The Seekers

Three of them sat and had some brunch that Mary brought. .

Frank was hesitant to leave everything as it was.. He thought

that it was dangerous to expose anyone else.

In fact, he was worried about Redim and Richard ..they

could be targeted just for the knowledge they possessed.. he

must warn them about the dangers and it was his duty to see

that they were safe.

The police had not got even single evidence or a lead about

the old man’s death . Frank knew it was done by the

mercenaries called The Seekers . But he could not tell that to

the police because police would ask him his source of the

information and he couldn’t tell that the information was

given to him by the resident aliens!!

His father could be implicated even though he would never

have encouraged a murder.. His father had been unnaturally

morose and ill-tempered for these two days since the old

man’s death. He thought he should warn his father too!

Redim and Richard were talking in a hushed tone about the

course of action that they should take .. Redim was telling

him that it was their responsibility to keep the secret of the

creatures that they had seen. But everyday increased the peril

of the knowledge becoming open..So they must find an

alternative plan to keep them safe ..

Richard agreed completely and said the old man used to tell

him that the monkey wanted to go home ..He asked, ‘ do you

think these creatures have a home of their own somewhere..?

Redim could see that Frank was still deep in thought and

replied

‘

Yes ..I am sure of it.. but unfortunately they had no idea

from where they came and they were excited about today’s

news..That shows that it was the first time they had received

a signal from space..But they don’t have the means to find

out the source unfortunately’

‘

Then why don’t we find the source ? could we get this

information.. from somewhere?’ will it be available in the

Net..could we Google it?’ Richard was highly keyed up

knowing they could solve the problem.

Redim laughed and his enthusiasm was infectious,’ I don’t

think it would be available in the open sites but it was not

impossible to get I suppose..? But how it could help them’

Richard said, ‘ we could connect with the people over there

and they could come and get them..’

She asked him whether he read lot of sci-fi stories and Richard

smiled impishly and said , ‘ yes since childhood.. I used to go

behind the old man because I truly believed every thing he

said..’

Redim was silent for a moment and said ,’ your idea is the best

one .. Yes , that would be the practical solution to this peculiar

problem..’

Frank joined them.. ‘what is the best idea?’ Redim said, ‘

Finding the source of the today’s signal and send a signal to

come and take these creatures with them’

‘How simple it sounds..! that kind of information would not be

available to the general public.. We could never get the origin

of the signal on our own.’Redim sounded determined,’ but we

could try’ and there was a knock...
