Joan is shocked that Pablo ordered his men to lock her up in the basement again. Why is she being held like a thief again. He had stopped treating her like that since they have both come to a conclusion that he wouldn't hurt her parents, as long as she stays with him, and she has been doing exactly that. She even warned her parents not to act like she communicates them, she told them that if anyone comes looking for her, they should act like she is still missing, and because of her good behaviour, Pablo have taken her more like a sex machine, his slave, and sometimes, he treats her like his woman. He has removed the cuffs from her hand, and she is free to move around freely around his house, all she is trying to do, is to establish relationship with the guards, so as to find the best way to escape.
The last time she spoke with her parents, through the help of one of the guard, whom she have become friendly with, and she even let him have his way with her sometimes, when Pablo isn't around, since he is the one that is supposed to be watching her in his absence. She learnt that Joe came looking for her, and she was happy with the response she got from her parents.
One of the reasons she wants to be free from Pablo, is to live her life, and then she would come back to kill Edward. He thought he killed her and left her to die. When she learnt that it was Samantha that saved her life, she was lost for words, after all she did to her, she still had the good intentions towards saving her. She used to love him, but after what he did, she cannot wait to destroy him. She doesn't want Joe to do it, because for Joe to be looking for her, that means, somehow, the truth must have come out, and since her parents even mentioned Edward to Joe, he would have known everything already.
"Why did you ask them to lock me up again? Have I done something bad? She asked as soon as Pablo walked in.
Pablo ignored her and focused on Escober, who looked happy to be back in the position of watching her all the time. It will give him room to have his way with her, as he wills.
"You don't get to speak to me. You are still my slave, I bought you from your parents, I own you, and I will deal with you whichever way I wish". He says and walked away. She looked so shocked that she couldn't place her hand on what she did wrong, It's been really long he spoke to her in such a manner, she started to think that he must have suspected that she reaches out to her parents, that she even began to fear for Escober, but when he left, she asked Escober what she did wrong to have angered him so much that the cuffs he took away from her for almost a year now, he is putting it back and locking her up in a cage like an animal.
Escober made sure no one was around, before answering.
"Your ex husband is looking for you, he went to the hospital, where you were for half a year, under the watch of boss Pablo, and the woman there have called with the image of your ex, telling him that he already knows that Pablo is with you, which means, he might be coming for you soon, so boss is trying to stop him". Escober explained.
"But what is Joe looking for, I thought he had moved on and forgotten about me, I wrote a note that I was leaving him, he believed it then, so what suddenly changed? She asked, but Escober didn't have the answer to that, and he wasn't even interested in answering questions, he just wants to have his way with her.
"But I was hoping you would like the cuffs again. I mean, we use to have a really great time in this cage, and now that he is gone, he will be gone for hours, we could just have a quickie here you know". He says licking his lip. Joan knows that he was really into her, and he would do anything for her to give herself to him, but he hadn't been able to do the very one thing she wants.
"You know we could have eachother at will, if only you have been able to do that tiny little thing I asked you to do. We could end him together, he would be out of our way and lives forever". She reminds him but he only shook his head, he seem too scared.
"How will I fight all the guards, if he dies, I will be the first suspect, they will know I have a hand in it, and they will come after us, and then, we won't be able to have that life we so desire". He says, bringing her consciousness to the fact that Pablo isn't the only one they will be fighting but the entire gang.
"You are the second in command Escober, we only need to kill only him, you could make it look like I killed him, then you keep me in your dungeon for as long as you want, as if you are punishing me, we could also make his death look like a natural one. You are his closest friend, you can make this happen, if you really care for me as you claim you do". She says then started licking her lips.
He looked out, and quickly uncuff her, it is hard for him to focus whenever she does that, He released her, so he could have his way with her.
