Chapter 80: Chapter 80

ABUJA, NIGERIA.

Yasmeen El-Rufai pouted her lips as she continue to trudge inside the airport with Murad beside her. Today is her day to leave for Bauchi and even though she loves the idea of flying again for the second time, she will miss those three girls. Oh, she knows clients are not always going to be as good as those trio, she is sure none could even come close to them which is what makes her sadder. Most brides will ruin and match on her like she is a doormat and she will have to take it all in since that is her job, what she's meant to do with a smile.

These trio booked a flight for her from Bauchi to Abuja and did the same for her back home again. Who would do that if not them? They are hellbent on making her name blow and she is sure if her business gets anywhere in the world, it is going to be because of them three! She was working for them but they made her feel like a sister instead of someone they hired to help their wedding. Which is why she didn't let them down, their wedding was really the talk of the town until that day, a week after their marriage to be precise. They won't let her leave immediately, her parents understand and were very happy for her.

The three brides filled her with so many clothes she could barely count on. They said they don't have anyone to give except Afrah who has more clothes than all of them combined, they were not kidding. Amongst the three, whoever feels that the clothes they have don't fit them anymore, they give it to Afrah who never says no to new clothes, who does? Especially the ones Bushra Amani will sew for herself, you know it's never just any clothe. So she got her own share, and that share isn't small.

Her mother will get some so will her older sister and grandmother too. Yeah, all four of them are not fat maybe because they are not rich and don't eat to their hearts content, so the clothes will fit them all which means they won't have to think about not wearing new clothes for another four to five eids. She cried in joy watching as they pack all they have into her bag, a very big black luggage, some won't even enter so they will send it to her some other time, soon. Her heart was filled with so much joy, it bleeds with merriment she's never felt in her whole eighteen years, well, not after Abdullah left.

From accessories to shoes, veils, bags, lotions, creams, shampoos, clothing and even hijabs. Yasmeen didn't feel like charity case because they didn't make her feel like that, she felt compelled to take those clothes from them. A lot of people from her state want to give them clothes but they deny it knowing those people will taunt them for it. She will start dressing to impress now that she needs to join the Polytechnic there to study Hospitality and Management like Kauthar advised her. She told her to keep diploma so she can show it to anyone who thinks she isn't qualified, she agreed. Thank goodness the admission is just starting, she can quickly apply for it and get admitted with her Jamb.

The huge check they gave her will cover up so many things back home that she can't wait to show her mother. She didn't tell her how much was given to her and that she will go to school, she only told her sister so she can quickly apply it for her and she did. Her sister is also there in the Polytechnic studying Social Development because she's always wanted to help the society, her parents supported her and she is now doing her Higher National Diploma leaving two years for her to finish off.

"When are you coming back?" Murad yanked her from her reverie as she watch her luggage being moved.

The mere sight of her luggage made her insides churn with happiness for she is going to see her family after two weeks and then sad because she shall surely miss her brides and their family. The place she first worked is where everyone wished to start from, Abuja. She always can't believe that she's worked for these renowned people, it is a great honour.

"Ha, your wedding probably. That is, if you want me to help." She beamed seeing his smile fall off, she frowned. There is no way she don't understand why he frowned like this, she knows why.

She's heard the brides talking about the great soldier liking her but she never believed them because the relationship between her and Murad is only fun mixed with quick friendship. She could confide in him in a lot of things, he will advise her and vice versa. He give hints of liking her here and there, she turned it into a mere joke but after awhile, it became obvious that the guy wants something more. She didn't want to give him false hopes so she told him about Abdullah once or twice, he backed off after that. It didn't mean his feelings vanished alongside, he will get there, she hopes.

"Not happening..." His words trailed off so does his attention, he was staring at someone far off from where they are and seems like that person is coming towards them so she turned around to see who it was.

Just then, a thin average woman emerged from the crowd with a beaming smile looking at Murad right behind her. People are staring and whispering at the sight of her but she didn't pay them any heed, just keep walking to her destination, to Murad. She is wearing designer outfit set of white shirt, jeans cladding her long thin legs and a Hermes long jean jacket that reached her knees. She wrapped a veil around her in that classic style to her shoulders.

"Murad!" She beamed, standing a few feet away from them and Yasmeen wished she could see his reaction to this pretty lady's blinding beam.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" There was a smile in his voice from what Yasmeen could hear, she wished she could see it but is too intrigued with the woman in front of her.

