TWENTY FIVE- DRUNK

"Hey chin chin " I called her and that minute, her face flushed up in embarrassment as she tried playing cool in front of the guy from earlier. I bit back my lips to prevent me from smiling when I noticed she was using one side of her eye to shoot me one of those her infamous death glares.

" you..chin.." the guy stuttered in amusement and I smirked

" you won't understand man can you give us sometime " I said with my subconscious adding better still flee

He glanced at meera.as if asking for her permission.

" are you going to be okay ?" He asked and she nodded

"you sure? I'm going to hang around for awhile " he said again.I could feel my patience already depleting as I rolled my eyes at him

Meera gave him a small smile "Zach. I'll be fine "

Oh so his name is Zach

The so called zach smiled in response "okay dear..but if you need anything, just let me know.I'm only one call away " he said and that minute I lost it.

"just fuck off dude.she's going to be fine" I snapped at him and he raised his eyebrows at me while Meera glanced at both of us with a worried expression

"you mind your own business..I wasn't talking to you" jack or is it Zach said with a scowl which only made me scoff

"umm..Zach..I'm fine..just give us sometime " Meera said. He glanced at her with an assured look. His scowl was quickly replaced with a caring look .then he stared hard at me and I smirked.

He scoffed "I'll be back Meera" he whispered loud enough to hear him as he walked past me.not without the hard glare he threw at me

I flipped my middle finger at him still smirking at his retreating figure. Before I slowly turned my face to meet a paranoid Meera

She huffed.gulping down a glass of juice which was placed in front of her.

" Weldon mr.dozie.." she said sacarstically and I smirked

" I really hope he doesn't return here..he's an asshole "

She mumbled something before looking up at me again

" why did you call me ?" She asked. I bit my lips gently as I brought my eyes to hers.holding her gaze for some minute.then she looked away, biting her lips gently.

That little act got me rilling up, exploding alot of emotions within me.as I unconsciously let my eyes fall on her plum lips which was coated in the shiny pink lip gloss.

" you look beautiful. " I complimented and she shrugged, flipping her strands which made me laugh

" tell me something else..I already know that " she replied. Crossing her left leg over to the right one which showed off her straight legs effortlessly. I wondered how it would feel like to run my fingers through her legs

I gulped.trying not to let my gaze wander over to her legs. I brought my face to meet hers

" you look hot, sexy, gorgeous.. " I said and she had a big smile resting on her face until I added

Then bringing her face closer to mine with a small mischevious smile playing on her lips "oh well..who should I look slightly for and who should I dance for? you tell me "she asked, batting her long, thick eyelashes at me

I gulped, trying to control the erratic feeling of my heart.as I tried sputtering the words which won't just come out.

I groaned ruffling her hair in frustration

" stop it..you actually have a dirty mind" I said and she immediately scowled

" hey D " the familiar pitchy accent called me and I groaned. She came over to me with her usual smile resting on her lips as she linked her fingers with mine

" been looking for you.you left me to dance on my own..it got pretty boring" she whined

I glanced at Meera and just in time, I caught her stealing a glance at Fay's and I linked fingers. That minute fay choosed to notice meera

" Oh hi Meera " she greeted cheerfully.meera gave her a tight lipped smile before replying

" hi.Fay. I'm so suprised to see you here"

Fay shrugged " I know right.anyway, I would have loved to chit chat more but they're starting to play a game " she said.her eyes darting from me to meera

"aww.i think we should go join" meera said still with the fake smile at Fay who smiled widely

"sure let's go.c'mon D" she said in excitement.I mentally rolled my eyes as to the way she shortened my name. her hands were still laced in mine as we three made our way to the remaining people who weren't all wasted. We formed a big circle in a sitting position. Fay sat beside me on my left and Zach that asshole sat on my right.good thing was that he didn't get the chance to sit beside Meera cause she sat adjacent to where I was sitting

" so..what game do we start with ?" Lilly. A girl I barely knew asked

" let's play ten secrets "Adaeze suggested

" yes! " Angel quickly agreed.Osaro had invited them too infact he basically invited almost every person in SS3

" no.no one is playing ten secrets " Esther interjected and the party agreed with her

" it's more fun.." Angel whined

" that game is for when we are leaving school final final " Annette replied

" okay let's play truth or dare " Osaro said

" I'm in " Annette said out aloud and more people agreed

" but it never gets old " meera retorted "I'm in " she added and that got clara rolling her eyes at her.

