Triffany went to Tanner's room the next morning, since she woke up early.

"Hey Tanner." She called out to her sleeping brother as she opened the curtain and let the sunray in.

Tanner gently open his eyes and sat up, stretching his body he looked at his sister. "Good morning Triffany.".

"Morning Tanner, wake up." She hands him a glass of milk. "Here, drink this."

"Thanks." He drank them all and placed the glass on the table.

"Now, time to prepare you for school." She told him. "Get up." She can remember doing this at home when she was not yet married.

"Carry me." Tanner told her and open his arm wide pretending to be tired.

"You're not a child so get up yourself." Triffany told him, she already know this was one of his act.

Tanner sighed. "Mom would have carried me." He put his hands down.

"Sorry, but am not mom, am your sister." She flashed him a quick smile. "Tanner, come on..."

"Okay." Tanner climb down the bed and picked up his towel.

"Should I bath you?" She asked him.

"What! Don't be absurd. Am not a kid. I can bath myself." He told her with a frown.

Triffany chuckled. "But, just now you said I should carry you."

"Oh..come on. I was kidding."

Triffany smile. "Go on. Take your bath but, avoid putting soap in your eyes."

"I won't." He told her and went into the bathroom to bath as Triffany ironed his uniform and kept it for him.

"Dress up and come downstairs for breakfast." She called out.

"Okay." Tanner responded from the bathroom as Triffany went downstairs to prepare breakfast for him.

Few minutes later, Tanner came downstairs to the dining, where Triffany have already set his breakfast of toasted bread, fired egg and a cup of sweet tea.

"How do I look?" He asked her.

"Neat and handsome." Triffany smiled and pointed at a chair. "Sit down and eat."

He sat down and she joined him. "Thanks for the meal." He told her.

"You're welcome."

Tanner looked around. "Where is Mr Carlos and Miss Gabby?" He asked when he didn't see them.

"Gabby left early for some morning exercise. While my husband is asleep, tired from yesterday's work." She told him and sip her tea.

"He must be. He's so hardworking. To own such a huge company comes with hardworking and intelligence." Tanner said honestly.

Triffany scoffed, knowing fully well what her brother was trying to do. "Just eat your breakfast."

"And then..." Tanner raised the corner of his lips as Triffany looked at him. "The cute Miss Gabby is alway trying to stay healthy and physically fit. She's awesome. You should learn from her, you know."

Triffany rolled her eyes. "Tanner, you'd be late for school, so just eat."

"Okay." Tanner narrowed his eyes. "Always trying to change the topic." Triffany was pissed as she sprinkle water on his face. "Gosh that's horrible!" Tanner shouted.

Triffany sticks her tongue out. "That should shut you up a bit." She said smiling victoriously.

Tanner shook his head. "You're really childish." He wiped his face.

"Tanner..." Triffany gave him the shut-your-mouth-and-eat look.

"Okay..sorry." He winks her.

Triffany smile. "Stop being cute with me....it's annoying."

Tanner grins. "No, I won't." They both chuckled and started eating their meal.

Carlos who was upstairs watching them all these while smiling without their noticed.

He looked at Triffany and leans close to a pillar. "She's playful and childish but she's cute and lovable. She's pretty and the best..."

He bite down his lips as he watch them chatting and eating. "She's my wife." He smiled broadly and realized he need to dress up for work and he went back into his room.

Carlos Zack and Elvis Daniels head into the office Triffany and Tommy were working. They presented the article topic to him and he went through it. "Is this it?"

"Yes." Elvis answered.

Carlos looked at Triffany and Tommy. "Why pick this topic out of the list i gave you?"

"It's best fit and will draw more audience." Tommy told him

Carol's looked at the file again and then.at Triffany who has her eyes on him. "Okay." He hands the file to Elvis who gave it to Tommy and Triffany.

"I want it published by next week. So you have a full week to do all your research and finalize it." He told them, with his business like voice.

"Thank you so much for letting us do this." Elvis Daniels told him.

Carlos looked at Tommy and then to Triffany. "They shouldn't disappoint me."

