvester. But I could not stop thinking Terban. Am I that bad?”
“I don’t think so,” Emily said, tilting her head. “You came to this school for Terban. Which means, he’s still special to you. Maybe, the reason why you could not confess to Slyvester is because of your childhood friend.”
Maybe it was really the case. Ryan could not tell Slyvester her feelings because she’s feeling guilty over Terban.
“What should I do?” Ryan asked herself with a sigh.
Emily answered while looking at the split ends of her hair, “If I am Snowwhite’s stepmother or that fatty octopus named Ursula, then I suggest you to date both of them. But since I am trying to be as kind as Belle, then why don’t you focus on the other guy first?”
“Other guy?”
“Yes. Vincent. You haven’t dumped him yet. Do it first and worry later.”
It sounds easy at first. Ryan thought it was. But little did she know, Vincent was a huge tsunami. He’ll be hard to deal with.
“Wait a minute. I need to use the toilet first,” Emily excused. She stood up and turned around.
Behind Emily, Ryan saw a woman who was so into her phone, she failed to see Emily. And as a result, Emily accidentally bumped into that woman. The food on the tray spilled all over the woman’s clothes.
Loud sounds gathered everyone’s attention inside the cafeteria.
“Omg! Sorry! I did not mean it,” Emily apologized.
The lady’s face crumpled as she glared at Emily. “What the f*ck is wrong with you?”
“I am sorry, Miss,” Emily apologized sincerely. “If it is okay with you, I can lend you my other shirt? Or should I buy you a new one?”
She rolled her eyes and pointed Emily’s shirt with printed words “I love EXO.” And then she asked, “And you expect me to wear that sh*t?”
What? Sh*t?
Did she just call Emily’s favorite Kpop’s merchandise a sh*t?
Like magma in a volcano, Emily’s patience reached its peak.
“Hey, you piece of sh*t,” Emily said, which made Ryan stand up from her seat. “We were both at fault here. I was in the corner when I stood up before. If only you looked forward, then we wouldn’t bump into each other.” She brushed her bangs and continued, “I can accept your sh*tty attitude, but if you will insult my fangirling, then I’ll rather have a fist fight with you.”
This is what Ryan wanted to avoid.
“Excuse me?” the lady asked, caressing her big chest as if she was dumbfounded.
“ExCuSe Me?” Emily mimicked her. “Don’t ‘excuse me’ while boasting your huge balls. I also have those!”
People laughed.
"You stupid b*tch!" the lady shouted.
Quickly, Ryan went in between.
“Wait a minute!” She looked at the two tigers glaring at each other as if soon, they would release their claws. “Miss, I will buy you a new shirt. Let’s stop this, okay? We both don’t want to end up in the guidance office.”
Ryan has an allergy to the guidance office ever since Kyle got into a fight.
“Then, tell your UGLY FRIEND to apologize sincerely,” the lady answered.
Ryan scowled. She loves calling Emily “ugly”, but she couldn’t bear hearing it from other people.
“SHE APOLOGIZED TO YOU BEFORE,” Ryan said, gritting her teeth. “She said “sorry” twice, but what did you do? You acted like a b*tch when it was actually your fault!”
And the situation got worse. Felling humiliated, the girl grabbed the unfinished Soda from the side and she threw it to Emily and Ryan.
“You sh*t!”
Ryan and Emily closed their eyes, thinking they’d end up wet. Seconds later, nothing happened. They opened their eyes in unison and saw a man in knight in shining armor.
Vincent.
“Omg!” the girl gasped, covering her mouth. Instead of throwing the soda to Ryan, Vincent received the blow!
The liquid dropped pitter-patter from Vincent’s chin.
“I always believe in law of equivalent,” Vincent said. He wiped her face with the back of his hand, while the other grabbed Ryan’s Soda.
Then, he stood next to the woman and slowly poured the soda onto her head.
“Ahhhh!”
The woman shrieked as she felt the cold drink running down from her head. Like a fish, she gaped. Her mouth opened and closed several times as she looked up.
Vincent smirked, while everyone gasped at his bold and impulsive action.
After emptying the can, Vincent leaned closer and whispered in her ear.
"Shut your lips or else you’ll be forced to leave this university. Don’t test me. I have ways to track you down.”
The girl shivered. It wasn’t a fluke warning. Vincent’s image in the school was mysterious, but everyone said his family was well-off.
And if he says that he has ways to track her down, his evil expression will tell the whole story.
HE WAS CAPABLE OF IT.
“Do you understand?” Vincent asked.
When the lady nodded her head, Vincent grabbed Ryan’s hand and pulled her out of the cafeteria.
