Chapter 54: Chapter 54

"What the hell! Maxwell managed to exclaim, holding his lips, that seem to be gravely shaken. He couldn't be beaten by a younger person, and just let it slide, no matter the guards around him. So he got up in a hurry, but didn't even get close to him, before another punch landed on his nose, making his nose to bleed. He cried out in pain.

Ahhh! Do you go around beating random people, because you feel you can beat them? He asked, not wanting to make the same mistake of going close to him again.

"I don't go around beating people, but I feel like beating you to stupor, till you realize what you are doing". Craig says, moving closer to him, while he crawled backwards with his butt.

"Stay away from me, you are a psycho, what did I do to you? I don't even know you, so what are you talking about? He asked, looking really frightened.

"You don't know me, and you don't have to know me, but you are hurting someone I care about deeply, by being here with another woman, and so, I will deal with you, till you realize what you are doing". He made a move towards him again, while Maxwell kept moving backwards. He stopped Craig, by raising his hand.

"I swear, I don't know whom it is you speak of, that I am hurting, I don't know anyone". He explained in pain, While Craig laughed hysterically, before looking back at him angrily.

"You don't know me like I said before, but you sure know that by being here, you are hurting someone else. Not just being here, you are here with another woman, and tomorrow, you will see her at work, and pretend to love her. You are supposed to be protecting her, from that villain called Edward, but you just allowed him bully her around? Maxwell now understood where his rage was coming from, that he forced himself to sit up.

"Are you talking about Samantha? Maxwell asked, raising a brow, but he didn't even allow Craig answer, for he already knows that it is Samantha that he is talking about, so he quickly added.

Samantha is not my woman, she didn't want me, she says she is inlove with someone else, when I asked her out. And what do you mean by being hurt, we have never dated even for a day, so why will she be hurt, if I am out here with another woman? Craig looked shocked at him, for he couldn't tell, if he is lying to him, or telling the truth, but he still managed to ask.

"Are you saying, you are not together?

"We are not together, you son of a bitch! He screamed at him, realizing that he had just gotten a broken lips, because of Samantha.

Why does everyone think I am with Samantha, even her ex husband thought so, and threatened my job. If she had accepted, I would have stopped her from working and we could live on my salary, but she refused, and I have moved on since then". He spat out, wiped his lip again, while Craig handed him a handkerchief to help wipe his nose as well, then he helped him up, before asking.

"If you are not together as you claim, then who is the father of the child she is carrying?

"I don't know okay? She is not with me, I have only managed to hug her once, but that is all we have done together. She told me she doesn't love me, she loves someone else, and I guess she loves her ex husband". Craig looked so confused, and he kept looking down, as if he is the one that have been beaten. He has a lot, going on in his mind, and he just cannot help himself, but think of the baby she is carrying as his. But then, if the baby is his, she would have told him, or was there another person before him? He was clearly confused, and needed to know what was going on, by the time he looked up at Maxwell, he had moved close to him, he gave him a hard punch on the stomach, making Craig move backwards. Steve wanted to attack him, but Craig stopped him, so they watch Maxwell go, he took one look at Steve and said. "We are going to Samantha's house now! Steve checked the wristwatch, to tell him that she should be fast asleep by the time they get to the house, but before he opened his mouth to speak, Craig was out of sight.

He had to follow behind. It was already five minutes to midnight.

Craig got to her house, and wanted to just walk in, but then, decided against it, he should just call her out, so as not to create a scene. He started pacing around the area, especially when she wouldn't take the call, he called again, and again, when she wasn't taking his call, and the weather had started to look like there would be a heavy downpour, he made to move towards the door, to hit the door bell, when his phone started ringing. She was calling back, he calmed his racing heart, before taking the call.

"I am outside your house, come out, we need to talk". She wiped her sleepy eye, looked up at the wall clock hanging in her room, before looking back at her phone.

"You cannot be at my house, did you even check the time? She asked, but he didn't seem to care, he squint his eyes angrily, before speaking up again.

"I am going to come in and force you out, if you don't come out gently". Samantha was shocked, it didn't sound like Craig, he had never spoken to her in such a manner before, so she had to look out the window. By this time, it had started raining, and she could hardly hear anything, looking out the window, she sees him, still holding his phone on his left ear, and looking up at him, the rain was drenching him, Samantha was worried, she grabbed her jacket and an umbrella, then made her way down the stairs, to understand why he will come to her house, by that time of the night, but as soon as she got outside, his car door was open, and he carried her inside the car, and commanded that they move.

He just directly or indirectly kidnapped Samantha.
