Chapter 3: Chapter 3
-You need to be there-
This is my new life in the new school. I am constantly picked at and being called with different names, such as ugly duckling, teacher’s pet and all kinds of nasty words. But I have reached to the point where it didn’t bother me anymore. I was immuned from it.
“Almira, there would be an examination today.” One of my classmates scoot over towards the chair in front of me.
“Why? Do you want to get a copy of the answers from me?” I smiled at him meticulously. He just simply nodded and smiled in return. “Sorry, not available today. Unless, you could pay me for it, I can make an exception.” I said.
“Puff, nevermind.” He simply rolled his eyes over me and quickly returns to his seat.
I looked away outside and continues to observe how busy the school ground was. There are so many students running all around during break times and they are so entertaining to watch, most especially Kalel.
“Okay class, get a one-whole sheet of paper and prepare for a long quiz.” Everybody was shocked. The room started to get noisy as everyone is busily complaining about the sudden announcement. Our science professor is known for having a very bad temper and being terror to all her classes.
“Okay, Ms. Villariba could you please write this one on the board.” She asked. I timidly got up on my chair and proceeded to writing on the chalkboard.
I was in the middle of writing when someone suddenly pops up on the door. And I was a little bit flustered of what I saw. A Chinese hunk was standing in front of the classroom door while directly staring at me.
“Are you the President of this class” he asked me while trying to catch his breath.
“Yes I am the President of this class. May I know why?” I curiously asked.
“The badminton club President wants to see you right after the class” I was left blank for a couple of seconds before my mind could finally think through.
“You mean, Kalel?” I nervously said.