"I am sure they won't." Elvis Daniels assured him.

"I will put that in mind." Carlos said as Felicity walk close to Carlos.

"Sir, it's time to meet the directors." She told him softly.

"Okay Felicity. I will be there shortly." Carlos told her and Felicity left the office. "I will leave you all now." He told Elvis and walked out of the office.

It seems they were all holding their breath when he was there as they all exhaled sharply.

Tommy tilt his head to a side. "There is really something with his speech and attitude."

"He spoils the mood whenever he come in." Triffany admits.

"You're both free to continue your work now. You better give this your best shot." Elvis Daniels told them.

"Yes sir." They said at once, then he left them.

Tommy looked at the topic again and smile. "This will be fun." He smile and turned to Triffany. "We better get to work."

"Okay." She admired Tommy's fast typing skill as he finished and turned it for her to see.

"How about this?" He asked her.

Triffany glance through it and look up at him. "Wow, you're truly a professional. House just put that down just now." She gave him a thumbs up.

Tommy chuckled and sent her an email. "I just sent you an email. Check it out and do some research of that technology. We have to be done with that part today."

"Okay. Am on it." She told him and went to her desk as she started her work.

Carlos finished the meeting as he walked with the directors and happened to pass through the office Triffany and Tommy were.

He saw her close to him through the glass door as his eyes darkened to see her laughing and chatting with him, so close to him too.

The directors grab his attention and her flashed them a thin smile and walked away with them.

While in the office Triffany finished showing him the research she had done and head back to her desk to continue her work.

At home that evening Triffany taught Tanner his homework while Carlos went through some business file in the living room. Gabby sat at a corner chatting with people on her phone.

“What will be the answer of number five?” Triffany asked Tanner.

“A lion.” He answered.

“That’s correct, mark it then.” She told him and he did it with a smile on his face.

“I know the next question’s answer.” He told her when she was about to ask him of it and Triffany looked at him.

“Then mark it.” She told him and he tick the correct answer, Triffany grins. “Tanner is really smart.”

Tanner chuckled. “More than you.” He said proudly.

Triffany raised the corner of her brow. “Then why am I helping you with your homework?”

Tanner thought for a while and smile. “You’ve got a point.” Carlos looked up from his laptop and smile as he watched them continue teaching him.

“Good thing you know.” She smiled and her phone started ringing. She answered after checking the caller ID. “Hello Mom.” Hearing mom, Tanner looked up from his book. “Yes Tanner is here.”

“Let me talk to him.” Laura asked and she gave Tanner the phone.

“Hello Mommy!” Tanner called out with excitement.

“Tanner, my boy.” Laura was also happy to hear from him, if her husband had died in the crash, she never knew how she would have to her son about it, but she was grateful that he was happy.

“Mommy you left without telling me, am I that unimportant?” Tanner asked picking offense as Triffany and the others looked at him.

“No honey, it was urgent.” Laura said softly, realizing how worried Tanner would have been at that time.

“I miss you and dad.” Tanner said with his little voice.

“We miss you too, so much and guess what?”

“What mom?” He asked.

“We’ll be back tomorrow.”

“Cool!” Tanner exclaimed with joy. “I have a lot of things to tell you when you’re back.”

“I can’t wait to hear it then.” She smiled.

“Okay mom.”

Trevor took the phone from Laura. “Hello little man.” He said to his son.

“Hi Dad, am no longer a little man.” He said with smile on his face.

“I know.”

“I am being a good boy, so don’t bother asking and I am not giving Triffany headache.” He added, knowing his father always ask that, Triffany on the other hand chuckled to hear him say this.

“That’s good to hear, see you tomorrow then.”

“You too dad.” Tanner said with smile, satisfied that he had heard his father’s voice.

Trevor gave the phone to Laura. “Goodnight honey and sweet dreams.”

“Goodnight mom.” Tanner smiled and hands the phone over to Triffany before he continue his assignment.

“When coming tomorrow, come with Carlos, I would love to prepare dinner for all of us.” Laura told her from the other side of the line and Triffany looked at Carlos who was still busy with his laptop.