"Came to pick up a friend, what are you doing here?" She inclined her head and that is when Yasmeen's head clicked at who this person in front of her is. She is Hanan Buhari Yakasai!

She is the President's daughter, the presidents daughter is in front of her! The one that is said to be rude but she has been smiling since Yasmeen has sighted her minutes ago. Were those things just rumours or she's not the one? This one is more fatter than the other one, more pretty with a smile and not at all like that stern one she's seen in the television and newspapers. Her eyes are even shining with mirth as she stares at Murad, she must be really fond of him. Or does she love him too?

Yasmeen isn't blind yet again, she can see that there is chemistry between them which Murad is trying to squash away. That guy! Instead of him to pursue this pretty changed lady, he is going after her who is obsessed with a man she knows nothing about. Ha, Karma is definitely a stupid bitch that won't stop biting at their asses till the end of time. What and who you want don't always get back to you, they run away and avoid you like a plague like her man did her. Oh gosh, she will have to do something for them both.

"Here to drop this thing off." She could already feel him gesturing his thumb in her head and since she is shorter than him, she can only stare at his hand above her head with a glare. He always calls her a thing, that she is not human!

"Hello, I'm Hanan." Hanan stuck her hand out for Yasmeen to shake but the girl is still contemplating who this person is in front of her. She looks like the President's daughter and even have her own name which means they are related or she is the one?

"You mean, Hanan Yakasai?!" Yasmeen's eyes widen with innocence not able to bring her hand up to shake the young lady's. She loves all the President's daughters, they are all beautiful in their own way.

"Yes, I'm Hanan Yakasai and you are?" Hanan inclined her head, taking her hand down in slight embarrassment. She hardly gets ignored, no, it never happens so she felt somehow even though she knew the young girl in front of her didn't do it intentionally, she was amazed. Everyone have that look after seeing the new Hanan Buhari Yakasai, she is not that astonished anymore.

"Oh, my! You look more pretty in person and not at all offensive like they say..." Yasmeen bite her tongue openly then scratched her arm knowing she shouldn't have said some things so she immediately changed the topic, "I'm Yasmeen." She stuck her hand which Hanan took and shook gently.

"Nice meeting you, Yasmeen. I've heard a lot about you from Murad." Hanan still have her smile intact then got shy when she noticed Murad staring at her with some weird emotion she always wants to know what it means.

"Really? I hope he told you I'm human?" Yasmeen turn to glare at Murad before hopefully staring at Hanan really hoping he called her human and not a doll like he likes teasing her.

"Yes, human wedding planner that talks without full stop is what he said." Hanan chuckled when Yasmeen's reaction became murderous. If looks could kill, Murad would've been ten feet underground if her eyes could.

"I won't do anything to you now, but I will take my revenge soon. That's my flight, I should get going." She beamed hearing a woman talking in the speaker about Bauchi passengers that their flight leaves in fifteen minutes which means she needs to board as soon as possible.

"When are you coming back?" Murad questioned again for the nth time so with a mischievous smile, Yasmeen beamed at him.

"Your wedding to help plan it. Hanan, you can call me whenever you guys decide to marry. I will be professional and won't talk a lot, I promise." She pivoted to run away when Murad called out her name in a serious tone after embarrassingly turning away from Hanan. She is staring at him like he grew a second head, Yasmeen caused this.

"Now what?" Yasmeen pouted really eager to leave the scene of the couple.

"Here, take this. My mother wants me to give this to you and told me to not give you the chance to decline it." He gave her a brand new iPhone XR in a gift bag, she can't see what is inside but knew it was a phone. She feels like throwing everything away and run home without anything.

Just planning one wedding has made her rich, she is now a rich woman herself. She won't buy clothes for herself or anyone in her family except for her father. She won't have to buy a new phone too, nor shoes, bags, veils or hijabs. What is she to do with the money they gave her now? Probably give it to her father so he can start a new business, they don't need it after they pay for their schools which isn't too much.

"Gosh, you guys are making me so emotional. Thank her for me with hugs and kisses." She rushed to board the plane at the last minute while panting. This is her second time in a plane, first when she was coming and second now.

They paid for everything, going and coming!

Who knew she was going to plan the president daughter's marriage a month later? Ha, definitely not anyone in their wildest dreams.

-

A month later, Murad and Hanan got married in the most grandest way known to Nigerians. Not even Zara's wedding could come close to Hanan's for everyone was waiting to see who was able to capture the ice woman's heart who happens to be a well respected young soldier. Though their shipname was #MuNan, they were called match made in heaven by the media for the surprise the wedding took.

