"So, who did your outfit come from? Who gave it to you?"

I was hesitate to tell her that Iries gave me this. She might be upset or something. Maybe that's what went through her mind. I noticed that the two of them had an argument just in the way they talked, I could tell. It's like they're debating or fighting like rats and cats.

"Hey, are you floating?" she asked again.

"Look, Draek!" I pointed Draek who was in the back, away from us. Perfect excuse as well.

She immediately turned her back to where my finger was pointing.

He waved at us and smiled, he was far away but there was a trace on his face that he was smiling. ‘I’m just not sure if he was smiling at me or at Leighden. There was something between the two of them, I really noticed.

"He's handsome, right?" my weak question. I heard no answer so I frowned as I looked at her with her back to me. I went in front of her to find out what she was doing.

I checked her reaction first. She doesn't seem to see me. She just saw Draek, her mind immediately floated, floated in the air or wherever her mind was floating. I looked where she was looking. Then, he walked closer while looking at the photos on his camera.

"Yes, he's handsome," she said suddenly so I looked at her with mixed surprise and question. I asked her earlier, now she just blurted out. Is it only now that her brain has received my question? Really?

My tongue retreated, I would have asked a question in case I don't know what else to ask. It may take her an hour to answer.

"Is he handsome?" she asked me. I can't explain her facial expression because her reaction is confusing. ‘I don’t know if she’s happy, if she’s angry, if she’s confused. Is that the effect of the mascaraed party?

"Well, I'm conscious," I replied. Instead of saying that Draek is handsome, I said, I don't know. A man who knows how to respect is a real definition of handsome, for me, yeah.

"I don't know, but you said he was handsome," I replied. If looks really are the basis of being handsome, yes, he is handsome. I haven't stared at him yet so I can't remember his looks. As far as I know, he's Draek, one of Neil's friend's. "Umm, why are you asking?"

She slowly chuckled and smiled afterwards. She did not answer my question.

"Hi," Draek greeted us. He was not looking at me but at Leighden. Obviously, they like each other.

Leighden's smile widened even more, I noticed that. "Hi," she greeted as well.

They don't seem to be with me. They are the only ones who feel good. 'Hey! I'm here! What? Except I'm like that?

He also looked at me and smiled. "Hi, Pershey," he greeted.

"Hi," I replied quickly even though I was still hesitant. Then, he immediately turned his gaze back to Leighden. 'Oh go ahead! Just stare! '

Maybe I'm just leaving? They are busy! They stare at each other. It's just like a step. I just need to shake their heads so that they can both get angry.

What? See an angel come down to earth from heaven? Stunned suddenly?

I looked at my watch. They have been staring at each other for 2 minutes. Aren’t they tired? What? They have no intention of speaking?

I remembered a line in the song so I sang to make them smile, "I'm like a statue."

"Ammm, I received a message from Neil," he said once grabbing his pocket. "He said ...."He can't come to your birthday, Pershey," he continued while looking slightly at me.

"Are you okay?" Draek asked, I nodded in response and forced a smile. "I'm sorry if he can't come, Pershey. He said he was going somewhere."

I just nodded at what he said. I don’t know what I should respond to what he said. I no longer expected him to go after what happened these past few days. It was impossible for him to go further.

"... you're beautiful today," he said. I just laughed a little while holding my hair. Leighden looked at me then immediately looked at Draek. I laughed a little at her reaction when Draek greeted me.

Is she jealous?

"Yes, Pershey, you're so beautiful," Leigh also complimented me and smiled again. "... isn't it?" She looked at Draek.

I just stop to laugh as she looks at Draek.

"C'mon, Leigh," I whispered once holding her arm.

"Where are we going?" she asked.

I thought for a moment. Why did I invite her? Where are we going?

"Let's go," Draek whispered so my brain stopped thinking of a good place to go.

"Excuse me?" Leighden's forehead furrowed slightly as she waited for what Draek would say next.

"We can take a walk while Pershey is not busy yet," he explained. I just nodded at what he said.

As far back as I can remember, he was rude to me then. On the first day of school, I bumped into Neil, the books I was holding were falling off, Neil shouted at me, and he even said that I might be blind.

He’s a bit innovative now. Is that because I am no longer Pershey like before? Or is it because I made changes? Or maybe because of Leighden?

"May I ask something?" I suddenly asked. I was also shocked from what come out of my mouth. What am I going to ask?

"Go on," he said.

Think, Pershey! Think!

"Ammm, nevermind. Nothing, don't mind it," I excused. Nothing entered my brain that I could ask him. The words 'May I ask something' suddenly came out of my mouth.

"Pershey!" someone called me so I looked around.

Iries, by the way. She's calling me while slowly walking.

"Bee bitch," Leighden whispered which I kind of heard back. I also looked at her when I heard her whisper.

Iries approached us still smiling.

"Oh, Draek," she said in shock as she looked at Draek. I noticed that Leighden was watching the two of them. "Why are you here?" she asked.

"I just said something," he replied. I was about to speak when someone caught my attention.

He's walking. I know him.

I can hear what he is saying. I just focused my gaze on the man walking towards us. Guess who?

Samuel.

"Hey, Pershey."

Samuel is nice to me but I should know him better. Too many changes from people around me when I made changes to myself.

"Hey!" Leighden even tapped my arm to wake up my spirit. I looked at them. "Why are you floating?" She asked. I just blinked as I tried to understand her question.

I still couldn't answer and I couldn't answer when I heard Samuel's voice.

"Hi," he said.

"Oh, Samuel," Iries said.

"Nice to see you, Iries, where is Fricks?" he asked.

"I don't know," she said. Fricks is her boyfriend but she doesn't know where he is? Is there such a thing?

"Let's eat first," Leighden whispered. Good idea since I'm really hungry. El Lavish Restaurant is closed so we can’t go there. Maybe it would be better if we ate at another restaurant. There is only one restaurant here at the University, only El Lavish.

"Can I go with you?" Iries asked but she was looking at Leighden. I watched them how they looked at each other.

‘Are they mad at each other?’ I asked in my mind.

"If you want, why not?"

Iries smiled a little. I don't know if it's a real smile or a fake smile. It's a bit hard to know her smile ah.

"What about me? Can I come with you?" Samuel asked so I focused my attention on him.

"Of course," I said weakly which also startled me. Why did I suddenly speak up?

He smiled at me so I smiled too. My gaze was focused on him but I could feel them staring at me.

"Butterflies flying in your stomach," Leighden suddenly said weakly and softly. "... am I right?" she stared at me as if she was telling me something.

I understood what she said later on, I laughed weakly.

"We better go," I laughed saying then walked ahead but I suddenly stopped.

"Why, Pershey?" she asked?
