Sarah looked at the departing figure of Stefan and Ronald, sighed, and turned towards Valerie.

Valerie knew she was here to convince her to stay back, but she had already made her mind to move out. That's why she wanted to deny, but before she could say anything Sarah cut off her words.

"Valerie, before refusing to stay back in Walter's palace, please listen to me peacefully.

"I can understand that you are a very self-sufficient human being, and you don't want anybody's favor, still if you want to work, then why don't you work in either Walter or the Phoenix industries? Now don't deny this."

"But Sarah........."

Sarah again cut Valerie off, as she was trying for an excuse. "Valerie be smart. It's better to be with family and friends rather than live alone in a dormitory. I and Stefan are your friends and now Ronald is also friends with you. Trust me, Walter's family is a fantastic and a very loving family."

Sarah's words were very spirited for her family, and Valerie saw the glimmer in her eyes when she spoke about her family.

Valerie seemed confused seeing Sarah persuading. Then she thinks for a while and answered firmly. "I know everything, but, Sarah, I want to be independent. I don't want to depend on anybody and get a job just because I am a friend of the president of the company. I don't want to build myself with anybody's favor."

"Don't worry, nobody will favor you because of your relationship with the Walters.

"You will only get the job after a proper interview and regarding the money it's my suggestion that you don't use your Fixed Deposit amount, save it, for your future."

Sarah said kindly and kept her hands on Valerie's sweaty hand in assurance.

Valerie was in a dilemma. Sarah was asking her to stay back so kindly, but her self-respect had wanted her to move out. Then she answered thoughtfully. "Sarah, let me think about it peacefully, before deciding."

"Sure, take your time, but remember, until and unless I will be at ease in my heart regarding your decision to go from here, I will not let you go out from Walter's palace, did you hear me? Now unpack your stuff and take some rest."

Sarah stroked her cheeks after ordering her and walked out of the room. Valerie sighed, watching the back of the departing Sarah, and admired her aura. She truly deserved to be the wife of president Stefan Walter.

On the other side, when Sarah had asked Stefan and Ronald to leave the room, Ronald was eager and was talking impatiently to Stefan

"Stefan, I am telling you, if Sarah won't be able to pursue Valerie for not going, then I will not let her go just like that."

"Ronald, I don't understand why you are being so impatient. Sarah was just trying to help you, rather than be grateful to her you are slandering her."

"Then why did she meddle in this matter being a savior of mine and chased me out of the room. I was also trying to pursue Valerie, didn't I?" Ronald didn't really realize what he was blabbering in his anxiousness.

Stefan rubbed his temple, feeling a headache. "You know what, it's a waste of time to talk to you."

Just then Stefan saw Sarah is coming, and he moved towards her, leaving Ronald behind. Ronald hurriedly followed him.

Before anyone of them could say anything Sarah said authoritatively to Ronald, "Ronald after two days arrange for a fake interview for the post of your PA and select Valerie among all the candidates. From now onwards, she will work with you and you have to take care of her. Did you get it or not?"

Sarah raised her eyebrows, and Ronald nodded. Then Sarah walked past them and left them alone.

Ronald was excited, and Stefan got shocked.

"Ronald's personal assistant? What the hell is going on?" Stefan mumbled and walked after Sarah.

"Sarah, what was all that?"

"Stefu, you are such a dumb," Sarah answered nothing but commented to him.

What I am dumb and what the hell is this, Stefu?

Stefan held Sarah's hand and stopped her. "Now you tell me first, why are you calling me from this weird name 'Stefu' for many days, and why did you call me dumb? Regarding what you are talking about?"

"I really can't stop myself from calling you Stefu whenever I find you cute," Sarah said with a naughty smile.

"Sarah, don't call me cute. I am not cute; did you get it?" Stefan chided, getting irritated.

"Yes, you are cute, my cutie, cute, cute, cute." Sarah pulled Stefan's cheeks and not only called him cute again but chanted it, making him more irritated.

She can't help it. It's all about her mood swings, making her act so childish many times. Right now, she was only adoring her smart, handsome husband, who looks more attractive when he was domineering.

Stefan shoved her hands away from his cheeks and said, "Sarah, please, don't call me cute anymore, neither I am cute nor dumb. Did you get it? If you will say it one more time, then you will pay for it."

"Pay? How?" Sarah said in a flow and then realized that her question was not appropriate, but it was too late. Stefan pulled her behind the pillar near their room, pinned her, and kissed her.

"Now, did you get it how can I make you pay, or do you want to know more ways to pay?" Stefan said ambiguously, which made Sarah's eyes widen in shock.

'I have already understood, and was so dumb to ask it to you.' Sarah thought, looking at Stefan with horrified eyes.

"I hope, now that you realized who is dumb?" Stefan whispered in Sarah's ears, seems like he had read her thoughts. Sarah had the feeling of being a dumbass.

When Sarah said nothing and was still in shock, Stefan's lips curled into a naughty smirk for being so affective for Sarah, just by one kiss and she had lost all her senses.

"I guess now since you have realized the truth then let it go, I will not punish you anymore, not even at night in our bedroom."

Sarah got back to her normal senses after listening to the last line of Stefan. She irritably pushed him, who was to keep on teasing her seeing her in a daze.

"Hush......."

Stefan started laughing while Sarah's face turned red in shyness, and the next moment he took her in his embrace and did not want to tease her anymore.

"I know Ronald has some feeling for Valerie and that's why you have made this arrangement to let them spend some more time together and get to know each other better."

Stefan whispered solemnly near Sarah, and she felt proud of him.

"Yes, they both are kind souls, but heartbroken because of the failure of their first love for different reasons. They both can heal each other's wounds, but they need some time, especially Valerie. She can't accept a new relationship right now."

"I am proud of your consideration." Stefan praised Sarah truthfully.

Sarah was on the ninth cloud after being praised. She pulled her collars up proudly and Stefan smiled dotingly seeing his wife's antics.

Sometimes she behaves maturely, and the next moment is stubborn like a 3-year-old kid. The pregnancy is actually showing so many shades of her.
