Ronald shook his head inwardly at Ashley's shrewd act but maintain his face indifferently.

Julia's heart tightened seeing Ashley is crying that too because of her son. She withdrew her gaze from Ashley's face dart it at Ronald and raised her eyebrows with a dark face, "Ronald, what is all this?"

"Mom, Ashley said she is not happy with me that's why I said if she wants we can divorce. Believe me, mom, we were not discussing divorce."

Ronald said calmly but Ashley sobbed and shed a few more tears, Ronald and Julia together turned their gazes and saw Ashley's pitiful face. Julia felt Ronald wronged her.

"But why Ronald, why she is not happy with you? You got married to her by your own will, nobody forced you so it's your responsibility to never let anything wrong happen with her."

Julia said strictly.

Now Ronald was wronged by these two women, his mom, and his so-called wife.

"Mom, at least you try to understand my situation. Just a few days before I came to know that whatever happened in my life was not Sarah's fault, it was somewhere between Ashley's fault and mine too. It was a blow for me, I need some time to come up from my miseries."

Ronald said with true emotions and Julia's sympathy turned towards her son.

"Ronald, if Sarah can move one, why can't you?"

Ronald and Julia frowned together at Ashley's demanding words, Ronald's face was already bitter, but Ashley's innocent face couldn't gain Julia's attention.

"Ashely, stop being unreasonable, Sarah and I are two different people and different emotions, she had dumped her feelings for me the day I got married to you and I realized my mistake after getting married to you. I need time to move or either take it or leave it."

Ronald said blankly spare a glare at Ashley and walked inside his room. Julia's heart ached to see her son in pain.

"Ashley, Ronald is correct, if you had accepted him wholeheartedly, then try to understand his inner turmoil."

"He was upset with the thought that Sarah eloped from her marriage and got married to you because you were trying to commit suicide, in fact, he saved you. Suddenly you confessed that Sarah was not a drug addict, but you misunderstood everything."

"Now if Ronald going through several ups and downs, then you were also responsible. I know you love him, but if you want him to reciprocate your love, then you have to give him some time. Don't force him to move on in haste otherwise, you will be accountable for your broken relation. I can only advise you, rest you are mature enough to make the right decision, take care."

Julia counsel her solemnly, pat her shoulder, and walked out of their room.

Ashley made ugly faces and mumbles sarcastically, "Huh all have tons of advice for me, but what about their own son, for every mother her son is always right and daughter-in-law is wrong."

Ronald listens to Ashely's mumble shake his head, stood up from bed, and walked out of the room.

"Ronald, where are you going?" Ashley yelled from behind, but neither Ronald stopped nor answer her.

As Ronald came out of his room, he noticed Stefan and Sarah passing through their residential area on stairs.

"Stefan," Ronald called him from behind and hurried his pace towards them.

Stefan and Sarah stopped at the stairs, and Ronald walked towards them. Ashely also heard Ronald's voice calling Stefan, now she can't sit idle.

'What is happening here, why is Ronald calling for Stefan, what if Sarah reveals my truth to Ronald, she even has evidence against me. I should check what is going on.'

Ashley also came out of the room to see what is going on between them and followed the trio who were walking towards Sarah and Stefan's bedroom.

"What's wrong Stefan, do you have something to say?" Stefan asked while walking towards their room.

"Yes, I want to talk to you about something."

"Alright, let's get inside and talk," Sarah said when they reached in front of their room.

Stefan and Ronald nod and all three moved inside Sarah and Stefan's room.

Stefan sat on the bed, Ronald sat on the couch and said to Sarah who was standing near the door, "Sarah, could you please lock the door?"

Sarah nodded and lock the door. Ashley who walked there fast, saw them closing the door, and frowned. She wanted to know what they are talking about, now she has no other way than try to eavesdrop on their conversation by standing at the door.

Sarah also walked towards Stefan and sat beside her, trio looked at the closed door and sighed, they all know what is going on outside the door.

"Yes, Ronald tells me, what's wrong."

"Stefan, I am in a dilemma, I can't able to decide what should I do with this Ashley? Please tell me shall I tell her exploits to the all-family members or try to forget the past and move on."

Ronald shook his head like disappointed in himself and continued, "the truth is none of the two options is easy, please suggest me something, what should I do?"

Even Stefan looked at him as he was disappointed in him. This matter solely belongs to Ronald, and only he has the right to make a decision. What will Stefan or Sarah suggest to him, if he can't do it for himself?

"Ronald, it's not any business-related matter that I will advise you which deal is the best, it's your personal life and only you have to make this decision, nobody else."

"I know that Stefan, but I can't make any decision, I am confused." Ronald held his head in his hand and said in a hoarse voice.

"Even though Ronald, it's your life and your decision. Nobody can meddle in your affair." Sarah said reasonably.

"I know Sarah, still I don't know to trust on Sarah or not? It's so confusing."

Stefan walked to Ronald and put a hand on his shoulder, "Ronald, I think you need to take a break from all this."

Ronald immediately lifts his head from the palm and looked at Stefan with expectations, "How?"

"Hmm, give me some time I will try to find some solution to your problem."

Outside of their room, Ashley was trying hard to listen to their conversation, but can't listen to anything because Stefan's room is soundproof.

Ronald nodded and stood up from the couch, Sarah also pats his shoulder from behind, "Don't worry, Ronald, everything will be alright soon."

Ronald nod with a gloomy face and fake smile, "It's late, I will go first, good night."

Ronald opened the door, and his eyes widen.
