Chapter 140: Chapter 140

Craig couldn't explain why she was running after a strange face, even he doesn't know the person, but he had to follow her, he didn't show his face immediately, when she stopped to speak with the person, he stood behind to watch.

"Sorry Mr, I don't know, but I have seen your face somewhere before, I was trying to place the face, it was so difficult for me, that I just couldn't, I decided that coming to you would be best". She explains.

She was still with her shades on, and he also doesn't know her, thinking she must be one of his old patients, he smiles.

"I cannot help you to remember, if you have a shade on". He says with a smile, and she removes her shade. Suddenly the face of the man that had been smiling expectantly suddenly changed to that of fear. It made her think he must have suddenly remember her, so she asked with a smile.

"Do you remember seeing this face? She asked, still trying to place his face.

"Please I need to go". He says, he was uneasy, and almost immediately, Linda walked into the premises, and noticed Samantha by the side speaking to a man, whom she recognized as doctor Bobby, she started walking towards them, wanting to know if she had gotten what she wanted to get from the pharmacy, so she could explain better to her, how she is to use it, so she doesn't take an overdose, because she wants a faster result.

She had only taken a few steps, when she noticed that even Craig was beside, with shades too, clearly hiding.

She couldn't explain why she feels they were hiding, she calls out to Samantha, she was still waving at her, asking her to wait for her, when Doctor Bobby rushed into his old wagon and drove off.

He had done too many terrible things in his life, this is his newest dealings, and though he would want to repent, circumstances surrounding him, would not let him live a life worthy of emulation.

"Mr wait! Samantha calls out, but he was already gone. Craig came close to her, and held her by the waist.

"Can you explain to me, why you chased after that old man?

"That old man is called Doctor Bobby". Linda says, as she approached them and gave Samantha a hug.

You two look beautiful". She added, as she disengaged from her.

"Thanks dear, so you know him? She asked, wanting to know why she was feeling she has seen him somewhere significant before.

"I am in the medical field, I should know him. She says proudly, while Craig was waiting for his answer from her.

"You have still not told me why you went after him, you are the wife of Craig Anderson, you must have met faces in this your life, it is natural". Craig says.

"His face is different, I feel I have seen him somewhere, that is not medical related".

"Yes you should have. He was the one that directed us that fateful night, of the Apple grand party. He directed us to where Craig and Sandra were". Linda says, bringing a clearer picture to the blurry one. That night was a night she hates remembering, but it always comes out somehow.

"Exactly Linda, that is why I feel attached. That night was the night that changed a lot of things in my life, and I am grateful to him for showing us the right way to go".

She Says, but Linda had another shocking tale to share.

"He is also the owner of the hospital, where Sandra's pregnancy result came from". She says, then added.

He is an old hand in the field, people trust him, because of his experience, but I know a nurse who worked closely with him, that have a different thing to say about him". She almost whispered.

"What did the nurse say about him? Samantha asked, wanting to know why her spirit, feels like there is more she needs to know about this doctor, and why she wants to know more.

"Rumors have it that he used to have a son, years ago, then his wife adopted a baby girl, whom he was abusing sexually, his biological son found out about him and what he was doing to his sister, he shared it with his mother, they had a serious fight about it, and was headed for divorce, but knowing that it would destroy him and everything he had worked for, he decided to end his family. He did something to their car, on the day they were to leave him, which resulted to them having a fatal accident, which claimed their lives.

He didn't find their bodies to bury, for the car was blown up, and any human in there, would have turned to ashes due to the fire". Samantha was shocked, she had her eyes wide opened, she wanted to share her shock with her husband, but surprisingly, he was not around her, he was far away from her, on the phone.

"I want to know every information you can gather on Doctor Bobby of Great hands hospital". was the only command he needed to give.

Samantha was thinking the same thing Craig was thinking, but she didn't even know he was thinking it, so she just decided to keep it a secret, and run her own investigation.

If Doctor Bobby is as dubious as Linda have made him look, then he must have a link, as to know what happened to Craig that night, and why he cannot remember anything.

And though there is a little baby bum showing from Sandra, Samantha still sense a shady business going underneath.

When they got home that day, they didn't say anything to eachother, they were both engulfed in their thoughts.
