Sarah was dumbfounded when the goon suddenly pulled Stefan out and punched him. Sarah gasped and was about to get down, but she saw Stefan signaling her in no, and the next moment he started to beat the goons black and blue.

She was just relaxed when suddenly a goon was trying to open the door of her side, but fortunately, a hand stopped him. Sarah looked at the man who held the goon's hand and was shocked to see Ronald there.

"Sarah, don't come out, it's dangerous, so be inside don't worry, let me help Stefan," Ronald said earnestly and ran towards Stefan.

Sarah's breath stopped seeing that more goons have appeared from nowhere and both Stefan and Ronald increased their pace and sharpened their skills to deal with the goons.

Obviously, Stefan and Ronald were two, and the goons were eight they both were at a loss of manpower and the fight was getting tougher for them when suddenly the police arrived and before the goons could even try to escape, they were arrested.

"Officer, please let us go. We were just contracted by Stella Walter to attack Sarah and Stefan Walter and harm them severely."

Stefan and Ronald looked at each other in shock and Sarah had also stepped out of the car, being relaxed that the police had arrived. She was already scared, but just now the new had revelation shook her to the core.

How could that be, just some moments before when they were stepping out of the house Stella was so considerate towards her? Was she pretending?

Stefan clenched his fist, took two steps, and punched the goon hard.

"Don't talk nonsense." His knuckles were red, and the veins were bulging from his neck in order to control his anger.

The goon straightened his tilted head, wiped the blood at the corner of his lips, and said stubbornly, "I am not lying we were contracted, otherwise, why would we attack you people?"

Stefan took another step towards the goon with an intent to hit him again but Ronald held his torso from behind to stop him, whereas Sarah was standing near the car with a pale face and dumbfounded expressions.

"Why would one of our own family members get us attacked?"

This time Ronald said, clenching his teeth angrily, still holding Stefan by both his hands, who was trying to break free.

"Then how would I have known about Stella Walter, and you people's name. She had clearly said that she is jealous of your wife and couldn't tolerate you both in the family anymore, and that threatened her position in the family."

The goon was talking so confidently, and there were no traces of lies. Stefan and Ronald again looked at each other being confused, but inside the heart, they still didn't buy what the goons had just said.

Stefan turned and saw Sarah was already out of the car. She had not only heard everything but seemed like she believed them. Her face was pale, her breath was uneven. If she hadn't had held the edge of the car, she probably would have fallen down.

Stefan instructed Ronald to deal with it and walked towards Sarah to support her.

"Officer, please detain them. Even though they are contracted, they have tried to harm my brother and his wife, and regarding the members of Walter's family, investigate them and make sure they will confess the name of the contractor."

It's clear that Ronald didn't believe the goons, that Stella could harm Sarah like this, that too, being jealous. Even Stefan and Sarah have the same feeling.

"Don't worry, Mr. Walter, we know our job, and thank you so much to inform us on time." the Police officer said.

Stefan was confused to see Ronald suddenly, but being in the chaos he didn't get time to think, how did the police appear in that isolated place out of the blue, it turned out that Ronald is the one who had informed the police.

Sarah was even more dumbfounded and her head had started reeling. Stefan helped her to get inside the car, then stood there seeing Ronald and the police officer still talking.

"Make sure I want the criminal's name by today with all the necessary proof, no matter what source you use, I want the result."

Ronald gritted his teeth and said overbearingly, whereas Stefan found something amiss by Ronald's sudden appearance.

"Don't worry, Mr. Walter, I will make sure you will get the result by today hopefully with all the concrete evidence."

"Thanks a lot."

"Don't be so thankful, Mr. Walter, that's my job."

The Police officer and Ronald shook hands and the police left after handcuffing and stuffing the goons in the police van.

Ronald then turned and saw Stefan staring at him and Sarah also had a tentative glare at him, sitting inside the car.

"Ronald, what is going on, how did you come to know about this attack on us, and you not only came to help us but also informed the police?" Stefan asked in a sharp tone.

"Relax Stefan, just get in the car, I will tell you both everything." Ronald opened another side of the door for Stefan and he also hopped in the back seat of the car.

Stefan and Sarah swiftly turned around and raised their eyebrows at Ronald together.

"Now will you bother to say something?"

This time Sarah said in a sharp and loud voice, making both the guys feared by her anger. Since she had got pregnant, she was getting less tolerant and short-tempered frequently. What's more, today's heart-wrenching event had made her scared to the core, and now all this suspense created by Ronald was making her irritated.

Ronald gulped his saliva seeing Sarah's red face and sharp eyes and hurried to say what and how he knew about this designed accident.

"I heard somebody instructing the goons to follow you both everywhere, and when you will come back, the person had asked the goons to attack you both and make sure that Sarah loses her baby."

Sarah gasped and clenched Stefan's wrist in her palm, piercing her nails in it. Even though Stefan's knuckles had also turned blue and his veins bulge out on his forehead, he turned at Sarah and caressed her fist to calm her.

"Sarah, relax, nothing will happen to our baby."

Stefan knew what this pregnancy meant to Sarah, and losing the baby was the biggest fear of her life.

"Who is that person?" Stefan turned his head to Ronald after Sarah was relaxed and asked in a piercing tone. He couldn't wait to know the name of the criminal as he wanted to chop him limp by limp for even thinking to hurt his Sarah and their baby.

"Alright, I will tell you, but promise me you will not act rashly until the police summons the proof against them."

Ronald was talking considerately but got Stefan's sharp glare. "Tell me the name, now?" Stefan's glare pierced Ronald's skin; he was lucky that he was sitting in the back seat, otherwise, Stefan's punch would have landed on his face.

Ronald didn't take another minute and spit out the criminal's name hurriedly.

Stefan and Sarah's eyes were wide in shock.
