Sandra was so worried in her cell, because for the past two weeks, she hasn't seen Elvis.

She doesn't know the plan he has, she couldn't tell if he had left her, to be on her own, and even though that is the sign she is seeing, she could never bring herself to accept that he has left her.

She would have thought that at least, he would remember that it is her birthday, and the very least, visit her, but he was no where to be found.

Lioness and Sarah, have made her day, by waking her up with a song, but she still wants to hear from him.

All of a sudden, amidst her worry, the door to their cell opened, to give her a surge of hope, with the officer looking as serious as he used to, without greeting, he three three dresses at them.

"Wear this! He says harshly.

"Are we going home? Asked Lioness, but Sandra didn't want to believe that they are going home, she is has only spent a year, and she still has nine years to go.

While holding the dress, she thought of Elvis.

She feels Elvis was getting tired, because his visits aren't as frequent as it used to be, and she wouldn't blame him, if he had decided to move on with his life, after all, what does she have, that she would give to him, apart from causing him stress and expenses.

"What's the occasion? Sandra managed to ask.

"There is going to be a prison party, and all the inmates, are meant to wear new clothes, it's from the government". The officer answered, and left, so they could change.

Sandra was not happy, for she had thought that it was Elvis, trying to surprise her for her birthday, it is her birthday, and for over two weeks, he haven't visited, she dropped the dress, and looked away, Lioness came to her, touching her shoulders in a bit to console her, she knows she has been worried about Elvis not showing up.

"You don't have to think so much about him, if he isn't coming again, and he doesn't want to have anything to do with you any more, just know, that we are here for you, and we are going to stand by each other ". She turned to her, and hugged her.

"I would have killed myself, I would have died, why did he give me hope, and a reason to live again only to abandon me now? She asked, with tears in her eyes.

"Don't worry Sandra, in this life, you are not meant to trust too much, to avoid getting your heart broken, but today is your birthday, and the government is throwing a party for the inmate, who knows, we might be lucky and our time here will be reduced, so what's the problem, your day have really brought us Goodluck".

She was trying to make her happy, and it worked, for she decided to be happy in her new life, even though Lioness will leave the prison before her, she is happy, she got to know the other side of her, she is really sweet, and is not as violence, as she had thought her to be.

"I need to wash my face and pack my hair, you know". She says, showing Lioness that she isn't sad anymore, they soon started hearing music, which forced them to dress up quickly, by the time the officer came back to them, they were done already, she decided to ask the officer, while Lioness was still getting ready.

Please, is there a reason, Elvis haven't visited? She asked him, and he answered harshly.

"How am I supposed to know that? I don't live with him, so why should I be the one to answer such question? She was hurt, she didn't bother asking him any more question, for she didn't want to get her heart broken.

By the time Lioness was done. The three of them walked out together, happily, but they noticed that not all the inmates were dressed, some still held on tight to the iron bars, looking at them and pointing at them, thinking that they were free, and are already leaving.

"Why are they not dressed? Lioness asked, but no one answered, for even Sandra, needs answer to that same question.

A door opened to where they usually have their general meal, and there stood a figure that could pass for Elvis, and her heart skipped a bit, he was holding a bouquet, and smilling at her, she turned around her, looking everywhere, she just couldn't believe her eyes, even the officer that had sounded harsh towards her, had a smile on, he didn't look so harsh anymore, it was all in the plan, so she wouldn't ask so much question, before he spills, when he isn't supposed to spill, she managed to ask.

What is going on? She asked, but no one answered, Lioness just moved close to her, after collecting the flower from Elvis, she handed it over to her, and helped her get to him, and he went down on his knees.
