FOUR- ANNOYING JERK

I sat at the long table in the cafeteria with my favorite duo.we were all talking about random things.yeah, that's right.I later found my way to the cafeteria after series of wishing dozie curses for scattering my hair.

Hair is  really  important to girls you know.

Sandwich was saying something funny which made sophie and I laugh out loud

" hey look! It's my favourite  three musketeers " a sacarstic voice rang out behind us.we turned back to the caller and there stood depriye and sola.

They were both science students and they were kind of close with sophie.though depriye was Adam's friend and also dozie's.

Yeah they were three friends and I call them demons..

while sola was just sophie's nerdy friend.she was abit dark and chubby but had nice curves.her face was the kind you would refer to as 'dark beauty ' she had lovely eyes which were hooded in a red framed glasses and her deep lovely dimples graced the side of her cheeks.her lips were pink and full. And no matter how nerdy  Sola looked, she was still every guys favourite cause she was beautiful and smart.

But.

We became close cause of sola was and is still reading partners with sophie and being that, they got along so well.she introduced sola to us and we all clicked so well.and about depriye...sola and depriye had started dating since ss1 and being friends with her.she couldn't help but drag her friendly and annoying boyfriend into our click.

" hey Priye I also missed you and your sorry ass " I replied smirking at him.he flashed me a cute grin as he sat down beside Sola who was comfortable in between Annette and her annoying boyfriend.

" you mean this ass you kept dreaming about during the holidays" he replied smirking and I scoff

" eww.." I was about to say something when sola beat me to it by smacking Priye's head

" Ouch " he cried and she glared at him through her eyeglass

" you idiot..you have your girlfriend beside you.stop flirting " she warned and we laughed as Priye gave a cute pout

" I was going to tell her I'm taken anyway " he said and I mutter to Sola

" now you realize what an asshole you are dating. He's way too clumsy " I said shooking my head as we all laughed about it.

" where are the other two assholes..umm..scratch that. Only one is an asshole " I ask still wearing a smug look on my face

" you mean my awesome twins ?" Priye asked winking and I scoff

" more like awesome idiot "

" one idiot happened to be your crush" Sophie said and I quickly face palmed myself

" no.no.no..one idiot happened to be really an idiot and one is just totally awesome. " I said in defense and they all chuckled.

It was an open secret to all of them that I had a crush on Adam. Well, except that Adam knew nothing about it.and that's because I told them..even Priye  I warned them.okay, more like I begged them not to tell him

I wasn't ready to be disappointed and you know..

I felt someone sniff my neck behind and I quickly turn back to see fucking dozie and his I hate to admit it though but I have no choice perfect nostrils in between my neck and the hair he just ruined today

" get away from my back..I'm not your little puppy " I snarl using my fingers to pinch his nose

" Ouch..chin chin..can you get a little less feisty  "he  muttered in pain at the hurt

" this is so little compared to what I planned to do with you. "

" what did I do?"

" you fucking ruined my hair..you idiot " I yell a little and the idiot smirks

" Language Meera! " Sola cautioned

" well..you..I thought you smelt beautiful " he replied still wearing hia stupid smirk and I huff

" and what do you think? " Sophie asks innocently

" spices " the idiot replied. Ruffling my hair further.

I suddenly became angry. No it wasn't sudden.  That jerk had been looking for ways to piss me off. I knew I never smelt like spices..

" stop picking on her you fool " Annette said glaring at stupid dozie who only shrugged

" what's wrong with me ? " he asked and I Stand up immediately, stomping on his feet

" Everything!!! " I yell at him before leaving the table. I could hear Sophie saying sadly

" now she's mad at us.and dozie it was all your fault. "

I went over to the counter where the food was bought.school had two sections so you decide if you want to eat school food or if you want to buy your food.

" good afternoon mam'm " I greeted politely and she smiled at me

" well done my daughter.what do you want to buy ? "

" A plate of jollof rice, ripe fried plantain and a bit of ketchup " I said and she nodded in reply.

Minutes later she was packaging my food. I paid her and then returned back to my table with my food and surprisingly. Guess what?

Clara was at my table.and not only her but then Adam's too.

I stood speechlessly at them..it was getting scary already. Okay scary..noo

But it was getting abit surprising and confusing.how come I suddenly had a full table..

I quickly did a recap in my head.and whoop.I knew where the problem was.

I and my duo.'once' had a table to ourselves and then Sola and co.came along.stupid dozie yeah I'm still mad at him sometimes came to my table esp.when he wanted to annoy me.

But then, Adam and Clara?  Clara ke?

Something was wrong and I was going to find out.

After minutes of trying to figure out the occasion of why I had a full table. I decided to walk up to them

" oh here she comes " Annette aaid in delight and I smiled at her

" we really thought you were never going to come back " dozie muttered but I still heard him anyway

" speak for yourself you douche and quit vexing her already " priye whispered beside him. I rolled my eyes at him.totally ignoring him as I sat down

" what is clara doing here ?" I asked out aloud.I couldn't help my curiosity any longer

" umm..hello to you too.but this isn't your table..personal table " she replied sneering and I smiled at her

" of course it isn't.and I'm not trying to chase you. I just thought  maybe you're finally tired of rolling with unreasonable people " i retort and I could hear Annette and Priye snicker at her.

Her face fell and she glared at me.already looking red from the embarrassment.

" you are so insufferable. Do you even think you're reasonable you own self?"

" at least.I'm better than one who never had a brain before " I said almost immediately and I could see the rest trying to hold up their laughter as Clara quickly slammed her plate on the table.

She stood up, totally vexed as she glared at me.and finally stomping away in anger.I shrugged

Now I never knew why she sat at my table.. Ufff

" why is she over reacting. I just tried congratulating her for finally seeing the light.turns out that she's still as dumb as fuck " I muttered and sola nudged me again

" language meera " she warned glaring at me and I roll my eyes at her

" you just savaged someone and you think you congratulated her " priye said beside me and I gave a wry smile

" you better learn how to be less fiesty chin chin " dozie added.using his fork to dip into my food so he could steal a plantain

" put your filty and rotten sticks you call hands  inside my food again and see if I don't slice you up with my fork" I yell at him given him a stink eye as the rest of the guys laugh

Dozie pouted cutely at me giving me the puppy look

" your food looks delicious na "

" just try me " I challenge and he quickly stands up.like he was leaving the table.

Maybe I haven't really know dozie that well, cause stupid dozie wouldn't just leave like that. Therefore he decided to add more sauce to his farewell by aggressively staining my school white with a huge drop of ketchup

On a monday!!!

First day of school???

You see why the asshole doesn't change?

I bit my lips as I glared at him suddenly loosing my appetite. Dozie was looking at me with an innocent face that made me want to rip his insides out

" she's going to kill you " Adam who had been quiet all the while  muttered beside him..oh shit .

he whispered back, loud enough for me to hear

" I hope not "..

I sigh deeply, abandoning my food and stomping off to the bathroom while dozie stupid mattew called after me.
