CRAIG'S POV.
I have received images already, but I didn't like the fact that there is already a man involved. He even winked at her, and she smiles broadly. Could he be the reason for her smiles, could he be the reason she looks that good? Did she think, because he is the head of the department where she works, then he is the one that gave her the job? I was asking too many questions, with no one to give me the answer, I was just very angry at everything. I wish I could show my face, I wanted to smash something. I didn't realize how angry I was, until I sent everything on my table to the floor, and Sandra rushed into my office. She was shocked, but she knows better than to ask me questions, she called on the janitor, who helped her pick up everything, as her dress is too tight for her to bend, but she was the one that arranged everything back on my table, but I was already out. I didn't want to call Jade, for I was thinking he would be busy, having been away for long, he would have a lot to do, but he called me, and I took the call immediately.
"Hey man, it's like you were holding your phone? He asked, and I didn't want him to know how I desperately wanted to speak with him, so I pretended.
"Yeah, I was sending a message with my phone, to a client, and I didn't know I had picked your call already".
"I trust you, always with the system". He says and then added. Maybe this is not a good time then, I will call you back". He says, but I stopped him, before he hit the end button.
"No, please speak". I made sure I was very calm.
"Alright then. Well, your girl, or should I say your woman is as smart as you say, she has loads of ideas, and I didn't even give her the task you asked me to, I gave her something else, I know she will do better, but I think she is having a little romance with my staff already". Hearing that from me, made my heart boil. I made a fist, but I was holding myself not to smash things again, as I was not in my office, but I the hall way.
"Why do you say so? I asked, and he explained that he had seen her smiling and giving the staff a lovely look, he didn't think it was something to take serious, but then, he had seen them in the hall way hugging each other, and that they would have kissed, if he hadn't walked in on them. I felt like doing something hurtful just hearing that, and all I could do was kick the wall.
"But I told her, we don't accept office romance, that I notice her involvement with Maxwell, and that she needed to end whatever it is she has with him, else one of them would have to leave the job for the other". He added, and I was happy, he threatened her, maybe she will understand what she is doing to me.
"Why don't you just fire the guy? I didn't know when I asked that, and he started laughing.
"Craig, I thought you said you didn't love this girl? He asked and I hissed. Maybe he should know the truth after all.
"That lady, is the love of my life. I wronged her, and I want to make up for it, but I cannot be planning to make up for something, while another man is there, trying to spoil it all, you have to help me Jade". I had to tell him the truth, and he only laughed the more.
"Billionaire's don't beg for things to be done, they get it done my friend, but I am sorry, I cannot fire him. He is one of my oldest and best staff, but I have an advise for you. If you love her this much, you should come here, show her you are sorry, and you still want her. Even if I try to help you, by taking Maxwell away from her, or lay him off as you have asked, that would only happen in my building, not outside my building. You don't know how far they have gone, they will find themselves outside, and they will still do whatever it is they have been doing. You should step in, so she knows that you still want her. If you stay away, she will think you too have moved on, and she will want to move on too".
I etched just hearing that she have moved on. is it that easy to move on? How could she even move on, when I could have swore it with my life that she loves me?
I ended the call, and called Mary immediately.
"Sir, I thought I said you couldn't call at will, she might find out that I have been talking with you, against her warning never to speak to you again". She reminded me, but I ignored her fears, and went ahead to ask her.
"Mary, please I will be very brief, who is Maxwell, and what does he want with Samantha? She paused for a while, and my heart started racing. I was so scared, I don't know what to expect from what she will tell me.
"He is her colleague, did something happen to them? She asked, and I didn't know how to answer her. I also do not want to pretend that I am fine anymore, so I spoke up.
"I have reasons to believe that they are having an affair, and that is why I have called you. Are they having an affair?
I heard a sound, that was like that of someone who was trying not to laugh.
"Sir Craig, I don't think there is anything between them, if there is, she hasn't told me, and I haven't noticed it, but I know, they are quite close, he takes her to work at times, but brings her home all the time, but I will look into it, and get back to you, but why don't you try calling her again? She asked, but I didn't answer her, I just ended the call.
I sat down again. She was driving me crazy, I don't know what I will do if she ever falls for someone else.
I called my personal Guard, and sent him to her, he will follow her and Maxwell, and within few days, he will let me know, what is truely going on between those two.
I could loose my mind just staring at the image Infront of me. It was pointless staying back at work, I went back into my office, carried what is left of my work, and left.
