Carlos Zack went home where his friends were already waiting for him, they sat close to him with worried faces. "What did the old man say?" Eric asked, breaking the silence.

Carlos laughed softly. "He told me to call an interview and announce a marriage proposal to that unknown girl." He told them.

They all looked surprised, they were not expecting this either. "Then what did you say?" Blake asked him.

Carlos looked at his friends with knotted brow. "I can't marry a person I don't know or love, I declined Blake, Kelsey wouldn't want that and I can't risk my grandpa company. What do I do?" He asked them.

They were the only ones who him and also, the only ones he rely on for advice.

Garrett looked at his friends with sad eyes. "I don't know if I should say this, but Carlos to be honest with you, you have to do as the chairman said, this would also affect the New Zealand project if you don't act fast," Garrett told him.

Gabby came downstairs after hearing their conversation. "That was well said." She smiled.

They all looked at her while she continues with a mocking tone. "It's like a movie Carlos." She sat down close to them. "Click...click..tick.. tick...boom! And your world comes trembling down cause of one mistake."

She laughed and looked at her brother. "Nah... I can see your head spinning right now, but don't get hard on yourself." She told him with a chuckle.

Eric looked at her, how can a sister be so evil at this moment. "Gabby you're so annoying." He told her.

"I know." Gabby smiled sipping her juice.

Blake glared at her. "You should be helping, not putting more pressure on the fire." He told her coldly.

Gabby waved her hand as if a fly was buzzing in her ear, waving Blake's words away. "Save me the lecture... Carlos needs it most now."

She looked at Carlos still with mocking eyes. "Carlos you're my big brother with the big words of advice filled in your brains, now it's time you feed yourself with that advice, cause right now you need it more than I do." She scoffed.

"That's enough Gabby!" Carlos scold her. "I know you're offended about what happened yesterday, I'm sorry, but now is not the time please." He told her gently.

He knew why she was acting this way, he had always advised and stopped her from going the wrong way, but right now was not the time she reminds him of all the bad things he had said to her, right now his head was spinning and he is looking for solution to this problem.

Gabby understand him perfectly and relax on her chair. "Well...you got a point there."

Garrett looked at Gabby. "Gabby he is having a big crisis here, if you have anything that would help then tell us." He told her.

Even if Gabby was a brat, they also seek advice from her and help sometimes.

Gabby smiled and crossed her legs, she kept the juice on the table. "Okay listen up." They all focused on her including Carlos. "Carlos, you love Kelsey right?" She asked her brother.

"Yes, I do." He answered.

"Those two words, I love hearing them." Gabby smiled and looked at her brother. "Okay, and this other girl on TV you don't like her?"

"I don't even know ow her." He answered impatiently. "Come on Gabby, I need advice, not questions." He rolled his eyes.

"Okay." Gabby exhaled. "Just like grandpa said, propose marriage to her, make the press know, at least you will become more popular and famous." She told him with a smile.

Everyone leans back with a sigh. "One piece of advice for you Gabby. Go and swim because right now you're high." Eric told her.

Gabby smiled and stands up. "I'm going already, who wouldn't like a famous and popular brother." She said finally before walking out.

Garrett looked at the dejected Carlos. "You should explain things to Kelsey, then do the interview and solve this issue," Garrett told him.

Carlos loosens his tie, he was downcast at this moment. "How can I do that?" He asked closing his eyes to think. Kelsey was more important to him.

"Man you got to do that," Blake told him and they all looked at each other.

Triffany Joey visited Nick and Allison in their apartment, she was dancing to the new song beat her favourite musician just released.

Allison came out from the kitchen with the chips she just made and looked at the happy Triffany. "Gosh! Triffany, how will you be so carefree with all the news airing these days." Allison told her.

Triffany was still dancing to the hot beat of the music. "Which news?" She asked.

"Unbelievable, Triffany be serious for once," Allison told h,r.

"Allison...life will be boring if I'm serious," Triffany told her with a smile and a wink.

Allison sat down looking at her cousin, she doesn't believe this, everything that has been going on now, Triffany felt so relaxed. "Have you thought about what could be of you? Huh!" She asked her.

"I'm fine, let the rich deal with their issue," Triffany said lazily.

"Which you're included in.." Allison added.

"Not just that." Nick came into the sitting room. "You both got to see this!" He exclaimed.

