Craig was thinking of how the next day will look like, it is the main day, and he really do need Samantha around him, but funny enough, she has been having pains all over her stomach, it is as though the baby was going to come any minute.

"You really need to get well, tomorrow is the day". He tells her, and so did Whitney and Mary.

"Don't worry Dad, she will be fine". Whitney tells him and he just nodded his head, but deep within him, he didn't feel too good about the way she was doing.

"Linda, what do you advise? He asked her nurse.

"Honestly, I would advise that she doesn't go, I mean, she isn't looking too well". She was being honest with her response and just when Samantha was trying to speak that she will be fine, she felt a sharp pain below her abdomen and Linda came to check on her,

She gave her some thing to help her feel the pain less, but she could still feel the pain.

"Am I going to have my baby soonest? She was asking Linda, who shook her head that she isn't sure, but that the baby sure looks like he wants to come out.

They were all quiet for a while, and she was only starting to relax, when she noticed the clock. It is way past the time when he is supposed to have gone out, but he didn't want to.

"I cannot leave you here and just go out, you don't have to look at me like that". He says for she was looking at him like he should just leave her and go.

Samantha was feeling bad. He had so much expectation for the day, and he really wanted her to be close to him, but she just keeps getting sick, she just cannot wait to have the baby, so she could rest.

"Just go please, mother says she is coming, so she will be with me today, you don't have to be here". She begged him and he reluctantly accepted to go, though he promised to be back earlier.

"Whit honey, make sure you stay close to your phone, I will be calling every other time, just to know how you are all doing okay? He says and Whitney chukkled, and in a bit to amuse them all, she says.

"You don't have to say you want to know how we are all doing Dad, just tell me she might not take your call and you will be calling every other time to know how mum is doing". She says and everyone in the room smiles. Craig stroke her head and pulled her close.

"You are so smart and intelligent honey, I am so happy to have you as my daughter".He says and gave her a bear hug before leaving the house and even when he was leaving, he looked back and she still didn't look so well.

He called his grand mother to start coming already that Samantha needs everyone who loves her around.

After he was gone, Samantha looked away, trying to hide her tears.

"You will be fine". Linda says, as she noticed that she is trying to hide her tears from everyone.

"I know Linda, but the truth is, I really wanted to be there for him, he had worked so hard for me to be at the party with him tomorrow, I really don't know how lonely he will be, if by tomorrow, I am not well to be with him? She stared her in the eye, hoping she could tell her that there is something she could give her that will give her strength, but Linda also looked hopeless.

Somehow, she have started to see Linda as a friend. At first she thought she might have interest in her husband, but Linda have proven to be serious minded, which makes her comfortable with her.

She watch as the dress he had gotten her hung on the drawer close to her bed. They were supposed to wear a matching dress and they would go as a family. It would be the first time and the reason for her to come out boldly and accept that she loves him too, and it is on the bases of that love, that she has married him and they are expecting their first baby. With all the awards he would get that night, he is supposed not to be alone.

"Don't worry mum, I will be with Dad all through, you said there are going to be other kids there right? Whitney asked and she nodded.

There is no way she will stop them from going, but being alone with guards and her nurse, she will be bored, but she just have to let them have fun without her, and give her the tale later. All she wants is for him to excel in all his exhibitions and all the apps he has been working on, not to have issues.

Samantha didn't get better throughout the day, instead, she got worse, she was so sick, she couldn't even get up from bed, she was fed and looked after by Craig's grand mother after Linda left, and when Craig came back home, she had to act like she isn't that worse, but her pale face said it all. Craig stayed with her all through the night, massaging her and trying to help ease her pain.

"I could postponed the party you know? He says, while they lay on the bed, she stared into his eyes and shook her head.

"No you won't, you have already invited all the people you should Invite. The plan for tomorrow is set, the team have worked too hard to have a perfect exhibition, you cannot ball on them, they deserve much more than that". She says.

"But I need you around me". He sounded like a baby, and she stroke his head, as he moves his head to her bossom.

"Yes you need me around and I will be around you, all I need you to do for me, is to present well, make your grandparents proud, make me proud. I will be watching it on TV, Your son will be watching too". She says and he nodded his head, believing that something miraculous might happen, before the next day.

How he slept throughout that night, he could not tell, for she was in so much pain later in the night. He woke up very late, and since she was still sleeping and doesn't look so pale like before, he decided not to wake her up, The fact that she finally slept, is the miracle he was asking for. She didn't sleep at night, she kept turning and turning that he almost called Linda to come over. He waited until Linda came the next day, before he left to put somethings together.

All he need to do, is make the day perfect even for her, and he would make his big announcement, whether she is there or not.
