Chapter 28: Chapter 28

Chapter 28

I gently opened my eyes. My vision is still a bit blurred.

"It's good that you woke up, Doña Pershey," Nanny Yuna opened up to me. She was sitting next to me.

"W-what happened?" I asked. I don't know why I'm here in my bed again. As I remember, I got up to open the door but I don’t remember going to bed again.

"You fell on the floor, Doña Pershey. You haven't eaten since last night until this afternoon," she explained. I didn't even eat last night. I have no appetite or even talk. I have no appetite at all. "Eat first," she invites as she mixes the porridge in the cup, she holds.

"I'm still full," I reasoned. I don't really have an appetite yet.

"Eat first, Doña Pershey. You're not full, you haven't eaten yet, do you remember?"

I slowly got up. I stayed in my bed, sitting up.

She was holding the porridge. She scooped up a spoon and put it in my mouth.

I looked at her and my mouth accepted the porridge she cooked.

She continued to feed me porridge until I ran out of it. She gave me milk and water as well as medicine (vitamins).

She was leaving so I thought of speaking. "Nanny," I called. She stopped, waiting to formulate what I was going to say. "Thankyou."

"I have an obligation to serve you," she replied. I smiled.

"Can you stay for a while?" I requested. She turned around then nodded in response. She sat down next to me again.

I watched her, so did she. I smiled, she smiled back.

"Thanks for caring, thankyou so much, Nanny Yuna."

She smiled broadly, caressing my face. I can feel her smooth palm, gentle.

I could see the smile in her eyes as she looked at me. "You're always welcome, Doña Pershey."

I smiled, not fake.

I was speechless. She continues to caress my face. Nor could the smile on her lips as she looked at me.

"Are you feeling well?" she asked. I nodded. "You shouldn't go hungry. You should be eating at the right time, Doña Pershey. Just tell me what you want to eat, I'll cook for you, I'll buy for you," she added. I was just smiling. She's so caring Nanny I ever had. She's different from the others.

"I have no appetite so I can't eat," I replied. She stopped stroking my cheek.

"You can talk to me about how you're feeling, I'll listen."

I thought for a moment. I know Nanny Yuna is not fake. I knew she would really listen, she would always listen.

"Nanny," I called softly as I looked down. "Where is your family?" I asked then I looked at her. She was just looking at me. She did not answer me immediately. It seems like she was surprised by my question.

"Far, far away they are," she replied. I wonder where they were. Does Nanny Yuna look like her daughter? Could she be as smart as her mother? I guess, she’s as beautiful as Nanny Yuna. What is the name of her daughter, of her husband? I'm excited to meet them, to see them. I would say that they have a kind and loving mother, wife.

"How did you meet your husband, Nanny?"

She blinked so I seemed embarrassed by what I asked. I notice her sigh.

"S-s-sorry, Nanny. Just don't answer," I said laughing. She looked at me, she smiled.

“I met him at church,” she begins. I smiled as she answered. I came closer so I could hear her better. She also smiles as she looks at me and at other things while recalling things. "... he's a sacristan," she smiled even wider as if she was thrilled when she remembered that. I smiled, yes, I was a little shaken by what she said. "... it's my first time going to church in that place, at their church. My best friend invited me to go to church but the truth is, she just goes to church because she wants to see her crush who always goes to church every week," she stopped, looking away from me. I could still see her wide smile. Argh! Nanny Yuna is thrilled.

I avoided making noise though there were butterflies in my stomach. I can feel them, flying, eating my intestine. I'm tickled.

I tried not to laugh due to spark. Nanny Yuna's love story is thrilling. I want to know who he is. Maybe he'll be handsome. I noticed that almost handsome people are sacristans, seriously!

Nanny was still a little late, she was still thinking. I was bored so I asked, "And then ... what's next?"

She smiled before she looked slightly, still smiling.

"I was looking at Father when he made us stand up. I don't know why I looked to the right where he was. When I looked at him, he looked right at me and smiled, I smiled too."

