Chapter 73: Chapter 73

Upon seeing Wyatt step out of the hostel while bridal-carrying me, Arya blinked her eyes in utter disbelief.

Suddenly, Arya's expression changed. She crossed her index fingers and grinned at me before winking mischievously. "Sister-in-law." Arya hailed me once more, and I couldn't help but blush in embarrassment.

Arya's eyes widened immediately, and she rubbed her eyes dramatically. "Oh no! I think I'm seeing things. There's no way I'm not seeing things. My indifferent queen just blushed. No, Maia did. I'm going crazy. I think the world is coming to an end. Should I prepare a coffin? Am I dying in the next minute?" Arya yelled out while waving her hand dramatically.

My lips parted in shock. Why is Arya such a drama queen? She needs to become an actress instead of becoming a general. What does she mean I'm indifferent? I was never indifferent! I huffed and puffed my cheeks out.

Before I could say a word, Arya cut in with a happy smile on her face. "Well, it doesn't matter; if I die tonight, it's worth it." She expressed with a happy smile and closed her eyes.

Suddenly, Arya's eyes flew wide open, and she shook her head like a rattling drum. "But, no. Maia has found her mate. Can I find my mate as well?" Arya threw her hand in the air and feigned a dramatic, loud bawl while clutching her chest deeply.

I couldn't help but smile. Arya definitely takes Asher's dramatic antics; she should have been Asher's sister instead!

Wyatt covered his lips, but I could hear a faint and amusing chuckling sound.

Upon seeing Wyatt's expression, Arya's smile disappeared. She glared hard at Wyatt and grabbed my hand. Due to Arya's cold and angry actions, Wyatt quickly let me down.

Arya glared at Wyatt coldly and stood in front of me as if she wanted to shield me from him. "She's mine!" Arya declared with a growl and then kicked Wyatt's leg angrily.

My lips parted slightly. It's right for Arya to be called a princess. Arya is literally the princess, and I could see it in Wyatt's eyes.

Looking at Wyatt's indifferent expression, I tilted my head while wondering what Wyatt could have done to Arya. Wyatt is literally an easygoing person, right? He couldn't have offended Arya, could he?

I leaned forward and whispered next to Arya's ears. "What's wrong with both of you?" I inquired curiously.

Arya narrowed her eyes and pointed at Wyatt with contempt. "He's a bad person." She expressed, huffed unhappily, and puffed her cheeks.

Immediately, Arya's eyes turned teary, and she sniffled sadly. "He placed a ban on me and prevented me from betting over 50 million, but he ended up betting 150 million. He's such a fraudster." Arya cried out in grievance and wrapped her hand around my shoulder.

50 million? I hear a loud bang in my head.

My eyes widened instantly, and I couldn't help but stare at the two siblings in disbelief.

Didn't Arya claim to have bet on a 6-month fee? Is 50 million wolvese Arya's 6-month meal fee?

I looked up at the sky, and I couldn't help wrinkling my nose in contempt for myself.

I think I'm the poorest one among them and in the history of princesses. Can I not go to dinner? I really want to go to bed and cry myself to sleep! "You bet 50 million?"

Arya separated from me and harrumphed coldly. She glared at Wyatt before nodding seriously at me. "Yes, and it's all because of him." Arya conveyed, and I heard a thunder crack in my head.

Judging by Arya's tone, I knew the reason she bet 50 million was due to Wyatt's restrictions, which means that if Wyatt hadn't restricted her, she'd happily bet more.

Suddenly, I felt 'dislike' gnawed at me deeply due to the flaunting siblings. I pointed at Wyatt seriously. "And he bet 150 million?" I reiterated as if to confirm that I was right.

Arya glared at Wyatt with grievance before nodding seriously. "Yes."

I glared at the two seriously before huffing at them. Gosh! I have no face. I have to find a job that could make me a millionaire within a day.

"I hate the two of you." I stomped my feet and glared at them.

Suddenly, a masculine hand grabbed me tight, and I crashed into the person's embrace immediately. "Come, I'm the only one you should love." Asher conveyed and blew hot air into my ear. "I won't care that you've cheated on me with him." He finalized and beat his chest twice to show his sincerity.

I rolled my eyes dramatically. What nonsense is he talking about now? But…

Since Asher is calm, that means he didn't put in a large amount of money, right? "How much did you bet?" I tilted my head curiously.

Asher shrugged nonchalantly, which indicates that what he bet wasn't much. My eyes lit up, and I couldn't help but sigh in relief. I'm not the only one with the lowest amount of...

"Just 120 million," Asher revealed with an indifferent grin.

Immediately, I kicked Asher's legs and glared at him fiercely. How can he give me so much hope only to toss me down? "I hate you the most," I yelled at him and stormed away.

However, I stopped the next minute; I didn't even know where we were going or the direction of our current location.

My face flushed in embarrassment immediately. What sort of humiliation is this?

I gingerly rubbed my nose and stylishly retraced my steps. "Can we go now?" I inquired in a tiny tone while looking down due to embarrassment.

