Third person's POV.
"Now that I have gotten close to her, I just need to be nice to her, so that I could destroy her completely from inside, just maybe, if I can get her to fall for me again and believe in me, she could tell me everything Craig knows, and then, I will be ready to fight". Edward says, and even though Joe could not understand why he wants to fight to get her back, he is happy, that it will end with him finding whatever it is, Craig knows about them.
"But are you really going to keep the company? He smiles, shaking his head in the negative.
"I would have, but that is not my line at all, and since she seem to understand the stuff, I want to make her the owner, but first of all, I want her to fall inlove with me again". He says laughing hysterically.
"But with the way you are speaking with her so far, I don't think she will fall for you, plus you said she is pregnant for that guy, so why do you think she is going to love you? Joe asked, and he laughed some more.
"She isn't pregnant for Maxwell, she is pregnant with Craig's baby, but she is hurt, and she doesn't want him to know, but she wants us all to believe the baby is Maxwell's baby, and we are all ready, to accept it like that, besides, how will it sound, that she is pregnant for that little boy, it will make all the rumours of five years ago true, but since I know her better, she will want to hide it, even Craig doesn't know he is going to be a daddy soon". He says and wouldn't stop smiling.
"Wow, that is good, but you know how this things work, he is going to find out somehow, as long as your daughter still sees him as an icon, so I think, the first person to work on, is your daughter. Create time for her, and make her fall inlove with you, then, you can really win her mother with ease". Joe tells him and he nodded that he is going to do exactly that.
The next weekend, when he was free, he went back to the country side, to the house, since he had called before hand, that he wants to spend some time with his daughter. Samantha who was not comfortable having him alone with her daughter, decided to go with then, which was exactly what he plans. He was going to make sure, their moment together is recorded, so that Craig could see everything, and he could melt with Jealousy.
"He is outside now". Mary alerted them, and Samantha nodded, while Mary reminded her, of their discussion.
I know Edward, he must have a plan behind all this, but you have to be very careful". Samantha nodded.
"Yes, I know him, but whatever plans he has, it won't change anything. I am only working for him, so that I could have my own money, and after that, I will set myself up and leave him. If I don't work with him, he could win against me in court, especially now that I don't have Craig's backing". She paused and thought of Craig for a while. She thinks of him every minute of the day, but she still doesn't know how to tell him that, she is carrying his baby.
Mary moved close to her and asked her, more like in a whisper.
"Speaking of Craig, why don't you tell him, and save yourself from all this? She shook her head to disagree.
"He would think that I cannot stand on my own. he might also think that I am reaching out to him, because I am scared of Edward, I need him to know that I can do things on my own".
"How many things were you able to do on your own five years ago? So why are you trying to do things on your own now?. You love this guy, you are carrying his child, why are you making it so difficult? Samantha hushed her, looking back, so as to be sure that Whitney isn't listening.
"Enough Mary! I was accused five years ago of sleeping with him. It ruined my life, what do you think the world would say now, when they finally find out that I am carrying the child of my ex student? They would think because he is a billionaire, they would think I did it on purpose, no one would believe I love him, and I don't want that, but if he sees that I was able to raise his child alone, it will pass a different message to him, and also, if the world see that I am able to do things on my own, they wouldn't judge me". She tells him, just then, Whitney came down with her bag pack, and they both walked out together. Mary still walked them outside, and staring at Edward's suspicious face, she says out loud, so that even Edward would know, that she doesn't trust him.
"Please be careful you both, and mind what you eat". He stared angrily at her, while she smiles knowingly. You can call her, the devious maid.
She watch them leave, and then she went back into her room, she grabbed her phone and tried calling Craig, who refused taking her call. He didn't want to have anything to do with Samantha anymore, she just keeps breaking his heart, day by day.
Hours later, he got a video in his social media DM. It was a short video of the family, they went out, and they look so happy together. He could not believe his eyes, the video was sent by an unknown person, it wouldn't be hard for him to find the person who sent it, but he wasn't interested. First she slept with her colleague, weeks after she started working at Jade's factory, and she even fell pregnant for him, and now, she is smiling happily with Edward. A man, who was once an enemy, a man who hurt her, who threw her away, a man who deprived her from being happy, a man she should avoid.
"I guess I was wrong about you Samantha. I am going to have to seriously move on, and this time, I will move on for good". His thought was distracted by a call from Sandra, who was calling to remind him of the meeting they have in the early hours of the morning.
