Chapter 39: Chapter 39

*Feesh’s pov*

6:02am

My new alarm ringer woke up. I slowly opened my eyes.. the alarm for?

I sat up and switched on my iPhone. 6:05am. Oh my

God, I'm going to be late.

I glanced at Daisy who was peacefully snoring and lying on her face.. Her short white blonde hair looking tousled and messy. I didn't want to wake her up so I gently eased out of the bed and entered my small but neat bathroom.

I removed my pajamas and hanged it somewhere. I then picked out my favorite shampoo and washed out my long brown hair. Daisy has always loved my hair... Said it was a gift from God.

I started to laugh at my self. When I was little, most people called me a golden haired girl. You'll ask why?

Well my hair is not light brown and definitely not blonde.. It looks like a very dark shade of blonde, but has some shimmers in it making it look like gold. And yeah, I never dyed it that way.. Never. It annoys me a lot when people ask that question. Did you dye your hair gold?

Some people can be annoying any way.

I finished washing my hair and quickly took my bath.

When I got back into the room daisy was holding a way too short armless gown on her arms.

"Um.. Who has that?" I asked hoping it wasn't mine.

"Morning to you too Feesh, this is the dress I got for you. Don't worry it's not too short and I even got a nice blazer along with it in case if you feel uncomfortable with the.. You know... No arms."

"Daisy, this dress is too short. I'm not wearing this. I'll find someone else."

Her eyes widened as looked at me with disbelief "My God Feesh, nothing is fucking wrong with this beautiful, innocent and harmless dress. I think it's you something's wrong with... If you don't wear this then babe you don't have a job anymore because I won't let you leave here without this dress on you" she said with determination.

I stared at her in anger. I think I have no choice, I was the one who made the mistake of letting her pick for me.

One hour later.

"You look so hot and sexy baby girl, with this killer shape of yours" said an annoying Daisy.

I pulled the dress down a bit feeling very uncomfortable. The dress was above my knees... But not too short. I'll manage with this. Just remember to pull it down when you get there.

I thank God she even bought a jacket with it.

"Okay day... I'm going to do this. Just wish me luck and please don't tell mom yet about anything... Please"

She looked at me as if I wasn't even talking. I checked my watch. 7:15

"I think there's still time to eat something. Don't wanna go on an empty stomach" I said to daisy.

"I'll go prepare something for you. BRB."

"Ugh... Ma'am I'm pretty sure you're supposed to stop here. This is Grande corps." the driver said to me.

I looked up at the driver. "Oh thanks sir" I gave him a neat $2 before jumping out of the cab.

I stared at the building. It was so big and long. So what now? They're trying to make a tower to reach heaven?

I sighed... This is really a big thing.

I walked into the building and entered the reception. I walked up to a woman who was sitting at a corner and was typing on her laptop. I'm guessing she might be a receptionist.

"Hello good morning ma" I said, waving to her. She looked up and gave a tight smile. As if she didn't want to disturbed. But she answered with a clear voice.

"Hi there.. How may I help you?"

"Um.. I'm for the oral interview of the job I applied for. I was notified online that I got the job and should be here by 8:30 am this very day."

"Oh" her face seemed to light up a bit and she flashed a brighter and genuine smile.

"Oh I'm so sorry dear... Wow I'm so happy for you, you got the job... What's your name?"

"Feesh Mason ma" I answered with a smile.

“Oh just like the adventures of the Explorer" she giggled. I tried not to let my anger show. I wish i could kill my mom every time this comes up. Someone asks what's your name?

I really hate hearing that and I keep hearing it.. Just like now... Now..

"Uh... I love the name Feesh.." she must have seen expression on my face because she looked worried that she might have offended me.

I laughed lightly and said "Nah its fine ma, I hear that a lot"

She let out a relieved sigh "okay just take the elevator at the right over there and you'll meet someone who will interview you.." she said pointing to the place the elevators were. I sighed.. Can i do this?

"You'll be fine" the woman reassured me as if she saw my mind.

I smiled warmly at her "Thanks ma... And oh... I don't know your name..."

I trailed off thinking she might be offended for asking for her name.

"Oh! Silly me.. Sorry dear, I'm Emma washings..junior receptionist" she said before giving me a hug.

I headed up to the elevator.

"Hello,I'm Feesh Mason and I'm here for the job I applied for" I said to the lady. This must be other or senior receptionist. You could see it from her face alone. Ugh, too much make up, blonde curls scattering all over her shoulders making it look too full for her tiny face.

Oh and her boobs were practically out in the open... Oh my God, I dislike her already without even knowing her.

"Um... Miss?" I was really getting impatient now. Maybe I should just forget about the stupid jo—

"Yes..how may I help you this very very early morning?" she said finally looking up at me with a tired look..which swiftly stopped as she looked at my face she then looked me up and down and something flashed in her eyes.. Something close to disgust. Oh really?

I smiled at her but she didn't. She just rested her cheek on her knuckles.

"You applied for a job here?" she asked, a hint of amusement in her voice. She checked me out again.

God! I want to strangle her.

"Yes, I did" I answered firmly. "and I got a message saying that my resume met the qualifications for this job and that I should be here, this very day"

She smiled a oh-you're-so-dumb smile. "you weren't the only who was considered to get the job" she said smiling that smile again.

"Oh okay... So am I supposed to wait for my employer or..."

"Yeah, just wait over there... Where there are lots of girls like you who got the 'job'" she said using her fingers to quote.

I turned to go not trusting my self with words anymore.

"How can you be so dumb to dye your hair gold?" I heard her say. I stopped and turned. "excuse me?" I said firmly

"Your hair. What's the normal color.. Or is it gold?" she asked and laughed probably thinking I dyed it.

"That's none of your business miss" I said and walked away. I got to the line where the girls piled up. They were about 15 girls here. I can't believe I'm really here.

* * *

I've waited for almost an hour.. I'll be going real soon.

"Feesh Mason!?" as soon as I heard my name I jumped up and raised my hand above my head.

"Me!" I shouted.. But not too loudly.

I walked closer and saw a short pretty woman holding a file of papers close to her chest.

She smiled shortly. "please come with me for your interview" she said as she picked up her pace. I rushed forward, following her.

"Um.. Who'll be interviewing me?" I asked a little bit worried.

"No dear, the chief secretary will.. The boss is not around now"

I let out a breath... Whew the boss of the company must be some annoying dude if  I could guess.

I walked into the office and saw a man who looked to be about 45 or 50.

"Come in miss Mason" the man said calmly. "thank you sir" I said smiling my best smile.

He stretched his hand towards the chair in front of him. I sat down.

"Now tell me all about your self, and the reasons why you think you're good for this job."

Okay,this could go well.

I raised my head up to prepare my self and stopped short. Woah. Woah. This man looked like a piece of meat that any woman would be willing to chew. His eyes were bloodshot. Such a deep red that they scared her. He looked strange. Almost inhumane.

Wow.
