Anna was standing in front of Amy where mom was standing next to her. Anna brushed her hair off her face with her palm.Leaning forward towards Amy she said " Hey my pills are almost over,shall go to buy some."

"Yes you can but do you know where the pharmacy is situated?" Amy asked by placing the plates beside the pantry, looking at Anna she raised her eyebrows. "I'm sure you would be lost," she chuckled.

"I'm not a kid to be lost," Anna frowned by placing her palms on the either side of her waist where her elbow was away from her body and leaned forward to face Amy closely. "I can go by myself ,"she continued in a rough voice.

Mom smiled and walked towards Anna and handed Amy a bowl "Dear it's better not going alone"

"Yeah. You haven't been out since we moved here Anna," Amy snapped.

Anna immediately glanced away from mom and looked at Amy with a deathly stare. Mom laughed and walked back to the table to get the dishes.

"Amy just lies. ............"

"I'll accompany her," Jackie suggested, walking towards the kitchen by holding his mug. He walked into the kitchen , placed the mug next to the sink and stood next to mom who was grinning at Jackie's request but pretended like she heard nothing.

"That's ridiculous, " Anna said by crossing her arms on her chest. She immediately turned towards Amy to tell her that she doesn't want to move with him but as she turned she saw Amy glaring at her.

"Alright I'll go with him," Anna replied as Amy raised her eyebrows for an answer.

I walked towards the doorway and Jackie followed me. I stood near the garden waiting for Jackie ,looking down at the ground. I pushed my palm into my baggy t -shirt's side pocket, pulling out the paper and cash from my pocket. I scanned through the paper to see the names of the pills.

"Hey,"Jackie walked towards me with a wide appealing smile on his face. Immediately I pushed the papers and the money into my pocket and walked ahead before he could stand in front of me.

We walked down the narrow road without a word. I was walking in front and Jackie followed me.

"Hey" Jackie strolled down quickly and walked by my side.

"Will you mind if I ask you something,"Jackie asked by inserting his palm into his navy blue jeans. He wore navy jeans ,white t-shirt with the tick of Nike printed on it.

"Yes I will mind," I muttered, taking a look at him for a second and turning back to see the way.

Silence captured the surroundings instantly. The road was with no crowd ,the dim sky made the surrounding grey and the chirping of the bird could be heard clearly.

"What,"I asked, looking at my baby pink shoes.

"Hmmm why do you consume pills?" he asked fondly with care.

I swiftly looked at him which made him stop walking. Moving my gaze away , I continued to walk where Jackie walked by my side without uttering a word.

"It's an accident. My head was knocked hard which resulted in me being in a coma for nine months,"I revealed softly.

"Then Amy"

"She was here for her higher education,"

"Your parents, "

"They died that day;"I replied in a broken voice.

Jackie stopped and looked at me while I was looking at him with an unreadable emotion.

"I'm sorry, " he apologized softly which made a smile appear on my face for his tone.

"That's okay ," I replied casually and walked further.

"Hey I'm sorry. I didn't mean it,"he strolled next to me" I didn't know about it," he rubbed the back if his neck and called out "Anna,"

"Yeah,"I turned towards him by stretching my pink sleeves.

"The pharmacy is here," he said, pointing to the left.

I turned around curiously and my jaw dropped to the ground. The pharmacy was huge and I guess that there is every sort of medical item. I looked at the interior through the glass "oh....my....God..." I uttered

to myself with surprise. This was spotless. I could see many pills and syrups boxed up on the shelf and there were some wheelchairs and walking sticks placed at the edge of the room.

I stood in front of the door on the rug where the transparent door automatically slided to the sides. I stepped in and instantly turned around towards Jackie who was about to step in after me. Before the slides joined " I'll get by myself;"I said with a wide smile on my face, therefore it won't be harsh.

"Alright," he stepped back and stood on the right side leaning over the glass.

Jackie looked around observing every view in the morning sight. He moved away from the glass when he Anna's voice greeting "Thank you"

Anna stood in front of the entrance and stepped out when the shutter splitted . She was stationeried as she stepped out. With a timid smile on her face ,her eyes were attached to the ice cream parlour,which was situated opposite the pharmacy. A huge ice cream with vanilla cream,coated with chocolate sauce and chocolate chips was kept next to a small cabin. The cabin was painted in rainbow colours where the menu was stuck on the left wall. The banner placed on the cabin read "Love Cold."

