Parth's POV

I saw her parents and went to them. I touched their feet, her mom blessed me instantly and he gave a nod.

" Where is Riya?? " Her mom asked.

" She is at my home, with my grandfather. They are waiting for you. " I said.

" Hmm... We need to book two rooms in a decent hotel. " He said.

" Don't worry, sir. All the arrangements have been made. " I said.

" Why would you make the arrangements? I will do that for my family. " her dad said in a high tone.

" Come with me, sir. My grandfather is too excited to meet you. " I said changing the topic.

" So are we, beta. " Her mom said politely. I took their bags from them.

My bodyguard took them from me and started walking away with their bags to our car.

" Who was he? " her dad asked me.

" Driver!! "

" Ok, let's go!! " He said finally. He looked at the car suspiciously. Though I had asked my bodyguard to take the simplest car so that the attention of people is not drawn towards it. Or I would have had to take more security. So he brought his own car.

" Whose car is it?? " He asked.

" My friend's... "

" Hmmm ok! "

We were about to reach the palace when her mom requested to stop the car at a good sweet shop.

My bodyguard stopped the car on one of the best ones.

I had to go inside with them. The owner recognised me and got up immediately.

" Jai Jai, Hukum! Padharo sa!! ( Welcome, sir) " I just nodded and smiled.

" Yeh hamare guest hain. Achchi si mithai dijiye. (They are my important guests, please give your best delicacies.) " My bodyguard whispered to him.

" Certainly, sir! "

Her mom selected the sweets and we're waiting for him to get them packed.

" Ma'am, sir please come and sit in the car, he will get all of them packed. " He paid for the sweets and we came out.

We came out of the city and her dad looked at me with shock.

" Where are you taking us?? " He asked me.

" To my place, sir. "

" How far is your home from the city?? And why does he live so far away? " He asked.

" What do I say, sir. You can ask him yourself. " I replied.

We could see our palace now. Her mom said that it was looking so good, she would like to see it before she goes back home. I smiled at that.

" Sure ma'am, I will personally give you a well-guided tour to this palace," I said. She smiled warmly at me.

My bodyguard turned the car on the road which led to the palace. The doors were open and the doorman bowed at me.

" Where is he going?? We want to meet our daughter and your grandfather first. We don't want to see the palace right away. " Her dad said with annoyance

" Wait for some time, sir! We are going to meet them.

" Have you lost your mind? "

" No, sir! We are going to meet them. "

" Here?? "

" Yes sir! "

" Where are they?? "

" Inside, waiting for us. "

" Do you even have permission to go inside?" He asked and my bodyguard looked at me I just nodded.

" In the palace? Why can't we go to your place? I want to see the place where your grandfather lives. " He said.

" He lives here! " I replied.

" What?? " He asked and I nodded. But he was confused. Just then he saw that it was a hotel too.

" Oh, it is a five-star hotel? He lives here?? Do you think, I am mad?? Who lives at a five star?? Don't tell me you don't have a decent house, that's why you brought me here. Isn't it?? And you compare yourself to Vidyut?? He belongs to a good and well-settled business family." Her dad said. My bodyguard looked at me, I just smiled.

Before I could say anything, my grandfather's most trusted man came with many servants and welcomed them in our traditional way.

" Welcome sir, ma'am. Hukum is waiting for you. This way please!!"

" Hukum?? Who is he? " Her mom asked.

" Raja Surya Pratap Rajwanshi, the grandfather of Kunwar Parth Rajwanshi. " He replied.

" Kunwar?? Means... He is... " Riya's dad was shocked to hear that he looked at me with surprise. I just smiled.

" Yes, he is the prince of this state and owner of the palace, hotel and many other such smaller palaces which have been converted into hotels. Hukum owns almost the whole of the city. " He told them. Her parents looked very shocked.

Her dad excused himself and came to me and asked me to come aside.

" Why didn't you tell me?? " He asked me.

" Because I wanted to ask for her hand in marriage. I love her. Sir, I am quite capable of taking care of her even without all this. I earn handsome money as a doctor as well. But I told you that money is an important thing but not the most important thing in life, love is. She would not be happy even if she would marry a king if they don't love each other. I love your daughter please allow me to marry her. " I said.

" Let me meet your grandfather and then we will see. Don't think that I would say yes only because you are a king. I need to talk to your grandfather, if I like him and if I feel that his behaviour is good with my Riya and she would be well accepted and happy here, then I will think." He said and I smiled and hugged him.

He was surprised at that.

" Let's go inside. " He said.

" Beta, you are a real prince? This is your palace?? So is that why you said you will personally show it to us? " Her mom said with a warm smile. I had always liked her. She was as sweet as any mom can be.

We all went in and saw Dado sa and Riya were talking like good friends. They both were laughing.

The moment she saw her parents she got up and rushed towards them. They both seemed pleased to see her happy. They greeted my grandfather. And my grandfather welcomed them.

" Welcome to my humble abode, Mr and Mrs Verma. I hope you had a comfortable journey. " Dado sa said.

" Thank you very much, Raja Saheb. " Her dad said. He looked happy now.

The tea and snacks were served immediately. I was sitting on the sofa next to hers. She gave me a plate with snacks served on them but I shook my head as I was a bit tense.

They all were talking about random things and I wanted to tell them to come to the point.

" I was waiting to meet you since Parth told me about Riya. I met this sweet and beautiful girl. I must say, you have given very good value to her. She is a beautiful person altogether. I am glad that my grandson found such a good girl. I was worried about him as he lost his parents and younger sister in a terrible accident. I tried to keep myself sane. I am also very thankful to Jindal's family who treated him as his family." He said.

" I am sorry about your loss, Raja Saheb. " Her dad said.

" Thanks, I will come straight to the point now. All this belongs to Parth, as he is my only heir. I can assure you, that he is a very eligible bachelor with good values and characteristics. Many people from different Royal families are dying to get their daughters married to him. But he is madly in love with your daughter. Mr Verma, I really liked your daughter Riya, she is a very sweet girl. I would be very happy if you also give them your blessings. Feel free to ask him anything. You have every right to ask him anything you want. " Dado Sa said.