" I'm in..I'm in " Ayo came around and meera sneered at him as he made his way to sit beside her

So basically we were a good number of people playing the T or D game. Including Fay and I.

" let's kick the bottle rolling!! " Esther exclaimed as she spinned the bottle and it landed on Angel

" T or D? " she asked Angel who bit her lips as if in deep thought

" T " she replied finally

" have you ever made out with your same gender ?" Esther ask and Sola's face scrunched in disgust

" eww.no " she replied as she spurn the bottle around this time it landed on Ayo

" I'm not a coward so D " he replied with a proud smile as which made a good number of people scoff playfully

" hmm Ayo..." she called.thinking of the dare to give him

" alright. I dare you to strip for ten seconds " she said finally

C'mon move it man !! The murmurs were rising quickly as some doubted if he would do it.

Ayo had beaten his chest in a funny way "watch me do it " he said proudly as the DJ tuned the music into Down and dirty _little mix. Everyone watched in anticipation as Ayo had subtly stripped his shirt off and just when he made to strip his trousers off, he paused

" abeg I'm not doing again..see them bad children " he taunted as everyone laughed.he spurned the bottle and it landed on meera

" MJ.." he called smirking while she gave him a brazen look

" D " she replied and everyone cheered

" so you want to play brave abi ?" Ayo asked smirking

" I'm brave itself. No need to act " she said with sass as she flipped her hair. My lips subconsciously twitched into a smirk

" I dare you to finish a bottle of vodka in five seconds " he said with a mischevious smirk

Meera looked wide eyed at him as he placed the vodka in front of her.I could feel her swearing under her breath at Ayo as he added

" your time starts now "

" you think I'm scared?" She asked with a brazen tone before she smirked "here we go"

She lifted the bottle to her lips as everyone as usual cheered at her.while she gulped the first round. She twisted her face before putting it again inside her mouth. This time without stopping as she gulped the contents down

" it's past five seconds!!!" Esther alerted and she immediately put down the bottle with a triumphant smile resting on her lips

" see !! " she exclaimed. Then suddenly made a whopping sound as she ran off to gag it out making everyone to actually laugh at her actions

" it's my turn to spin now " she said with a slurpy tone.the alcohol was already having it's effect on her. She spinned the bottle and it landed on Clara.

She actually joined the game.

" T or D?" She asked Clara.

Clara scoffed "I'm no coward so D " she said and meera sneered

" Clara I Dare you to lick the shoes of the person beside you " meera said

Aiish Meera nah some people muttered. Clara scowled

" Never " she spat

" you said you're not a coward " meera replied in a slurpy tone as she fixes clara a taunting gaze. clara huffed in annonyance. The person who sat beside her happened to be Zach

I stifled my laughter at his pale expression. Now I was so sure that it wasn't Meera who spoke to clara instead it was the alcohol.

Clara had successfully did her dare with her spitting in disgust.it was her turn now.she spinned the bottle and it landed on Fay. Clara smirked, her eyes trailIng from meera to me and then Fay

" T or D? " she asked fay who shrugged

" D "

Med ooh. Everyone is now claiming to be brave that was trust voice

" I dare you to kiss the person on your left for five minutes " she said and that minute everything seemed to stand still

I glanced at Fay. Poor girl had a happy expression on her face as she turned to face me.I unconsciously glanced at Meera who stared at both of us with a plain look.

With the accompanies of cheers and morale, Fay gave me one of those her sultry smiles.she gently placed her hands to rest on my chest as she brought her face closer to mine.just as she titled her head to one side, leaning in to place her lips on mine.I snapped her face towards the direction of where meera sat making Fay's lips to land on my cheeks.

Meera wasn't there anymore.I wondered where she had disappeared to. Fay's face twisted into a frown while clara smirked in triumph. Just then we heard the loud shrill sound of the megaphone, where the DJ was positioned

Thank goodness, Osaro's party was held inside his house and his walls were actually soundproof. Everyone directed their attention to the sound of the megaphone. I looked up and damn! It was meera who was calling their attention

She gripped the megaphone, titling her head to one side.she smiled

" hello everyone! " she called out in a slow , slurry tone

That's it.she was drunk

" I have ...a few..few things to say.." she slurred, staggering alittle. then without saying anything she pulled down her hair which she packed in an updo style, bringing the braids to her front as she striked a pose.