She stood on her tippy toes and turned towards her right to face Jackie who was staring at her cluelessly.

"I want an ice cream.What about you?" She asked by moving the bag of pills upwards and backwards as a swing. Getting on to her toes she moved with interest "huh," with a broad smile on her which would gobble her whole face up.

"No,I'm not in a mood," Jackie replied by looking at the cabin and he turned towards his left to face Anna.

"Oww," Anna growled at him " well! I have a mood" she told him and walked straight by swinging the bag.

"Do people really need a mood to eat an ice cream," she grumbled to herself "Oh yeah maybe because he's not a human. "

Anna stood in front of the cabin examining the menu.

"Get me one chocolate chip ice cream and a blue blast ."

She pushed the money towards the counter and swiftly looked at the person who was grabbing a pair of cones from a packet.

"Here comes your ice cream," the person in the cabin said by wrapping a tissue around the cone.

He winked and held the ice cream to Anna,she walked towards the table where Jackie was seated.The table was in a circle shape where the chair was placed opposite to each other. A pole was going through the center of the table.

There was a massive umbrella joined at the end of the top pole. The umbrella was pink in colour as Anna's t-shirt. Tiny pictures of ice creams with bold eyes , with a smile on its cream were printed on the umbrella.The umbrella was so big, that almost five people could stay under it to protect themselves from the rain.

Anna settled in the chair without dragging the chair away from the table,because she was holding the ice cream in both her hands. Chocolate chip ice cream was on her right and she was holding the blueberry ice cream in her left. She rotated herself towards her right trying to settle her legs under the table. She lifted her right shoulder up , because she felt uneasy as when she dragged her legs towards the right by sitting on the chair ,her t-shirt was pulled and she was seated on it. She moved her head upwards towards the right because her bangs were over her face which made her feel itchy. She blew it off her face and paused when she realised that Jackie was chuckling.

"You make me feel awkward, "she blurted by moving her head forcefully, which made her bang to move to the side of her cheek.

She licked the chocolate chip ice cream which she was holding in her right ,moving the blueberry ice cream forward by stretching her arm she asked by curling her eyebrows

" You really don't want to. "

"Nope,"Jackie replied by nodding his head.

"Alright" cheerfully Anna licked the blueberry ice cream.

She continued to lick the ice cream from right and left. Abruptly she paused while her lips were on the chocolate chip ice cream when Jackie spoke.

"Hey will you be my partner," he asked frankly without hesitating.

Anna gasped and moved her mouth away from the cream. Wiping her upper lip with the back of her right palm she asked curiously " Huh! For What,"

"Party," he replied in a flash.

"What party"

"I'll tell you the details later," he rubbed the back of his neck by taking his sight away from Anna

"Now tell me yes or no," looking at Anna he rested his arms on the table at either side of the pole which was fixed at the center of the circular table.

"Why on earth do you want me to be your partner? " she asked, taking another lick of the blue berry ice cream.

"Ohh Hmmm, "he looked into her eyes " well I want a numbskull to be my partner. "

Both remained in silence while Anna was glaring at Jackie and he didn't take his sight off her by not removing the smirk on his face. Anna moved forward and moved the cone towards Jackie,instantly she brushed the ice cream over his nose before he could realise.

"For what was that,"he moaned by rubbing his nose with the back of his palm.

"I'm not a numbskull ,"a wide smile appeared on her face. " You are." She took a huge amount of ice cream in her mouth.

Jackie stood next to Anna while she continued to take a mouthful of ice cream.

"Where is the bag ?" Jackie asked by pushing his palm into his pockets.

"Oh shit"she looked up at him "I left it on the counter. Can you get it for me"

He looked at her without replying.

"pleeeease" she pleaded.

"Alright," he groaned.

Swiftly she continued to lick the ice cream after his reply. Jackie moved forward and pushed her left palm upwards where the chocolate cream squashed on her left cheek.

He walked away towards the counter with long steps and turned around by laughing to see Anna who was growling and rubbing her cheek with the back of her palm which made the cream to spread all over her cheek.Then she lifted her left palm to rub her cheek ,the blueberry ice cream which was in her left palm brushed over her hair.

" Jackie I'll kill you" she growled by walking towards the sink.