Asher and Arya burst into a loud laughter while Wyatt's lips curled slightly.

Asher threw his arms around my shoulder and poked my cheeks playfully. "You're so adorable, Miss Maia." He commented.

What adorable? I smacked Asher's unruly hand away and glared at him immediately. "I'm far from it." I declared.

Arya nodded her head seriously. "Yes, you're far from it. Come on, let's leave the hostel." Immediately, Arya grabbed my hand as if she were afraid that Wyatt would take it before she could.

I couldn't help smiling at her actions; she's really adorable. I still can't relate Arya to a cold general.

We all walked out of the school building to see a conspicuous and expensive car brand, which I didn't recognize, but...

Due to the car's sleek, beautiful, and outstanding look, I can see it screaming money. There were a lot of people staring at the car—from meters away—with infatuation, while many were taking pictures of it.

I smacked my lips together. I guess I underestimated the value of the car. How much could it be worth?

Asher and Arya's jaws dropped in disbelief.

I tilted my neck in curiosity while staring at the two in bewilderment.

"Brother, I realized that I really, really hate you so much. I'm fucking disowning you today! No one should beg me." Arya cried out angrily while glaring at Wyatt.

My curiosity began to gnaw deeply; I couldn't help but wonder what was happening between the three and the car.

"Disowning you, +1." Asher nodded his head in support of Arya. "I'm dumping you after I get a ride." Asher massaged his forehead and facepalmed himself dramatically.

"I can't believe I begged you for a whole month, but you won't even let me see your car. Now you're taking it out for the first time, but just to eat lunch?" Asher accused and raised his head to stare at the sky pitifully as if he were questioning his worldview. It was as if he was questioning the decision he had made to become Wyatt's friend.

I felt my curiosity gnaw deepest. I turned to Arya, trusting she'd reveal everything to me, but before I could...

Wyatt sneered coldly at the two. "Who let you in?" He quipped coldly, his expression detached to the bone.

Arya's eyes widened in shock. It felt as if she had been struck with a heavy blow. "Bro…"

"You both have your respective cars. Drive it." Wyatt asserted ruthlessly.

My eyes twinkled in delight. Wyatt is so manly. There's no way I could get tired of staring at him.

"Wyatt Hayes, I'll hate you so much." Arya declared. I understand that she was telling Wyatt that she'd hate him if he didn't let her into his car.

Wyatt's brows arched, looking unbothered by Arya's threat. "Leave." He declared with a detached tone.

Arya glared at Wyatt with grievances; her shoulder fell, and she turned to leave dejectedly.

Arya had only taken a step back before she ran toward him immediately with a pitiful and cute expression.

Arya clutched at Wyatt's cuff link and stared at Wyatt with pitiful, doe eyes, looking like a cute kitten. "Big brother Wyatt, you're the best. I really love you. I love you. I love you so much. Muah. Muah. Muah." Arya expressed in a gushing, cute, innocent childish tone.

Wyatt stared back at Arya nonchalantly, despite how Arya tried to bend him to her will.

My eyes couldn't help but greedily take in the warm scene. I've always wished for an older brother. Unfortunately, I never had one.

Having a big brother who spoils you is the best thing one could ever have.

However, I can't help thinking that it's a good thing that I didn't have a big brother; I can't bear to watch my big brother go through a grain of what I've gone through in Henry's hand.

Thank you, Mom and Dad, for not giving me another sibling.

Surging, sad emotions overwhelmed me immediately.

I bit my lower lip to calm down. This is a good time; I shouldn't ruin it with my sad thoughts.

Arya wrapped her hand around Wyatt's waist and laid her head on his chest. "Big brother Wyatt. Little Arya loves you so much. Big Brother Wyatt deserves all the sweet kisses. Muah, muah, muah." Arya continued whispering in a childish, innocent tone while blinking her big black eyes at him cutely.

I could see that Arya had grabbed the easiest way to get Wyatt to submit to her antics. I could see Wyatt's stance weakening.

"Big brother, huh?" Arya raised her head and pouted her lips pitifully. She began to swing Wyatt's hands childishly. "Big brother, okay. Thank you, big brother Wyatt. I love you so much." She expressed and beamed at him cutely, as if she knew that Wyatt would be saying yes.

Wyatt closed his eyes and finally gritted a 'yes'.

Arya's eyes lit up, and she hugged Wyatt with joy. "Thank you, big brother. You deserve all the kisses. Muah. Muah." Arya hollered and kissed Wyatt's cheeks happily before pumping her fist in the air.

Asher ignored the sibling's act and casually made his way toward the front passenger side while whistling, laid-back.

Wyatt coldly glared at Asher. "You aren't allowed." He ruthlessly cut Asher off.

Asher stood back and eyed Wyatt in disbelief as if he couldn't expect Wyatt to say such words, even though he knew Wyatt would. "Oh?"

Asher suddenly grinned and reached out to open the front passenger seat. "Who can stop me from getting into my friend's car?" He inquired, and with that, he shamelessly got into Wyatt's car.
