Chapter 1: Chapter 1
It is clear and sunny that time. I woke up early and got ready for school early as usual since I am a Supreme Student Council president. It’s a big no-no for us to be late. When the bell rings I am already sitting on chair holding that thick Geology book. So therefore, the word late isn’t on my vocabulary.
After my class, I immediately go to our SSC quarters. This is my hideout during my short breaks and lunches. This is the place where I get to have time answering my assignments, doing my projects and all other stuffs, including those that are very insane and crazy ones. Like having a fashion show if no one is around.
“Psst, Marla, you’re drooling yourself all over Kalel again.” my friend Rhea surprisingly pops up on my back that’s why immediately turned my gaze away and frowned.
“Of course not, why would I even bother to look at him. I was just looking at the students playing on the ground.”
“Can you even lie properly? That look, that eye. That’s all for Kalel.” She immediately sat beside me. This is why I don’t like having Rhea around while I am day dreaming of beautiful things. She just completely ruins my mood of doing so.
“Okay fine, you caught me. He’s really handsome. How I wish I would be his girlfriend just for once.” My eyes were sparkling while speaking to my friend. And I was really wishing of that thing to be granted.
“You wish sis, you would probably be betting the entire planet than tat thing would be happening. And besides, he had a very beautiful girlfriend always clinging beside him. That campus princess Jellia, the fact that she was not just pretty but also popular around the campus. Then, look at you sis, you are a woman but you act not like one. You’re geek, not feminine and no sense of style. You look like a forced-woman ho ahs taken half surgery.” I frowned and looked at myself while Rhea was describing me. Am I that unattractive?
“Besides, Jellia is famous, you’re not sis. You’re also very strict with everyone that’s why no one dares to approach you. All students around are even frightened by the way you look.”
“That’s because they really didn’t understand the true meaning of responsibility. I rolled my eyes on her. Rhea really didn’t have the stops signs on her mouth while she was talking, she’s not pretty as well, she even had a bunch of acnes around her face.
Just wait and see, I’ll be prettier soon. I silently murmured.
“That’s why it’s a wish right? Wish, duh!” I just turned away from her and continues to fantasize Kalel from afar who is busy playing with his favorite sport, badminton.
Honestly, I had been liking Kalel ever since I entered in this school. It’s almost three years but even an inch of improvement with my relationship status with him isn’t moving at all. I always do things that would make him impress. I entered all of the school clubs just to get his attention, always on the top of the class. But I guess it doesn’t work that way, that’s why I just suit myself by staring and admiring him from afar.
