Jackie's P.O.V

Walking out of the station I rushed to the parking lot. The thought of her in my head.

Why should it be him

Why should it be my father after all

Flashback

"Dad,"my voice cracked in astonishment.

I couldn't believe it was him , he was the one behind all this.

My eyes swiftly shifted to the body laying on the floor. She was pale and I could see clear cuts on her skin where blood was oozing out. Keeping a step forward I looked at him.

"What did you do to her,?"I growled as I stared at him and pinned him to the wall , his shirt collar fisted in my arm.

"Jackie,"he whispered in a way like he did nothing, my name sounds foreign in his tongue he just called his son like he's found after ages, like he missed for ages . Anger built up in me as I pushed over his left cheek pinning him tight to the wall.

He laughed

He laughed loudly like a maniac as his mouth was filled up with blood.

"You came here to save her,"he growled as my grip tightened over his collar."She was the one who ruined your dad. She was the one who made me kill your mom , it was her,"my grip loosened automatically at the mention of my mom.

My past which I've forgotten striking right in front of my eyes. He killed my mom because of Anna.

"Her dad ruined my business,"

"Your business,you think I don't know what you've been doing,"I roared as I raised him by holding his collar.

My anger rising in me, I fisted my palm into the ball remembering my mom's words telling me to control my anger.

Looking into his eyes I punched across his cheek again which made him fall when I loosened my grip.

Hearing the door bang open I knew that the cops were here, I walked towards Anna, her body laying there helplessly.

My red eyes began to pool up with tears, a feeling of guilt hitting me inside was it because I came late or because it was dad.

Removing my shirt I placed it over her body as her dress was torn. Slowly I carried her in my arms as she hissed in pain and hid her face on my chest.

Walking forward I heard something clinging which made me look down at her palm which she was holding me tight, the chain which I gave her, protected in her palm.

"You will come back to me," I said silently as I walked to the ambulance.

Walking into the hospital hallway I wiped my tears on my track Which was flowing down without my realisation. Walking further I was embraced with a hug by Jon, as I looked completely depressed and crying was something which surprised them. The thought of losing her made my heart break into pieces because she was the light to my life whereas my dad was the darkness in hers. I hope that she forgives me after waking up or even if she doesn't forgive I will beg for one.

"Is she alright,"My voice cracked as I stood there staring at the hallway not even able to move my arms to return Jon's sincerity.

He was about to leave because Amy is at home, I got to know that she kept on weeping and became weak which made her faint.

He tapped my back as he spoke"She is,You gotta be strong alright" he comforted me but all I could think about was her.

The pain she went through.

"She is okay, Everything went good but....,"releasing me from the hug he looked into my eyes.

"But what,"I asked, losing my patience.

It's been three days and she hasn't opened her eyes yet. I insisted on being here with her all day and night as I will be flying the following week, I wish that she opens her eyes and looks at me for once Which would make me happy to leave.

Settling the sheets I walked towards the cupboard and grabbed my phone which was ringing.

"Hello,"I spoke as my voice came out in mere whispers.

"Jackie you better rest,how long are you going to stay without eating and resting,you can take care of her only if you are healthy...stop being a kid. Stop being stubborn. From tomorrow onwards mom and I will stay over,"

"I don't wanna leave her,"I sighed as u sat on the stand which was placed near the bed.

"I know but......,"

I heard a whimper which made me drop my phone and look at her immediately.

She opened her eyes

Looking at her I held her palm which made her look at me curiously.

It's when Jon's words rang a bell in my mind .I stayed there seated looking at her as the nurses and doctors came to check on her.

"She might lose her memory,"
