It was finally Thursday the day I've waited so long for I waited less than 24 hours for this day and now that the day was here I was terrified.
I figured maybe it was too soon I mean it's only been 2 months since I got to know her soo maybe its too soon but after dinner last night I called one of my cousin Breeya and she said tomorrow would be perfect she even helped me in composing the poem finding the perfect words that would rhyme and fit well with it so I had to do it today and only today.
I figured since I was going to ask her out I decided I might as well look nice so I woke up as early as 5:30am on Thursday morning and went straight into my walking in bathroom to do my business once I was done I decide to go through my clothes to find what was suitable to wear. While I was at it my mom walked in on me still in my bathing robe and my clothes scattered everywhere and then she complained asking me what was going on
"What's the matter bat cake why aren't you dressed for school? you do know it is way past 6 righttt"
"Yea I know that I'm just having trouble finding what to wear like there are soo many options to choose for and I have to look perfect today."
"Why any special reason?"
Immediately she asked it dawned on me that i haven't really told her about Temi soo I just gave her a toothy grin making a metal note to tell her after school whit that duly noted I said
"Umm no special reason I just wanna look extra nice today nothing wrong in that right"
I stuttered try my very best not to blush as the thought of Temi filled my mind I cleared my throat and shock off the thought before my mom noticed I was blushing and looking flushed.
"Soo what do you thing I should wear? I've literally gone through all my clothes but nothings seem right. Got any ideas"
"Hmm you know, I can't really help you if I don't know the reason why"
"Hmmm okay fine. I wanted to tell you this after school both I guess it can't wait. I found my zing/mate and yeah it's the same girls I bummed into in the airport the other day also you were right about us going to the same school"
"Wow oh. My. god Lora this is sooo great!!!! When? Where? How ? gosh girl give me the details !!!!"
"Yes mother I would right after you help me find what to wear. I am asking her to be my mate toady during poetry class and I need to make a very good impression with my clothes."
"Okay okay okay ill help umm do you know her favourite colour."
"Yea its purple, I know I could wear my favourite purple gown since purple has always been my favourite colour too, ahhh she is going to love it. And maybe a little make up even though make ups and gowns aren't really my style but it's all for the love of Temi."
"Awwwwwn my little tarantula is in love this is soo cute. You're going to have to bring her home someday okay."
"No problem. Will you help me pack my clothes back into the wardrobe, I really need to get ready right now it's almost 7"
With that I got out my bathing robe and into A matching undies and then the purple gown and then I sealed the outfit by wearing a black cone hills I wore a black choker necklace and black earrings. It was a good thing I had painted my nails two nights ago so everything was perfect except my hair and makeup.
My dreadlocks hair was a little difficult to style so I let it fall flat on my back as I used butterfly themed bobbing pin to hold them in place and once I was done my mom helped me with my making adding the right amount of everything especially lip gloss since she knew I never really liked makeup.
By the time we were done it was 8 on dot and before i rushed downstairs to join Eliot and his siblings to get breakfast my mom gave me extra for lunch money. Once I got to the kitchen they literally did a double take when I appeared at the kitchen to have breakfast but what surprised me was the complement that Cecilia actually gave me
"Wow for the first time Lora you could kiss a homeless dog or something worse than that in that outfit and no one would want to burn you live. (sips orange juice ) hmm I am flattered you are trying to be like me but you my dear you are far from there."
"Umm thank you I guess"
"That's right dear keep guessing. I'll be waiting for you guys in the car, toddledo."
I was about to get upset again but I took a deep breath to compose myself I wouldn't let Cece get under my skin not today so Ignored her and went to grab my breakfast.
I had already sat down on one of the indoor kitchen chair and table eating my breakfast did I notice both Colton and Eliot had finished there breakfast and were now staring at me intensely feeling uncomfortable under there gaze I said
"What?"