He turned on the TV, where Carlos Zack was making a live interview.

Carlos in the press interview. "I've heard about the news, the rumours going around for the past two days now and many questions about, who the lady is? and if we know each other? and what made her cry in front of me?"

Triffany looked at the TV and sighed. "Cry in front of you! Gosh!"

Carlos in the interview. "I'm here also to clear everything about the rumours and questions. Her name is Triffany Joey." He said.

Tiffany's face looked at the man on TV. "How did that brat know my name?" She asked sceptically.

Nick shook his head at Tiffany's question. "They are rich and can research someone." He told her, what exactly does she know.

"We've known each other for a while now," Carlos said in the live interview.

Allison looked at Triffany. "Triffany is that true?" She asked.

Triffany glared at the man on the TV. "I know he was a good lier, I know it would come to this to cover his ass!" She yells.

Carlos continues in the interview. "We are lovers, we planned to get married but she drifted from her place." He said.

Tiffany's eyes shone stunned and Nick looked at her. She stood up. "How dare he lie!" She was so furious now.

Carlos on TV. "We lost contact and I travelled to further my education in California, she cried when she saw me for the first time in a long while. Especially when I made an embarrassing appearance cause my driver mistakenly splashed mud water on her."

Triffany held her hair looking at that lier on TV. "I'm sick of listening to this news!" She shouted.

Nick calmed her down. "Hey, let listen to everything." He told her.

Carlos continues in the interview. "I have to give her money cause she refused to come into my car since she was still mad at me and I couldn't bear to see her leave in such a mess, but she turned it down by throwing the money back at me." He said.

Triffany was so pissed. "Aish! I have to kill that jerk." She was fuming with anger.

Carlos in the interview. "That was everything about that footage." He finished.

"What are you going to do now?" A reporter asked him.

"I'm going to get married to her, she was my lover and I still love her, even now." He told them.

"What!" Triffany stood stunned by his words.

Nick smiled. "Wow! I guess you're going to be a princess soon, I'm glad I'm your cousin." Nick said with smiles.

Triffany hits his head with her hand. "How dare you joke right now!" She said in furry.

Carlos on TV. "Now please, let these rumours stop, I've found my lover and she won't be pleased to hear all these rumours. I have to get my girl back and we would announce our wedding soon. Thank you all." Say this he stepped out of the hall.

He went into his office and threw everything down from his table in anger, as tears fell from his eyes.

Garrett came in and looked at Carlos. "Carlos." He called out to his dejected friend.

Carlos looked at Garrett with tears in his eyes. "How do I face her? What would she say to me? I betrayed her Garrett. I betrayed Kelsey. How do I face her after this mess? How do you think she would feel watching this." Carlos said sobbing.

"Carlos." Garrett looked at his friend with sad eyes.

"I want to be alone please," Carlos told him and turned facing the French window. Garrett respectfully left the office and told Felicity not to go in and to cancel all of Carlos schedule.

Laura Joey called Triffany as soon she saw the news. Triffany picked the call. "Hello, Mom." She knew she must have seen the news.

"Triffany did you see the news?" Laura asked her without hesitating.

"Yes Mom, it's not a big deal," Triffany told her, caring less about the news.

"Where are you?" Laura asked.

"I'm at Nick's apartment."

"Can you come home now?" Laura asked her with her voice downcast.

Triffany sense her mother's anxiety. "Is something wrong?" She asked. Damn everything was wrong now.

"We have some unfamiliar guest here," Laura told her.

"Unfamiliar guest?" Triffany asked with confusion, who could these people be?

"I'm on my way mom." She told her mother who ended the call.

Allison looked at Triffany with curious eyes seeing her reaction, she asked. "What is wrong?"

"Some unfamiliar guest are at our house, I have to go now," Triffany told them and picked up her back.

Nick giggle at her and said with so much joy. "That must be your in-laws."

Triffany frowned, she knew he was making fun of this situation. "Nick, just play some games."

Nick smiled. "Now you want me to play, problem, gist me later, bye-bye He waved her.

Triffany shook her head at her silly cousin and waved Allison goodby before leaving the house with her bag.

Triffany arrived home and saw flashy cars parked outside their house. She decided not to go in through the front door, she went through the back door and saw her mom.

"Mom, what's going on? Who are they?" She asked with curiosity and mixed fear.

