Chapter 7: Chapter 7

Soon Kate and Aaron came home. Charles and Laura were in each other's arms. Kate called her. She ran closer to Kate and started telling her very excitedly, “I remember a little bit. But you know, Kate... “At that moment, Kate stopped her in the middle and asked only one question, “Do you have full faith in Charles?"

Laura's eyes were still watering. She started saying, "I believe on him more than I believe in myself. We love each other very much."

Then Kate felt a little better. But suddenly Charles came and hugs Kate. He began to speak,

"I'm still cursing the moment when I lost you both," Kate felt an affection in that hug. She called him brother for his satisfaction. He was very happy. he asked, "Do you remember everything?"

Kate nodded. She was sad. The only question in her mind was, "Why don't I remember anything?" Although she doesn't remember anything, she did get a brother today. He also said, "You will remember everything."

Just then, Kate got a call from her aunt. She had left the house long ago. It was half past nine in the night. Now she was more afraid of her aunt than the vampire in front of her. Kate picked up the call. And she walks close to Laura and put it on the speaker. Just then a loud noise came from the front...

"What time is it ..? Do you know the clock? If you were going to be late for her house, then you should have informed me Kate!! You are not young now.... You come home today, I will tell you. How many times have I told you to call yourself?" But you don't have time, do you? Now give call to Laura!

Kate was very scared now; she gave the phone to Laura. Laura went out with her mobile. And in the next five minutes she came inside.

Laura came inside with a sad expression on her face and told her, "Your aunt is very angry. You are gone now."

Kate look at her, "Really? I've never seen her so angry. I have to go home. I will leave Laura.” Saying that she was about to leave, when Laura grabbed her hand and she started smiling.

"Crazy girl, you are going to stay at my house today. I need you more today. I have told your aunt that there is no one at home and I am scared so I made Kate stop." Kate breathed a sigh of relief and she hugged Laura.

Aaron and Charles were just looking at each other and thinking... “What is this? Why do these girls behave like that?”

Charles said, “Kate, I have prepared a surprise for Laura. For that I want to take her out for a while. If you want you can come along.”

Kate nodded, “no. Why should I come between you two? I will stop here. Come soon. I will wait...”

Charles replied, “Well then. Will we leave you and her at home when we get back?

Kate nodded. She approached Laura and said something in her ear. "Be careful" and with a smile she walked away from him. Charles was smiling shyly. He took Laura's hand and they both took the car and left.

Now Aaron and Kate were in the house. It went on like this for a while. Kate was watching TV. But her attention was diverted. It was very cold outside and very cold inside also. But Aaron was looking at her and smiling.

Kate look at him, “don’t even think about it. What happened when we are alone? Stay away from me... you are weird!

Aaron smiled, “You’re threatening a vampire? How cute? And yes, ma'am, I don't think like what you are thinking. I already have heard everything from your mind. I can hear as much as you think going confused. I cannot read your mind when you become quite...”

Kate was very embarrassed. The reason was the same, she thought the same.

“Do you sleep? I mean, you vampires also sleep?”

“What is it? Yes we sleep. Everyone needs rest.”

Kate was feeling cold; she was still sitting on the chair. She suddenly asked him, "Do you feel cold?"

Aaron replied, “No. My body is cold. I think you must be feeling very cold. I have warm clothes. Do you want them?”

Kate nodded, “no I’m fine...”

Aaron said, “So I guess you don't want that?”

Kate felt cold again. She asked Aaron for the warm clothes he had. Aaron gave her warm clothes and he went to the kitchen. She put on those clothes and she started looking at the house. The house had eight rooms. The interior and the house were very nice. Just then the earth gave her a voice. She came out and saw Aaron had made a sandwich. Kate was surprised. She asks him, “Do you eat this? And drink blood too?”

Aaron nodded, “Yes  ... But I don't know the taste of it  ... I like its smell so I eat it.”

Kate was smiling to herself, "What does he know the smell of sandwich?? And there are so many misconceptions about it for seeing vampire movies ..."

It was now 10.30pm. Kate was very sleepy. Laura had not yet returned. The TV in front was on. But she was very sleepy. She decided to go to Aaron and ask, "Where do I sleep?"

Kate got up and went to Aaron's room. She looked at Aaron, who was sleeping on the bed. She went and sat next to him. The moon was shining in the room. In the dim light, Aaron seemed very handsome to her. Her mind was pulling her towards him. She was beginning to feel such an anonymous attraction looking at him. She ran her hand through his hair. She still wanted to be more close to him. But she did nothing like that. She just sat there watching him and fell asleep...

The next day -

Kate was in a soft blanket. At the same time, she was sleeping in soft warmth of Aaron. She slowly opened her eyes and looked at him. In his sleep he looked innocent. His hand was on Kate's waist; her hand was around his neck. The two were in each other's arms.

Suddenly she came to her senses. She hit him hard, he moved a little but Kate fell from the bed. Aaron was shaken by the sound... And he couldn’t able to understand what exactly happened??

Kate shouted at him angrily, “Aaron... why did you do that?”
