Chapter 164: Chapter 164
“Are you okay?” Wyatt touched my forehead. Even though he only took a glance at me, I knew he was indirectly telling me that I could choose to relax for a few days instead of asking us to go to the red flame pack immediately.
I bit my lower lip, blink my eyes, and shake my head immediately. I should have gone to the red flame back for a while, but I’ve delayed it a lot.
But now I realize that even if I don’t consider myself, I need to consider the innocent Red Flame Pack members who need my help. Who knows who the next unfortunate person is after me? The red flame pack is my parents' legacy. I can't let it come to ruins.
“I’ve delayed already.” I squeezed Wyatt’s hands and raised my head to place a kiss on his lips. I’ve delayed already; I shouldn’t anymore.
I raised my head and sighed. “I’m sorry. I should have explained the truth to you all this time.” I blinked my eyes and expressed
“It’s fine. Take your time. I’m here for you, hm?” Wyatt tucked a stray strand of hair behind my ear and pecked my forehead. He extended his hand to hold my hand and interlocked it with his
I nodded, burrowed into Wyatt’s embrace and continued to play with Zierk.
Suddenly, Oswald stepped onto the plane and took a glance around the plane with disdain written in his eyes. “Seems cheap for the best plane in your vampire clan.” He disparaged bluntly.
I massaged my forehead with my hands, knowing that it was time for the three to go at it again. Gosh! How could these mature men become so childish whenever they are next to each other? They don’t fail to get at each other’s throats whenever they have the chance to.
Rex tucked his hand into his pocket and leisurely pronounced with a sneer while walking behind Oswald. “Cheap enough to buy your whole werewolf pack.” He proclaimed
Immediately, Wyatt lifted his head and directed a sharp glare at Rex.
Upon being shot glares at by Oswald and Wyatt, Rex eyed the two and made an attempt to get into a fighting pose...
I sighed in exasperation, balled my hands into fists, and gritted my teeth. They are clearly mature and cold men, but why do they become the opposite whenever they’re around each other?
"I swear to the goddess, if you as well utter a word again, I’ll throw you off the plane, and I’ll be on my way to the red flame pack without you guys. Can you be mature around each other? For once?” I implored helplessly and ran my hands through my hair.
I pointed at the three of them and chided them sternly, “You all are mature rulers; act like one.” I finalized
Immediately, Rex's grievance-filled face fell on me, causing my heart to soften completely.
Rex walked toward me and hugged me, his whole demeanor changing into a pitiful and helpless one so much that it was hard to imagine that he was the same person who was fighting with Oswald and Wyatt a few minutes ago.
Rex raised his chin, pointed at Oswald and Wyatt, and made faces at them. Immediately, he held my hand and bemoaned softly, “Look at them. You can hear them many times; they are bullying me with their sheer volume...”
My jaw fell immediately, and I cut in, “Sheer volume? They are literally two, Rex.” I pressed my lips together while thinking that how come I didn’t know Rex could be so dramatic?
Rex waved his hand with a deadpan expression. “Anyway, if I’m not powerful, they are ready to tear me into pieces.” He pointed at the two dramatically and chided, “I say, those two don’t like me because I’m a vampire and I have the biggest of your affection.” He uttered with a scoff.
Oswald and Wyatt’s expressions changed, and they glared at Rex for uttering that I like Rex the best. “You are speaking nonsense. Bullshit.”
Upon seeing all of their countenance changing again, I pressed my hand against my forehead and sighed in exasperation. “Shut up, you guys. Shut up.” I waved my hands and stood up, finding it tiring to be among these three childish men.
“Anyway, I’ll be sleeping in the cabin.” I pointed my finger and glared at them warningly before they could move a hitch. “Don’t follow me.” I asserted imperiously
Rex nodded his head like a chicken pecking rice and threw air kisses at me. “Alright, wifey. Whatever you want, baby. Don't forget to dream about me.”
Suddenly, he paused and wrapped his hands around me gently. “Nah, I can’t watch you walk like that. It’s laborious. I’ll help you to the cabin.” Rex dramatically lifted me in a bridal style and made his way toward the cabin in a long and fast stride.

“Baby,” Oswald’s soft whisper and nudging suddenly woke me up from my sleep.
I yawned and rubbed my eyes before pursing my lips lazily. “Is it morning already…” I paused when I realized that we were on a plane to the red flame pack. “Are we there already?”
“Not yet, baby. It’s late. Wyatt and Rex cooked your favorite.” Oswald informed me and gently brought me into his arms.
Upon hearing Oswald’s words, my eyes flew wide open, and my sleepiness disappeared. “Wyatt and Rex did what?” Without waiting for Oswald to complete his words, I bolted out of the cabin.
Wyatt and Rex cooked together? How can it be?
Upon arriving at the cabin, I found Rex and Wyatt turning their backs against each other while sipping a cup of coffee. My lips parted…
“Don’t ask me. He joined me.” Rex quickly interjected with a snicker before I could say any words. It was as if he knew what I wanted to ask.
Upon hearing Rex’s words, I realized that Wyatt was sacrificing again just for my sake.
My eyes widened, and my heart melted. This man. Is there anything he won’t do for my sake? I hurried toward Wyatt and burrowed into Wyatt’s embrace. I hooked my hands around his neck and placed a loud kiss on his lips. “Thank you, hubby.”
Upon seeing my act, Rex sprang up in feigned jealousy and placed the cup of coffee on his table. He pointed to me. “Why am I not the one being hugged and thanked here? I closed one eye and let him join me as a sign of a treaty.” He demanded in a feigned cold and overbearing voice.
I stuck out my tongue at Rex and wrapped my hand around his neck. “For Wyatt to make the first move shows how impressive and magnanimous my Wyatt is. Wyatt truly deserves all the kisses.” Immediately, I stuck out my tongue at Rex and kissed Wyatt again.
Wyatt pompously arched his brows and threw a provocative smirk at Rex.
Upon hearing my words, Rex sighed in exasperation. He strode toward me, picked me up, and bemoaned in feigned pity. “Filippa, look at me. This is Rex. your only Rex; how can you be so biased to me?” He pointed out.
I blinked my eyes and threw my chin cockily and playfully. “So what if I’m brazen? What can you do?” I retorted.
Rex leaned forward and licked my ear before biting it fiercely. He blew warm air into my ear and susurrated in a deep and husky tone that sent chills coursing through me. “Careful pup; I can tie you to the bed and leave you unable to walk. Impressive, isn’t it?” He posed while staring at me with darkened eyes and a detached smile.
Upon hearing Rex’s words, I shivered fearfully, knowing Rex had more than enough capability to do according to his words.
I quickly threw my hands around Rex’s neck and coaxed him in a fawning tone while suppressing the urge to cry. “Of course, my Rex is very impressive and magnanimous. There’s no one like you.”
Upon recalling something, I snapped out of it and glared at Rex. “Rex, you liar, you said there will be no punishment if I come with you.” I accused while puffing my cheeks at him unhappily.
“Well…” Rex poked my bulging cheeks and retorted calmly. “You choose that Were over me; what do you think?”
“He’s a Lycan alpha, not a Were.” I huffed at Rex and chided him sternly. Immediately, I extended my hands and began to poke Rex’s chest. “Rex, you jerk. You are very unruly to this princess. You have changed a lot…”
Rex parted his lips, but before he could say a word, Oswald stared at the both of us with a detached expression. “By the time you are both done, the food will be uneatable.”