She has not seen any car like that looking at it, it must be that of a very wealthy man.

"It's Glammaly estate chairman and his wife," Laura told her.

"Huh!" Triffany looked at her mother shocked. She had recently found out that Glammaly estate is a very big and among the top ten richest company.

"What are they doing here?" She asked her mother.

"They want to meet you because of the news," Laura told her.

Triffany trembled to hear this, was this a scene where they throw water on her face and threaten her. Were they here to put her in jail because of the scene.

She looked at her mother with little tears in her eyes. "Mom, everything their son said was a lie, I've never in my life know him, neither are we lovers," Triffany explained.

"I know baby." Laura seeing her terrified daughter held her hands and pat them gently.

"Where is daddy?" She asked. She won't be terrified if her father was around, she had back up and her parents will always defend her, no way is she going to be sent away by these rich people because of their son's lie.

"He's with them, come pay your respect dear." She told her daughter.

Holding her mother's hand they both walked into the sitting room, thoroughly they look all rich and mighty but the gaze in their eyes made her at ease.

She bows and greeted them respectfully. "I'm Triffany Joey." She also introduced herself.

Ethan Zack looked at the young lady with smiles in his eyes, he asked gently. "How are you doing?"

Seeing his smile made Tiffany's bad imagination disappear, if they were here to send her to jail for throwing money on their son, they won't be smiling at her now. "I'm okay." She told them.

Then she got her boldness back but said gently. "Until I saw the news, can you please explain it to me?" She asked and sat close to her mother.

She but it was her right to know what that news means, what marriage? What lover? She hands out.

Ethan looked at her with a gentle face. "I was just apologizing to your parents about it, but just as it was said by my grandson on the news, we are in support of the marriage." He told her.

Triffany frowned slightly, support of which marriage, she would never marry that rude jerk, maybe they were also blinded by his lie, when he said they were past lovers, she has to clarify this.

She looked at them. "I don't know about your grandson, I don't even know his name and we've not met or known each other until that footage you all saw. Everything he said in that interview was all lies." She told them.

At this moment she was not scared to tell them that their grandson was a liar, she has her mother and father here and she was no longer scared.

Bailey Zack looked at Triffany with tender eyes, she know that the news must have also shocked her, she had to tell her the truth. "He has to do that to save the company and he will come to love you., Bailey told her.

They came here to apologise to her parents and her and by doing so they told them the exact truth, they won't leave their in-law to be in the dark.

Hearing these words from this elderly lady made Triffany a little pissed, she looked at her and said with a cold voice. "To make this clear...I don't love him and I will not have anything to do with that jerk!"

They all looked at her surprised and shocked, Trevor looked at his daughter. "Triffany." He scolded her with his voice raised.

Triffany was already stubborn and she was not ready to be forced by anyone, not even from these rich people.

She looked at her father with an expressionless face. "I'm sorry dad, but I won't be doing this cause everything is a lie." She stands up and looked at the two elderly guests. "Please, excuse me, have a safe trip back." She told them before leaving for her room.

Trevor looked at the elderly guest. "I'm so sorry for my child's misconduct." He apologized.

Bailey smiled and shakes her head. "She's a good girl." She told him.

Ethan Zack looked at Trevor. "I understand how she feels, I'm sorry all these things are only for our good." He apologized sincerely.

"You have explained everything to me already, I'll talk to her," Trevor assured him.

Trevor already knows the thing about business and he had seen this coming already, he understands the point they are making.

"Thank you," Ethan told him.

After they both Left, Laura looked at her husband and told him with a soft and gentle voice. "Trevor, Triffany is not happy."

Trevor exhaled, this news had also made him tired. "Laura, I know all this will happen, we can't deal with it. I don't want to ruin my daughter so she has to get married to him." He told her.

"Think of her happiness Trevor," Laura told him searching his eyes, all she cared about was her daughter's happiness and nothing more.

Trevor told his wife's hand and pat it gently, he knows his wife thought. "I'm thinking of that Laura and the news was the only way to keep our daughter safe from the public. Please understand me." His eyes were so tender.

Laura felt a little sad in her heart, what he was saying was true, if they had not used the interview to cover those rumours it would have been worst. "I understand you, but will Triffany do the same?" She asked him.

"I have to speak with her first."
