Sandra was getting used to the lioness, she was no longer so scared of her, she would look her in the eye, and speak, she could tell her personal things, as they both learnt about the reasons, they were there, and soon enough, they became close, so close, they could call them friends.

That sort of friendship, that they would share things together and even talk for a really long time.

Elvis have given her some sort of hope, and he has been visiting her since then, as a matter of fact, he visits her everyday, he even told her that he loves her, at some point, and it made her so happy, even though she didn't respond, she still feels happy, that someone still feels for her, at such a time in her life, she really needs such, she needs someone to tell her, he loves her. And not just telling her, she needs some to show her, just the way he was showing her.

She just needs love, that is all.

"Why are you called Lioness? She asked her, once they went to get their food at the hall, where they all eat together.

She looks around, before answering, as though she didn't want anyone to know she is telling her something.

When she was sure that no one was watching, she, nodded her head and heaved a sigh, before starting.

"When I just got here, I was scared I will be bullied, so I started early, to bully others, you know, that feeling of coming prepared, so no one bullies me, but after seeing you that night, staying up all night and looking into space, I think I might just make an exception with you.

I saw that you were so scared, and I guess it was the fear that made you not sleep, which is why, I thought been your friend, would be better than being your enemy, plus that cute barrister always bringing you what to eat. He even brought Ice cream and burger the other day, and he brought enough for the three of us, how can I not be your friend.

You really have a nice boyfriend". She says, and she smiles.

"He isn't my boyfriend, he is my lawyer". She tells her blushing hard.

"I thought you said, he already told you he loves you? She asked her and she nodded.

"Yes he has, but I don't know, I mean, it is all so strange, he went from being my lawyer who works for me, to someone who has feelings for me, I am just scared of believing and hoping for too much, it will hurt really hard, if it doesn't work out.

He thinks there is a way, I could be bailed out, and I am hoping on that, that is the only way, I will be able to fight for my future, and whatever is there for me".

She looks down, as she munch on the food Infront of her.

"Love doesn't always happen my friend, when it does, you grab it with both hands, and keep it.

That young man loves you, so you should enjoy his love for you". She tells her. They continued to eat, and gist and just before they rang the bell for them to go back into their cells, they got an announcement, that Barrister Elvis was there to see her. Lioness winked at her, and she smiles, brushing her aside, before going to the receiving side, to see her one and only visitor.

"Hey! She calls out, looking happier than she used to be, whenever she comes out to welcome him.

"Wow, someone looks excited". He says.

"Yes I am, I don't know why, but I am excited". She says.

"Well you should, we are just one day away from the day you appear in court, please, be very persuasive, the Anderson's will be there, if they drop all charges against you, the murders could be blamed on your mental status, and I got a report already, and the doctor will be available at the court, to explain what happens, when you have the said mental issue. Everybody will be there, all I need you to do, is make it real". She nodded.

"Thank you so much, I really appreciate all you do, and if it doesn't work, I still appreciate the fact that I still have one friend, before my death". She says, but he raised his hands to stop her.

"Please don't say that, you are my responsibility now, and I should keep you away from harm, you will be safe, don't worry". He says, he blew her a kiss, and she caught it in the air, before he left.

"See you in court". He says. she was lost for words, she just watch him leave, till he was out of sight, she still had a little more time, till her visit hours are over, she sat there, wondering just what she did, to deserve someone like Elvis, and why she didn't notice him sooner.

She had been so blinded by what she was doing, that she didn't notice the love, in his eyes, now that she is seeing it, It seem to have been there for so long.

"I love you too". She says, to no one in particular, until the guard escorted her back to her cell, where she shared her story with Lioness, who tells her if everything works out, she will have the chance to be in the other side of the world, she will be free, so she should remember her.

She too wants to have a chance at freedom, and love.
