Chapter 101: Chapter 101

Valerie and Carol heard Stefan's voice and turned around.

Valerie's enthusiasm dissipated when she saw beside Stefan, Sarah was also moving towards them holding Stefan's hand.

Valerie consoled her emotions and pulled a wide smile onto her face. "Hey, Stefan, good morning, merry Christmas and Sarah to you too."

Both Stefan and Sarah looked at each other and smile towards Valerie. "Good morning Valerie and merry Christmas." Both said in unison.

Valerie ignored Sarah and approached Stefan. "Stefan, you could have told me, I would accompany you for the morning walk."

Valerie has ulterior intentions in mind, she wanted to spend time with Stefan so that she can find out what in his heart.

Stefan neither has such feelings in his heart for Valerie, nor he realized Valerie still has ambiguous thoughts for him.

Valerie's approach puzzled him and does not find any excuse to answer Valerie.

Sarah saw his depression and handled the situation.

"Valerie, do you know, you are weak and need good rest. You recuperate first, get well fast, and then you can join us. Morning walk is our daily routine."

"Whether it is a storm outside, earthquake, the volcano erupts or it is the tsunami, we can't skip our morning walk, isn't it?" Sarah looked at Stefan and said while clenching her teeth.

Sarah's emphasized words were full mockery but bounced above Valerie's head, she didn't understand anything.

Everybody chuckled, listening to Sarah's taunt because they all witnessed several fights between Sarah and Stefan over the morning walk, and at last Sarah's foul mood.

Stefan only sighed and rubbed his forehead.

Valerie just nodded to Sarah and smiled, but her eyes were constantly checking every action of Stefan.

Ronald was randomly looking, but his gaze fell on Valerie and then he noticed her gaze on Stefan and something in her eyes was deep. He has a fear for Sarah and Stefan.

Just a few days before, Ronald had a deal with a physio lover and could get one's gaze when it has such kind of feelings. Valerie's gaze was so close to it.

Sarah looked at Valerie's different gaze but didn't let it affect herself, she then called a servant, asked her to bring something from her room. That was the gift that she gave to Valerie.

"Valerie, merry Christmas."

It surprised Valerie to see Sarah give her a Christmas gift. She is the only person this year who had given her a Christmas gift. Valerie's nose turned sour.

At first, she was hesitant, but she didn't reject a Christmas gift. "Thank you so much, Sarah."

Sarah's generous act moved everybody, but Stefan was especially sweet in his heart because his angel made him proud again.

Now only Valerie got what is so special about Sarah and why she is so loving in a family member's heart. There would be no woman in the world who welcomes her husband's ex into her family, not only force her to stay but also exchanges Christmas gifts with her. Sarah is really exceptional.

At the breakfast table, when almost everybody finished their breakfast they didn't get but watched milk war keenly.

Today Stefan was pissed off because of Sarah's stubbornness. "Sarah, please, drink it." Stefan once again forwarded the cup of warm milk to Sarah. He was pursuing Sarah to drink the milk for so long but she is denying straightforward.

Sarah again sided with the cup of milk and said, "No, no, no."

Stefan being tired, sighed and said in a hoarse voice, "Sarah, did you forget, you promised something to me this morning?"

Sarah didn't really realize, again, floated with Stefan's emotional blackmailing.

Her eyes filled with tears again when she held her ears to apologize. "I am sorry Stefan."

After apologizing, Sarah didn't take more than a second to take the cup of milk and within the next few seconds, she gulped it down.

The entire family member's eyes came out of the socket in shock. What is this happening in the family and what got into Sarah's head that she gulped down the milk only in a few minutes?

Stefan looks at everybody with a triumphant smile, everybody got Stefan has dealt with Sarah's emotions.

After some time, Stefan got ready to go out for some work when Sarah was busy chitchatting with the other women of the family.

She was excited about something and told everybody some long stories.

Stefan informed Sarah that he will be back soon and was about to go out when Valerie called him from behind, making him stop.

"Stefan, please wait."

"Yes, Valerie, what can I do for you?"

"Stefan, as you know, I came here with nothing with me. I actually do not even have the necessary stuff for daily use. Can you please take me shopping, only if you don't have any problem?" Valerie asked without any hesitation.

"Oh, come on Valerie, don't be so formal with me, alright? I will take you for the shopping, it's not a big deal." Stefan said with a light heart, he still has guilt for Valerie and by helping her he wants to obliterate it.

Valerie felt thrilled in her heart when she got the chance to spend some time alone with Stefan, but before they can walk out of the palace Amy called Stefan.

"Stefan, please wait."

"Yes, mom, what can I do for you?"

"Stefan, I just heard you are taking Valerie shopping, then please take Sarah also along with you two. She actually wanted to buy some stuff related to winter. Alright, please take her with you. Let me call her."

"Sarah, can you please come here?" Amy was joyous to call Sarah, how could she let Stefan go out alone with Valerie? Since Valerie came back into Stefan's life, Amy is the one who is most fearful for Sarah and Stefan's relationship. Even more than Sarah.

"Yes, mom?" Sarah came to Amy and asked.

"Sarah, weren't you saying you wanted to buy some piece of stuff for winter? Stefan is going shopping with Valerie, please join them, darling."

Sarah was already in a good mood, now she also got the chance to go shopping, which she like so much, she immediately nodded her head up and down. "Sure mom, I want to go."

"Then get ready and go with Stefan and Valerie, alright."

"Thank you so much, mom." Sarah excitedly hugged Amy. "Stefan, wait. I will be back in two minutes," Sarah said and ran upstairs.

Valerie's face hung down, thinking now when Sarah will also be with them, then she will not get alone time to talk to Stefan, and to find out what is in his heart.