Damn she looked hot but then badly drunk..

Soon, she slowly took off her bag and threw it to God knows where and before anyone could say ace, she was already strip-dancing. I looked around and noticed some people bring out their phones to record what she was doing

I bit my lips as I walked up to her and forcefully pulling her with me.

" stop..it..I'm totally having...fun..." she slurred and then laughed.

" you've had enough fun meera..it's high time you get going " I said

" I'm...not...going...now " she whined

Fay came up to me

" is she okay..?" She asked and I gave her a curt nod.

" She's fine..i'll take her home " I replied and she nodded.

" lemme take her from here " Zack said and I shot him a glare

" thanks but no thanks " he rolled his eyes at me as Meera kept whining at me

" I'm not..going home now..." she protested while I punched the number of my driver to come pick us up.

" you're going now meera..you're drunk already " I said and as though I woke a sleeping lion, she sat up abruptly as she scrutinized me before breaking into fits of laughter

" who says I'm drunk..?" She asked. I said nothing to her as her laughter slowly died down

" see..you're saying nothing..." she wheezed out.

" Meera..." I called her softly as she chuckled

" oh he knows my name actually...but what do I do with him ?" She asked herself in her slurry tone

" Meera...you need to stay quiet okay " I said though a part of me wanted to fully hear whatever she was going to spurt out

" nahh..are you D ?" She asked with a mock tone and then laughed about it before her face morphed back into a serious look

" you could have just kissed her..you dumb idiot..after ignoring me for almost a week..then you show up and try make jokes with me when you already have your girlfriend ..maybe I'm the dumb idiot ...she paused and hiccuped like she was about to puke.then she continued again

" you stole my first kiss and then you said..it was a mistake..you're sorry...ahh you're really dumb..and I'm dumber for letting you talk to me and getting myself to give in to your jokes...c'mon never thought we'd have a relationship but..but " she whined the in the last part

That minute, Annette, sola, Ayo, Priye and Adam all came around.they too had a worried look

" God. I shouldn't have let her drink that vodka " Annette said in regret while Ayo looked so remorseful

" why did I even dare her that stupid dare sef ? " he asked himself while Meera looked up at them with a cute pout

" aww...did you guys know that I was robbed ?" She asked and for a second they stared at themselves in confusion

" She's drunk..badly " Adam said and she chuckled

" you too...aren't you the fine guy who i once crushed on ?" She asked and we all suddenly tensed up at her revelation. Especially Adam who looked so shocked

" MJ you really should stop talking now" Ayo said and she nodded in agreement. For a minute we all sighed in relief

" I want to puke..." she said again, Annette took her hands gently

" I'll take her from here while you guys wait for the driver " she said as she pulled meera along. Meera reluctantly followed then she stopped walking. Turning her attention to me

" you look good tonight...I mean you always look good " she said with a small smile

" oh well..we are both assholes..c'mon dozie you like me right ? " she asked and while Priye found this whole thing funny, sola was burying her face in embarrassment, Adam was staring at her with his mouth agape while Annette kept a blank expression.

I stared at her.did the alcohol have this much effect on her ?

" c'mon. Everyone knows you do like me..don't say you don't " she whined as she bit her lips gently with a small smile

" meera..I like you okay..but you need to keep quiet now.you've said enough" I said and and she pouted

" really..but I like you " she whined. I glanced towards Annette for help as she stared back at me

" I seriously don't know this drinking could be that bad for her..mehn this is some show " priye said laughing so hard

I rolled my eyes at him.but priye being Priye, he never cared if you did that so many times or even shot him your best death glare. He was still going to go on with whatever he was doing

" meera..okay I like you " I said and she smiled

" kiss me " I blinked my eyes at her.

Annette groaned and priye laughed harder while Adam still looked on with shock and disbelief, Sola had her face buried in hands

" what?" I asked again as meera smirked

" asshole. I knew you wouldn't do it " she said with a hiss

" but hey..let's this be our little secret..." she leaned in as if she wanted to peck my cheeks. She said in a whisper which was loud enough for anyone to hear

" I really like you too " she said and finally puked into my clothes.

The rest of the guys scrunched their face in disgust as I stared at her dumbfounded. She was cute tonight though. I surprisingly smiled at her actions . She really was something.

Just then, my driver swerved in and we help to carry her into the car.she had slept off already.
