Chapter 23

He walked towards her with slow yet steady steps making her heartbeat go wild..

His hand went to her waist as he jerked her close to himself she placed her hand on his chest to balance herself..

He leaned closer to her and she breathed heavily shutting her eyes..his breath fanned on her neck she thought he would going to kiss her there..

"I can't believe Ariya you stoop so low" he whispered in her and moved back..

She opened her eyes with a jerk and looked at him with confused expression..

"Aap kya keh rahe hai Arhaan? (What are you speaking Arhaan)" She asked perplexed..

"I am not giving you attention that's why you are doing this cheap stunts, you are trying to seduce me !! Am I right ariya?" He accused..

"Arhaan..I" he didn't let her speak "you know that it's my time of coming home that's why you came out of the restroom wrapping this small towel"

"What you think Ariya huh that I will come to you loosing my control and ended up in bed and then you will make me feel guilty that I did bad with you and took your advantage" he shouted at last making her flinched..

"I am sorry" she whispered picking her clothes..she was trying very hard to control her tears but he blocked her way...

She looked down as few tears rolled down from her cheeks..

"Don't you dare to do this type of cheap stunts again Ariya..you are here just for few days so stay in your limits and stay away from me" he warned..

She didn't utter a word and ran inside the washroom pushing him..

Closing the door she sat on the floor with a thud and started crying..she muffled her sobs by palming her mouth as she don't want him to accuse her again..

She couldn't believe that he said those words to her..

She wiped her tears harshly and washed her face.. taking a deep breath she wore her outfit and went out..

She found him sitting on the couch using his phone..."it will be really good if you stop staring at my face like a creep..go down daadi must be looking for you"

She didn't say anything and took the ointment from the table and applied it on her burnt hand..she bite her lips to control the pain as she don't want him to say she was acting..

"I said go down Ariya" he shouted still looking at his phone he didn't notice that she was applying ointment in her injured hand..

He looked up and found her applying ointment in her hand..he wanted to go her and helped her but he stopped himself and went to restroom..

She went downstairs and straightly to the kitchen.. she found usha was cutting the vegetables..

"Daadi you don't need to do this I'll manage" she said to her..

"Actually I want to help my daughter in law that's why" she winked at her "and I am not that old mujhe kaam karna aata hai (I know how to do household works)" ariya chuckled and nodded..

Usha looked at Ariya as she was cooking silently.. After observing her for a min she finally asked "Is everything fine between you and Arhaan" usha's question startled her..

"Yea.. yeahh everything is.. fi..ne" she stuttered looking here and there.m

"I know you are lying Ariya and I won't gonna force you to say anything but just one suggestion if you are at fault then just apologize and end this instead of destroying a beautiful relationship" usha said "I will going so say the same thing to him also if he is at fault then he should also apologize"

"No daadi it's not his mistake it's mine I am at fault" she said softly looking down..

"It's ok baccha we are humans we made mistakes but we should also repent it on time rather than living in guilt" usha said caressing her cheek..

"You are the best" Ariya exclaimed giving her a hug..

"Please give this coffee to Arhaan and tell him that daadi send this" Ariya said to the butler...he nodded..

After dinner..

She stepped inside the room after talking with daadi..she found Arhaan was sitting on the bed with his iPad..

Sighing she went to restroom and changed into night wear after brushing her teeth..she went out..

She found him making the pillow wall...she already decided that she won't going to sleep on the bed after what he said..

She picked her pillow and other duvet when he asked "where are you going taking all these?" He asked and she ap looked at him..

"You told me to maintain distance from you that's what I am doing obeying your order" she replied and placed her pillow on the couch.. she laid down pulling the duvet over her head..

Next morning..

Ariya was the first one to wokeup.. she sat up stretching her hands and legs yawning..

Her eyes travelled to Arhaan who were still sleeping.. she gazed at his face for minute then stood up..

After taking out her outfit she went to restroom to take a shower..

Ariya's Pov..

I came out after wearing a yellow long dress and started blow drying my hair..my eyes travelled to Arhaan he was still sleeping..I combed my hair and filled my hairline with vermillion..I did little makeup and wore my earrings..my eyes travelled to my red bangles..mom told me that married women have to wear this red bangles for a year which I didn't oblige.. sighing I started wearing my red bangles.

Ariya Arhaan Mehra you are looking so pretty...

I flip my hair back and pout..I made cute faces and boommmm my eyes widened as I looked at Arhaan through mirror he was already up and looking at me with wide eyes..

Mother Earth please swallow me this is so Embarassing..

Ariya's pov..

Sunrays hit my face and I wokeup...my eyes widened as I saw Ariya is she mad or what? She was making baby faces looking herself in mirror..well she is a baby only..

Her eyes widened as she saw me already up..she was embarassed..

She turned towards me and I looked at her.. Indeed she is the most beautiful girl..her outfit and her way for carrying herself wass just perfect..my eyes stopped at her front the cut in her outfit giving the view of her upper abdomen..

Ughhh control Arhaan..I get off from the bed and went to restroom groaning in my mind..

We all are going to Mehra's Beach House to enjoy short vacay... We'll going to stay there for two days ...

Mom, dad, dii, jiju, ahana, geet everyone were accompanying us..

Daadi and dadoo already left with mom and dad..

Only younger clan left...

Stepping out of the mansion I saw Arhaan was standing with sneha in his arms and sneha was telling something to him in her toddler voice which he was listening very calmly while geet riyan and Ahana were busy clicking selfies...

"Finally Ariya you here" dii said as soon as she saw me walking towards them..

"Oh My God jeejs and Ariya twinning and all huh" geet said and teasing manner..

I glared at her as If telling her to shut up..

"Damnn you both are looking so beautiful together" Ahana said and I muttered some curses under breath..

Yeah we were wearing same colour outfit that is yellow..

"We are getting late" Arhaan said in his hard voice..

Arhaan sat on the driving seat and riyan on passenger.. dii,jiju and sneha settled in the middle seat while we three besties at back..

"How are you? How's everything?" Geet asked in hushed tone..

I looked at Arhaan he concentration was full on driving..

"Fine"I mumbled lowly his previous evening words have hurted me..I wasn't even fault that day..

"Everything will be alright ariya" ahana said giving my hand a gentle squeeze...

I smiled at her..

"I love you both" I said and they both hugged me to tightly kissing either sides of cheek..

"Oh My God what's these girls doin" riyan said turning towards us..

Dii and jiju chuckled seeing us..

"Guys leave me I can't breathe" I said as they literally squeezed me..my eyes travelled to Arhaan I looked at him through mirror he was smiling..

"Geet and Ahana meri choti se bhabhi ko chorde waise hi bohot kamzor hai (geet Ahana leave my small sister in law she is very weak)" riyan said to her..

They loosened their hold on me and I sighed in relief..
