"You can try," retorted Queen Mu sharply, both sides again tense, though Yue Jing’s group was clearly at a disadvantage.

Pang Meiqin saw the commander point the gun at his forehead and shot, breaking his hand.
"Can’t you even allow me a dignified death?" The commander did not scream in agony but showed a helpless bitter smile and then bent down to pick up the handgun, aiming it at his head again.
The others prepared to fire but were stopped by Tang Zheng.
"Let him commit suicide."
With a single gunshot, the Colonel burst into the command center, glanced at the commander’s corpse, and lost interest. His subordinates were keeping the female civilians in check, waiting in the corridor.
"Inform all officers at the company level and above; I want a meeting."
