"Craig please I am sorry". She says as she follows him back to the room, but he was just busy packing up files, which he plans to work on. When he didn't say anything to her, she held him by the hand to get his attention and get him to face her, but when he did, his eyes were red, he looked too angry, if she didn't know him, she would have thought that he is some kind of animal or something.

Why are you so angry? She asked. and he looked too shocked at her question, that he opened his mouth at first, but no words came out, before he calmed his nerves, took a breath in and out, before asking her back.

"You are really asking me that? He asked, looking shocked that she could even think of asking such a question.

I was here with you, I was nursing you and looking after you, and even though I wanted us to have a talk, I let you sleep, thinking you were sleeping. Do you know how I feel now realizing you tricked me, you pretended to be asleep, so you could sneak out to meet with your ex? He sounded like she is cheating on him with Edward, as though he didn't see that Edward was being held hostage, and treated like an animal.

His accusation reminded her of what Edward was doing to her all those years ago. How he will sneak out of the house to be with another man's wife, and all the while, he thought she didn't know. But she isn't like that, and she wouldn't want Craig to nurse such thought.

"What are you saying Craig, I didn't just go to visit him, didn't you see that he was being held like an animal? Joe is going to kill him for killing his wife, if no one stops him". she says, trying to get him to see the need why they should save him.

"You are trying to stop Joe, from killing Edward, who was sleeping with his wife, and he didn't stop there, he had to kill her, and now he wants to get even with him, and you want to stop him?

She wanted to answer, but he continued.

If You want to save Edward, after all he did to you, then be my guest. Please excuse me, I have files to work on". He says and walked away. She was too shocked to say anything, he is just ignoring her and acting like she did something so bad, she touched her stomach as the hurt she feels in her heart for his neglect seem to be getting to her stomach, then she decided to rest a little, she lay on the bed, with the plan that she will wait for him, but the more she waited, the more she feels sleepy and tired, until she finally closed her eyes, with the hope that as soon as he opens the door, she will open her eyes, but she is shocked that she only opened her eyes to the next day, she had slept on her cloth, she didn't even bother bathing that night, she opened her eyes wide and looked around her to see if her husband slept in the room with her, but he was not in sight. The door was still left the way she had left it, which means, wherever it is he had slept, he didn't come back to the room. He remembers that he was carrying his files to go out, which means that he must have spent the night in his study, but as soon as she stepped outside, she was quickly stopped by a guard, who thought that she wants to leave the house, since she was still in the dress she wore out the previous day.

"Hey Davidson, why are you blocking my way? I am looking for my husband". She says, but he only bowed his head, too scared to look into her eyes, he tells her.

"I am so sorry Ma'am, but the boss says you shouldn't be allowed to leave the house today, he says you should rest". That is one way of telling her that she is under house arrest, she rushed to the Study thinking she would find him there, but he wasn't there, she came back to her room, and Davidson gave her another information.

If you are looking for the boss, he has gone to work".

"Then I have to go to work too". She says, but he wouldn't let her.

"I am sorry, but he would be so mad at me if I let you leave the house". He says politely, but he was still very firm about not letting her out. She didn't hear the voice of Mary or Whitney, which means they are also not home, she went back to her room to get her phone, she tried calling him, after the fifth time, she gave up, he wasn't taking her call, and he clearly wouldn't call back, but she cannot be held hostage, she thought of a plan to get out of the house but nothing was coming to her mind, then she decided to feign labor. She knows she isn't due yet, but she could feign it, and there will be a medical name given to it later. She opened her door again and spoke calmly to Davidson.

"Please I feel sick, I need to get to the hospital". The expected reaction was gotten as he gasped, but he was still restricted by the instruction given to him.

"I need to call the boss first". He says and turned away to call. For once she wanted to hit him with the mob stick she was looking at, but she changed her mind, her plan would work, she would be let out of the house, but to her shock, Craig called back to speak to her.

"I know you are alright, but you just want to get out of the house, he is going to drive you to the hospital, and he will still be there to watch over you". Samantha wanted to laugh at what he said, but she forced herself not to, as long as she would be allowed to leave the house. She changed her clothes, thinking she would be let to go out, when Davidson's phone rang again and it was Craig on the line again.

Samantha was shocked when Davidson told her that she wouldn't be allowed to leave the house, she was furious that she forgot she was feigning pain.

"Are you insane? Didn't you just hear him say you should let me out?

"Yes I heard him and he also just called back that you shouldn't bother going to the hospital, he will get the doctor to come here to attend to you, and he is already on his way". Samantha knew she couldn't do or say anything more, she fell back on the bed, while waiting for the doctor.

The doctor came as expected, he checked her, gave her some resting pills, and asked her to take her meals, she spent the entire day in the house, till evening hours, when Mary and Whitney came back home, she was waiting particularly for Craig so she could pour her anger out on him, but surprisingly, he didn't come home, till she fell asleep. He was really punishing her.