"Nothing Nothing at all Cecilia is right we should get going it's almost 8:30"
I rolled my eyes at them and finished the last of my breakfast which was bacon and eggs before Eliot who was still with me in the kitchen said
"Just ignore them they have a terrible way of saying stunning that's why they don't know what stunning is when it hits them in the face. By the way you look stunning"
I blushed lightly before we headed to the car. Once we were all buckled in we headed to school I was glad we were able to get to school in time for me to get to my first class for the day which is geometry, once I was well sited in my usual sit gathered my thoughts and went over my poem again
"Wow no way I'm sorry my name is molly and I'm looking for my friend Lora she usually sit right next to me, are you her twin sister because you look so much like her except prettier"
"Very funny molly its me, same old just new look."
"Well then hello dear gorgeous, don't you look pretty"
"Giggle awwn than-"
"Guys Lora missing some phony face who looks just like Lora high jacked her sit!"
Norman the class nerd yelled after surveying the class a little bit I rolled my eye at him but as I was about to correct him but molly beat me to it as she said
"Shut up Norman this is Lora, is it a crime she looks extra beautiful for once."
I giggle at her come back for Norman which really made him shut up and sit done on his usual sit which was front roll of the class.
"Thanks but this look isn't here to stay, I don't feel comfortable knowing a simple wind under my gown could throw me off my game."
"I hear ya cotton candy I hear ya"
"Alright class pop quiz and it carries 40% of your entire grade, put away all bags books and belongings now."
Said the geometry lecturer whom we all didn't noticed walked into the class 30sec ago. We all tried to settle down as he passed out the questions for the pop quiz and we all got to work immediacy. I was just happy that the questions he gave to us I had treated it before during a study sections with molly soo I had a faint Idea of what I'm supposed to do.
I might be a hybrid with an unstable mind but the human side of me works perfectly fine filling in for all my hybrid inadequacies.
After a couple hours of geometry it was finally time for the one class that will determine the way Temi would look at me from now on. It was time for poetry I walked into the class scanning the room for Temi but she hasn't arrived yet it was the perfect time to take my usual sit and go over the poem one more time so I went right to it 30 sec later she was sited beside me and I had to do a breading exercise to calm my racing heart.
She was equally beautiful all dress up in a fancy lavender dress with the right amount of makeup and accessories she smiled tentative at me when she noticed we were dressed the same way.
"Well what do you know we are on fire today. I take it you got the message out poetry lecturer sent"
"Umm (blush and clears throat) yea yea I did"
I tried to focus on the lecturer and what she was saying but the smell of raspberries and chocolate coming from my soon to be claimed mate was really distracting and It didn't help that she was sitting right beside me looking soo beautiful oblige to the fact that I am about to ask her out.
I tried to focus on my breaking only blocking out every other sound but I had to snap out of it as some else tapped me bring me back to the class as the lecturer called my name
"Okay every one we have talking about poetry for a while and finally someone was bold enough to inform me of her beautiful piece that she would like to share Lora... may be have you now"
I was blush really hard but I was thankfully I wasn't fair or close to fair if not my entire face and skin would be tomato red right now this was the moment I've waited for all morning and to say I was nervous was an understatement I was a nervous wreck and I was visibly shaking and terrified but I made sure not to think any negative thoughts I wouldn't let my fear of being rejected ruin this moment and soo with all the courage I could muster I walk to the front of the class and stood on the Minnie stage we had for our poetry class and said.
"(mouth was slightly ajar for 30 sec) hi, I wrote this to someone very... dear to me and I want you all to know how special this person is to me"
My fellow class mate awwwned and soo did Temi who still didn't know that what I was about doing is for her I took a calm deep and steady breath before I spoke again.
"My name is Lora orra kumar and this poem is titled"

"dedicated to the other girl in purple in this room"
Looking directly at an already teary Temi I proceeded.
"They say I'm a mess but they can't really guess
I'm eighteen and I can't be distressed, for the things they say can be pretty useless.
Love is a flame; they say make your mark and claim your part for there is no time for a chart.
Chat with the wrong person and get burnt but chat with the right person and get englobed.
I've seen you from afar and I've seen you up close, I've noticed the way you look at me and I can't help but break down with raw emotions possibly decompose. You are such an incredible blessing, rather wondrous and completely amazing. Each day I share with you is a wonderful surprise I can spend eternity just looking into your eyes.