They had celebrated it like no other has ever done! First it was the Kamu where so many celebrities attended, entertained and appreciated. Since Hanan was Olamide's fan, she invited him for the Kamu and he attended happily because who wouldn't want to? Hanan Yakasai knew she has it in her blood to make everyone dance to her tones, it easy and comes in without struggle.

And then there was the sword crossing which was much more grandeur. It was perfected because his two brothers didn't do it, everyone was waiting for his own so it was the talk of the town. His brothers made it look like they were desperately for it to exhibit Turkey. Yeah, Yasmeen was hired to do the job but alongside another woman whose mission is to decorate the place and turn it into abroad. She did that alright.

Then came the dinner that happened later that evening where the bride wore white gown sewn by thee Bushra Amani and the groom wore black kaftan. The two made the perfect couple, there is no debate about it. Their photos are all over social media because even though everyone literally hated Hanan, there is no denying she is the prettiest who became nice and took everyone mental focus. Even if you hated her, you still follow her life updates, that is how her character is.

The wedding took everyone by surprise, they only started seeing wedding pictures and wedding bells, no pre-wedding pictures or anything of that sort.

Even the couple don't understand how it happened so fast. In a blink of an eye, they are a married couple striving to keep their life private but is not possible both of them being public figures. Hanan wanted cool one but also want the one that will make everyone's jaw hit the ground, she manage to pull it off too. Murad followed everything she wants, encouraging her to add this and that but nothing out of their league. Is there anything out of their leagues anyway?

Mika'il is shuffling through their television again trying to find that channel that publish news from all over the world. He has been searching for it since month ago because it suddenly disappeared as if what he saw month ago was just a figment of his imagination. Not knowing that Zara found out the channel is there on their television and removed it immediately before he could see anything. He's seen it, that is what she didn't know and he wish not to tell her about what he saw so as to not upset her. She is heavily pregnant.

He took her phone when she entered the bathroom to take bath, his phone doesn't have everything and to browse is another crime. He searched up for his family and found out his father and siblings are pretty much alive and that his first wife is scot free and is married to his younger brother. He didn't remember much about her so it didn't hurt him at all but questions rise from his chest. He feels like his life is all a lie, as if he doesn't know whose life he is suddenly living for.

How could his family bring back the woman that killed their mother? Is that possible?

There are also recent photos of her and his sisters with some soldiers around them then another family one with the President and his daughters. He also saw his wife's photo, Zara as the President's daughter who died in a car accident several months ago along with her husband. Wait, they thought he was dead or something? What on earth is even going on with his life? Why does it suddenly look like everything about him is either a joke or lie?

He then searched for himself not sure whether there is news about him but there was. His news is scattered all over as the young pilot they lost in a car accident on his way to the hearing of his mother's murderer. Which means his first wife hasn't been declared as the murderer of his mother. Then why the hell did his wife lie to him about it? What is wrong with the both of them? Did they both lost their minds in the car accident and rush themselves to Seoul?

'Bushra Amani, the renowned tailor married to the oldest son of Dr. Malik Masari...' He entered that site and saw so many things related to him and his first wife, even with his daughter Anaan. His eyes teared up seeing the little baby captured in the camera though there are no photos of her of recent. He wants to see how she looks like!

'Mika'il Malik Masari marrying the President's daughter Zara Buhari Yakasai?'

His eyes pop open at this, he immediately tap the site again to see what has happened and immediately regretted it a second later. His marriage with Zara is not a love marriage! From the tweets screenshots posted in that site about their marriage and the replies his first wife gave to a few of them. He's seen some photoshoots too but it still didn't change the fact that he didn't marry Zara because he loves her! Then why on earth did he betray his first wife? He never wished to add a second wife his whole life.

Just then the shower is turned off, he deleted all the search history, kept her phone and left the room like he wasn't there. Questions filled his head, he had to write them down so as to not forget about it. He will continue browsing in her phone till all his questions are answered. He can't roam around without knowing the story behind him leaving his country, family and work to come live in a foreign place with a woman he never loved.

He strongly hopes she has a good reason as to why she brought him to South Korea or her life would be doomed. How did he lose his memory? What happened to his mother? Why was his first wife accused of murder? Why did his younger brother marry his first wife and where is his daughter?

He needs his answers, that too soon...