“Okay mom.” She doesn’t know how to convince him to go with her but she know he do act like a husband whenever he is in the presence of her parents, perhaps he is going to act like one again. “Goodnight mom.”

“Goodnight.” Laura told her and disconnected the call.

Triffany turned to Tanner with a slightly furrowed brow. “You lied to daddy.” Tanner flashed her a smile. “Funny boy.” She looked down and he was done with his homework. “Alright time for bed.” She told him and he got up with his book.

“I can sleep on my own tonight.” He told her when she wanted to go with him. “Mom already wished me sweet dreams.”

Triffany smiled. “Good for you then.” She squats close to him. “Peek me goodnight then.” Tanner did.

“Goodnight.” He told her and turned to Carlos who was watching him. “Goodnight Mr Carlos Zack.”

“Goodnight young man.” Carlos told him and Tanner went over to Gabby and peek her cheek. “Goodnight cute miss.” He told her.

Gabby smiled. “Goodnight Tanner.” Tanner smile and walked to his room. “Your brother is really cute.” Gabby told Triffany.

Triffany stands up with a grin. “I feel embarrassed at his behavior at times.”

“He’s lovely, unlike someone I know.” Carlos told her and Triffany gave him a hard glare.

“No fights today, please.” Gabby told the both of them, raising her hands up, she don’t have the energy to laugh at their drama.

Carlos looked down at his laptop. “Seems you had a lot of fun at work today in the office.” He was talking to Triffany as she look at him. “I saw you smiling and laughing so loudly with Tommy.” He added.

Gabby heard Tommy’s name and looked up from her phone. Was it the Tommy she knows or someone else?

“Were you spying at us?’ Triffany asked with her brow raised.

“Why will I do that?” He looked up at her. “I passed by with some business directors and you both were so loud, I have no other choice but to see it.” He paused. “You haven’t laughed so loud like that when you’re with me.”

Triffany sat on the chair and scoffed. “That’s because you always have fun when hurting me, why should I laugh around you?” She curled her lips upward. “Are you perhaps jealous of me and Tommy Maxwell?” Gabby looked up sharply.

“Don’t get ahead of yourself.” Carlos said indifferently.

“Did I hear you say Tommy Maxwell?” Gabby asked and Triffany and Carlos looked at her with a curious eyes. “Did I hear correctly?” Gabby asked, looking at the both of them.

“Yes, he is my co-worker. We would be working on an article together at Glammaly estate. He was also my classmate in the university.” Triffany explained as everything became clear to Gabby.

“Why did you ask?” Carlos asked Gabby. “Do you know him?”

Gabby forced a smile. “I am not sure, but he is the man I told Triffany that I love.” Carlos looked at her Puzzled, this was the first time he have heard that Gabby was In love.

“Gabby, is Tommy, him?” Gabby nods. Triffany was surprise as she had just realize that Tommy was the man Gabby have told her about. “That’s nice, he is a good friend of mine, you should have told me his name earlier.”

Triffany smile happily. “He was the one who tutor me when I needed help and now you got yourself an easy pass. I will tell him how good you are.” Gabby lightened up.

But soon the smile on her face disappeared when she remembered something. “But, he already love someone.”

Triffany looked at her sceptically. “Tommy doesn’t have a lover as far as I know.” She told Gabby, if Tommy have someone he would have told her about it and she haven't seen him make calls with a any lady.

"Can you both tell me what i don't know?" Carlos who was still confused demanded.

Triffany turned Carlos. "Gabby here, love Tommy and she couldn't tell him because she thinks he loves someone else, when he doesn't." Triffany explained.

Carlos smile when he heard this, he turned cheerfully to his sister. "Gabby, that's nice. You can have him." What Carlos want was for Tommy to stop looking at his wife and he was glad that Triffany realize Gabby is in love with Tommy.

Gabby exhaled softly. "Triffany, Carlos, let me do this on my own." She looked at Triffany. "Triffany, I appreciate your help." She stood up. "I better go in now." She told them and left for her room as Carlos watched her smiling happily.