Your eyes shimmer so bright that I could see flames of love burning soo bright. I know your thoughts towards me, ive seen it so mighty and without you I can't cosy up at night. My favour colour is purple and I hope its acceptable because when I look at it, it marches the flame that is aimed at you all day long.
You might thing I'm playing games but when you read between the lines you'll know that this is more than purple flames it's the hope that I'd get married to your name."
At this point she couldn't hold the tears any longer as she let it flow freely but unknown to her I wasn't done yet I continued the next verse but this time taking slow and steady strides towards her.
"I love you from head to toe
And much more than you'll ever know.
It hurts when you are sad.
And it makes me sad when you are mad.
I know we correct our mistakes every now and then
But please know I will love you till the very end.

As I said the last part of the verse I was just a few inches from where she was sitting shedding tears of joy uncontrollably this is it the big proposal the big moment here it goes and this was where words began to fail me as I stuttered
"So, I've been... I mean... umm ever since we... Temi, you're the coolest most interesting person I've ever met and after all the adventures that we had I'm just not sure I want all that to go away. Because my feelings right now are, like, huge.
I just think that they could be enough for me to say the way I am. If it means I could stay here with you. Like forever and ever and ever maybe longer than that even, Like in the fairy tales. Lola it's you and me, it's you and me forever. Will you make me the luckiest girl in the world and be my girlfriend?"
At this point everyone was holding their breath even I was holding my breath waiting for her reply, after like 5 sec she nodded her head positively as she said
"YES! YES I'LL BE YOUR GIRLFRIEND!!!"
And with that the whole class erupted into cheers as she kissed me on the lips I was blushing uncontrollably and so was she everyone in the class awwwned as we broke apart,
I finally wore on her neck the half a heart charm neck I bought online and it fit perfectly she helped me were mine too before we kissed again and somewhere in the class room someone was playing a song titled wolves by Selena Gomez that was how the class ended with me having a Temi as my girlfriend I couldn't stop smile for the rest of the day as we went to watch our schools basketball team play against Auradon prep.
5:00 pm
I was in my usual sit at the back of coltons car on our way home Cecilia mentions
"i saw what you did in poetry class"
I groaned at her statement and said
"Sure here comes the insultive complement"
She smirked tilting her head to the back to look at me from the passenger sit while Colton who was driving was secretly watching from the side mirror. Once she looked forward she finally responded saying
"Not bad, not bad at all although it's a bit stunning why you still looked like someone who drank too much purple soda"
Eliot who was sited next to me at the back rolled his eyes as his sister supposed complement and said
"Translations what cece is trying to say is, that was heartwarming and you still look drop dead gorgeous"
"Awwn thanks Eliot"
"Your welcome Lora"
30 mins after the conversation ended we got back to the pack house immediately we entered we all went our separate way but I was tacked with questions immediately I entered my room apparently my mom has been in my room all day doing God knows what.
"Ahhh your back finally! C'mon my little tarantula give me detail? How did it go? Did she like it? What did she say? I hope your class mate didn't ruin your special moment? Did you to make out?"
"Mommm!?! Okay great, yea, yes!! No and totally we did and it was beautiful"
"Tell me my little poison berry how beautiful is beautiful"
"Umm like half a heart charm necklace kind of beautiful"
"Ohhh my scream cheese it is beautiful!!!!! (Tears of joy) that Is literally the sweetest thing ever!!! Now the real details."
We talked for hours but it was mostly me doing all the talking and her doing most of the listening, with different thing as subject of conversation but mostly Temi as the main subject. I... I've never felt soo happy in my entire life i had dinner with my mom upstairs in my room and after dinner we had our mother daughter moment with her telling me how she met my dad and I was thrilled she was finally sharing it with me. We keep on gisting and talking about different thing until I started mumbling words I couldn't even understand. I fell asleep smiling to my self and when she noticed I was fast asleep she decided to put herself to sleep in her room too