I laughed. She was surprised when I laughed. I just shuddered at what she was telling me. I laughed at the thrill. It was like I just wanted to go to church and find a sacristan.

She continued the storytelling. "... that day, my heart seemed to bounce because I didn't mean to look at him and then he looked at me exactly. I also don't know why I smiled when he smiled at me ... it seemed like i was love at first sight when I first saw him. "

"Love at first sight?" I asked.

"That's probably it," she laughed a little more. She's happy, literally. "... since then, I've been to church there often, every week," she stopped, smiling at me. "When I went to church, it was Wednesday. I was alone inside the church, kneeling on my knees, praying fervently. When I opened my eyes,he was next to me, kneeling, bowing and praying. I sat and looked at him even though he turned his back on me. After he prayed, I knew he was going to sit down so I looked at something else. That's where it all started with us. "

Touching story. I mean, Nanny Yuna's husband used to be a sacristan? What does he look like? Did he look so attractive then that Nanny Yuna immediately fell in love with him when they first met? Is he kind?

"Then, what happened? Did you get married? He no longer continued to be a sacristan?"

Unfortunately, the wide smile suddenly disappeared from her. I noticed she swallowed her own saliva. What's wrong?

She didn't look at me. I think, I should stop asking. I'm just recounting Nanny Yuna's past, eh.

"He told Father that he would no longer continue to be a sacristan. Father blessed us inside the church the day before he left the church. We had a baby, girl," she looked at me and smiled but she just seemed to be forced to smile.

She was looking at me, I could see what her looks indicated. Nanny Yuna was smiling but I could see something different in her eyes.

"Why do you ask?" she asked me.

"Nothing. I hope to experience that soon."

"You can't eat because you're thinking of someone?"

I nodded. To this day, everything Neil said is still fresh in my mind. I hope to find a man like Nanny's husband. I want to meet another guy, someone who can appreciate and love me ... truly.

“You’re still young,” she said. I nodded again. I knew I was young so I shouldn't have focused my attention on Neil. I was too sent to the impulse of my emotions. "... the right man for you will also come. You shouldn't look for him, he will come on his own."

Exactly. So I was so wrong that I was in a hurry. I thought, Neil would love me. I thought, he will also learn to love me.

So, when will the right man come for me?

"When you look for him, you'll get tired of finding him. When you wait, you get impatient. You must, first love yourself and appreciate everything around you. Don't look or wait, he will come, he will come to life voluntarily."

"You, Nanny, did you wait for him, did you look for him?"

She shook her head, smiling, a true smile, I know.

"He came voluntarily. I don't have love life in mind but he came into my life voluntarily, unexpectedly. I didn't look for him but we met in the house of god."

I hope, all love stories are similar to Nanny Yuna's love story. I hope to find a man like him.

"When is he coming?" I asked. She took a deep breath, stroking my cheek again.

"He's coming, don't worry. You know," she stopped, pulling my hair loose. She was looking at my hair, still smiling. "... sometimes, we don't know that the person destined for us has arrived. We just don't notice because it's not yet time for us to know the person for us. Sometimes, we don't know that we are already with the person for us , but it's not time yet. Love, comes into human life at the right time. You don't have to look, it will come. "

I sighed at what she said. There are some things I don’t understand but her main point, love will come at the right time.

That’s probably what I should do. How can I say that I love myself first? How can I say that I value myself?

"For now, rest first, Doña Pershey."

She supports me so I can lie down. She also kissed me.

"Sleep well," she said before she left.

Nanny Yuna is right, they are all right.

For now, I first need to rest and think of new good things.

I need to be who I am but who am I? Yes, I am Pershey but I wanted to be myself. I used to be an old classic woman. I wanted to change myself, it was just for myself as well.

I wanna focuse myself on things. I realized, Neil made me realized everything I thought was true and right.

I need changes not to amazed them but to be who I am, to be Akishara Shane Pershey Santiago Adejar.

I will be a model !! I will be!
