Ronald stretched his right hand and signaled Valerie to keep her hand on his hand.

“Valerie, I know you must be confused like what is all this, but it’s not any dream, a truth. Valerie, I don’t know any cheesy lines to impress any girl and I don’t even know since when, but I am in love with you.”

“I love you from the bottom of my heart, I want to make you part of my life. Will you be mine forever, please don’t say no?”

Ronald’s words worked like magic on Valerie; it has captivated her heart. She was in so much trance that she couldn’t able to utter a single word and just nod her head in positive with teary eyes.

Ronald got up and wiped her tears with love. “No more tears; I just hate to see tears in your eyes. In fact, your first tears-filled eyes pulled me towards you.” Ronald said truthfully, thinking about the day when he was attracted to Valerie for the first time.

Valerie was overwhelmed and hugged him. At first, Ronald was surprised, but then he too hugged her back. Both were in a tight hug when they heard some giggling sounds.

“If you both are done shall we go down, it’s my baby’s welcome party today.”

That was Sarah’s voice. Both departed from the hug and saw not only Sarah, but Stefan, Stella, Jack, and Linda are also here and they all came out behind the curtains and teased Ronald and Valerie.

“How was my acting?” Linda winked at Ronald.

Valerie and Ronald become shocked. “Was that all your plan to trick us?” Ronald asked.

All nodded their head cutely.

“Then thanks to all of you, because of you all I got my love.” Ronald smiled gleefully and circled his arm around Valerie’s shoulder. She smiled shyly, then suddenly she hugged Sarah and few drops of tears fell from her eyes.

“Thank you so much Sarah I know this was all planned by you.”

That was an adoring moment all were captivated. Then Stella back to her senses first and realize its party in the evening.

“Now when the major episode is over, let’s get down Sarah has to get ready for the party, and you all too.”

All nod in yes and was about to go but Ronald said. “You all go we are coming in five minutes.”

“We? You and who, Ronald?” Jack teased him.

“Jack, it’s me and my brother. He loves me the most, right Ronald?” Stefan grabbed Ronald’s neck, circling his arm, and raised his eyebrows towards him. Stella, Sarah, and Linda chuckled seeing the fun and banter of the brothers.

Ronald frowned on his brother teasing and Valerie giggled shyly.

Sarah and Stella noticed their husbands were not in a mood to let their brother go, so they dragged them from there.

“Both of you stop teasing them.” Sarah scolded them and they all left from there leaving a giggle sound behind them.

Ronald saw Valerie still giggling, and he pulled her through her waist. “Why are laughing so much?”

Valerie strike with his chest and her heart missed several beats because of his proximity. She felt butterflies in her stomach.

“Ronald, what are you doing, anybody will see. Let me go.” Valerie wiggled.

“All the devils are gone, now nobody will see,” Ronald said lovingly, but he noticed sweat drops on Valerie’s forehead and realized her nervousness, so he let her go.

“I want to give you something.” He held her hand.

“What?” Valerie was shy. She said in a low voice that was barely hearable.

Ronald fetches a small velvet box from his pocket and took out a beautiful diamond pendant that has VR carved on it in the center and was bold.

He made her wear a pendant romantically, and Valerie couldn’t control her tears being overwhelmed.

Ronald was adoring her pendant when he again saw her teary eyes, which made him frown. “Valerie, I told you I hate tears in your eyes. If you dare to shed tears again, you will be punished.”

When Ronald was wiping Valerie’s tears, she held his hand. “Ronald, this pendant is so beautiful that I can’t even express it, but I bought nothing for you,” Valerie said with a sad face.

“That’s good then. I can take anything from you, as I want.” Ronald said to cheer her up, and smartly concealed his naughtiness.

“What?” Valerie asked innocently.

Ronald leaned towards her face and looked towards her sexy tempting lips and the next moment he kissed her, tasting strawberry pink lips. Valerie also reciprocated.

They were enjoying the sweet moment when Ronald’s phone beeped, receiving a message. He didn’t show any interest in his mobile; then within a few seconds, Valerie’s phone beeped. Both let go of each other and looked at their phone.

“Your 5 minutes are over, come down.” Ronald has a message from Stefan. Valerie has received the same message from Sarah.

“Valerie, let’s go down. I want to talk about us to my mom and fix our marriage date, now I can’t live without you.”

“Ronald, please wait, I want to say something to you if you don’t mind.”

Valerie held Ronald’s hand and whispered. Ronald looked at her and nodded his head.

“Ronald, I love you too as you do, but marriage, I need some time,” Valerie said hesitatingly.

“It’s ok Valerie, I don’t have any problem.”

“Ronald, it’s not about a few days or few months, I want a few years.”

Obviously, Ronald was shocked by such a decision, but he asked nothing.

“Valerie, I will not ask your reasons behind such a decision, because I trust you, like my soul. Still, you know how my family is.” Ronald held her cheeks and said lovingly.

Valerie majors six years ago then before she could do anything she has a lethal accident and then she was comatose till five years, obviously, she has a feeling that she left far behind from the world. She wanted to match her steps from this world.

“Yes, Ronald, I can understand family comes first. But as you know about my past when I was comatose, and it has wasted my 5 precious years. I just need time to match myself with the world and do something to make myself proud.”

Ronald held her shoulder and said, “I can understand and I promise you we will only get married when you want.”

Valerie looks towards being overwhelmed, and hugged him again.
