Sandra was surprised to find Craig at Winlowtech the next day, she was begining to think that he is trying to get away from Samantha, and so she thought she could use it to her advantage.

"You know I can handle this place, you don't have to be here all the time". She says, hoping to get a sweet response of some kind from him, but to her surprise, he shook his head, before answering.

"I really don't want to be here, but there are things I need to sort out, and yes I know you can handle this place, you are one of my best staffs". It was the first time, he was saying one of his best, he used to call her his best staff. She swallowed her anger, before going back to her seat. He had a lot to tell her to do, and he demanded for some names, that she had to provide and dig into their history with the company, even though she doesn't really know what it is for.

During lunch, she went to get him something to eat, which he accepted heartily, making Sandra happy. She took a seat beside him, and tried striking a conversation with him.

"I was meaning to tell you sir, that it would be nice to have Samantha come back to Winlowtech, since she is pregnant, and the Apple might be too big for her to handle". Craig paused for a while, and thought hard about it before responding.

"She will be visiting Winlowtech more often, so don't worry". He says simply, before packing his things for the day, their first suspect has been ruled out, so far, he has been able to notice that Sandra have nothing to do with the deal, and even at that, there is no point involving her, which means, he has to go back to investigating those at the Apple.

"You can take care of the rest, I should get back to Apple, to see what they are doing there". He says to her, and even though she wish to stop him, she couldn't, he seem like he really wants to get away from her, she just decided to try again.

"I was thinking you would take me for a drink, at least". She says, thinking he would just walk away, but since he had suspected her initially to be the thief, and she turned out innocent, he decided to just grant her wish, because he knows that going back to Apple, will only mean, he will have to suffer watching Samantha work herself out, without giving him so much attention, especially since, he wants to be a bit scarce from the company.

"Alright then, a little time won't kill". He says and she almost jumped on him, he grabbed his coat, while she followed behind, she wanted to hold his hands, the way she used to, but he was walking too fast, that she couldn't even keep up, When they got to the restaurant, she placed her order, and he did same, trying to just buy time, while Sandra was busy looking around and smiling, fir she knows that since they are at a public place like that, there must be paparazzi's around, to take pictures of them.

Craig was feeling bored, he took out his phone, wanting to only drop a message for Samantha, when he received a photo message from her, with the caption.

"I thought you were working, how come you are out eating and drinking with her?

Craig had to look around at the area, to be sure, they are at the same place, he looked around him and could still see a few cameras clicking on them.

"I have to leave now! He says, and got up, even before she could say anything. He dropped some notes on the table, and walked away. Sandra was so embarrassed, she buried her smiling face down, and didn't raise her face for a long time. She watch him leave, even though she would have loved to stop him, and walk out with him, just the way they had walked in together.

Craig got to Apple, and didn't need anyone to tell him that he was in for questioning, he walked into his office, expecting her to come to him, but she didn't, he had to send for her, ignoring her message, he started talking about work.

"Where are my files for today? He asked, looking down, while Samantha squint her eyes in anger.

"Are you going to act like you didn't get my message? She asked, and that was when he looked up and said.

"Remember this is a place of work, we could talk about that, when we get home". She couldn't believe he just said that. He didn't even bother looking into her eyes, he just spoke and went back to looking at his system.

She walked out, and after a few minutes, she brought in a bunch of unsigned files, dropped them on his table, and is about to leave, when he called her back.

Are you not going to explain to me, the details of each file? He asked, and she reluctantly, started explaining them one after the other.

"about the case of yesterday, I think our first suspect will no longer be Sandra". She says and paused to see his reaction.

"I am way ahead of you on that one, so who? He asked, looking up at her for the first time since he walked in.

"Anthony Darius, the one in the control, I stumbled on some files, that points fingers at him, but I need to take them home to work on them, that way, u will conclude on my findings". She says, still angry that he isn't trying to explain to her, what he was seen doing at a public place with Sandra.

"Then we will work on the file together".

"No, don't worry, I will do it alone, and bring the report to you". She responded, seeing that he is looking a bit sober, she made to walk away, but he was quick to block her way out.

"Why are you so angry? He asked, and she gently pushed him aside.

"I thought this is a place of work? She asked, sarcastically.

"Yes even at a place of work, I can ask my staff, why she is angry, can't I? She blinked severally, and not wanting to let her guard down, she gathered her heart together, and walked away from him, leaving him to look at her behind, but just by the door, she stumbled on Juliet, who seem to be trying to walk in, but she was adjusting her blouse, to expose part of her cleavages.

Samantha eyed her, then she looked back at Craig, before going into her office.

"Sir....

She tries to say, but Craig was looking down, and only gesture to her to drop the file and leave, which she did, but she couldn't stop wondering why he looked like he just had a fight with Samantha. Juliet, needed to know.
