Chapter 10: Chapter 10

Jackie entered the library and turned around to see Anna walking after him. He walked further and searched for the letter in the shelves and under the shelves.

"I'll help you",Anna recommended by looking around at the ground while entering the library. Anna fetched for the letter on the sitting area of the library and Jackie hunted on the shelves.

Jackie walked in front of the last shelf where the book was kept before he took it. He bent and looked under the shelf and found nothing. He stood up and looked in the shelf by pushing some books to see whether the letter was underneath those books,then he saw a paper kept on an empty space between two books on the other shelf. He walked towards that shelf immediately and grabbed the paper from the shelf.

"It's the letter "he said to himself and remembered that he kept it there before he walked away with the book.

"Shit! She is gonna kill me if she knows that I found the letter" Jackie instructed to himself.

"Did you find it?"Anna shouted,Jackie immediately pushed the paper in his pocket and turned towards his right to see Anna walking towards him.

"Did you find it?," she asked doubtfully.

"Nope," Jackie replied quickly before she let out a breath after the question.

"Then why ain't you searching for it?" she asked, crossing her hands over her chest.

"Ohhhh ....that's okay. Let it be. That isn't damn important. " he said by punching in the air.

"If it is not important. Why the hell did you blame me? Why the hell do you need to find that letter tonight?",she asked, furrowing her eyebrows in frustration.

"You found it" she snapped again.

Jackie scratched the back of his head and said "hey I am not lying. I just hmm. .......It's urgent "

"What is urgent?",Anna asked in a rough tone.

"Ohhhh Jackie she's gonna bite your ears if she knows that you got the letter. Why the hell did you wake her up idiot ",Jackie's subconscious asked.

"Washroom,"he replied and left the library immediately.

After breakfast Jackie went to the sitting room to watch television. While he was watching a movie Anna entered the sitting room which destroyed his interest in the movie. He looked at her when she entered and he turned towards the TV before she could realise. She walked towards the center and stood in front of the center table where the TV was almost covered. Jackie looked at her without giving out a word. She grabbed the remote off the table and switched off the TV. By replacing the remote she stepped towards Jackie and stood in front of the sofa where Jackie was seated . By standing a few distance away from Jackie's legs Anna looked at him in horror.

"You got the paper right ,"Anna questioned by furrowing her eyebrows. "For no reason you questioned me"she continued.

"Hey come on sweetheart, just forget it ,"Jackie replied by waving his hand in the air in a dramatic way.

"I'm not your sweetheart" she moved closer "You are lying,"she said by pointing at his chest.

"Come on darling don't be angry. You look scary ,"Jackie replied calmly which made Anna burst out.

"I'm not your darling "she stated"And I never asked any comments. "

Jackie wanted to move away but he couldn't because if he stood he would almost push Anna.

"Oh God" he sighed "It's I I "he tried to answer hesitantly but he didn't complete his sentence because their attention was grabbed by Bray when he showed up saying " Hey Anna. "

"What's wrong ?"Bray asked by

looking at Anna.

"Bray saved me. I'm trapped by a huge monster," cried Jackie.

Anna looked at Jackie and turned towards her right to face Bray when he was about to speak.

"Ohh what's wrong my darling. Why are you angry?You look like my high school science professor. "

Anna stepped back and turned towards Bray by glaring at him with horror.

"He just came into my room while I was sleeping last night just to ask where a letter is. But it was not my fault he just disturbed my sleep and said it was me who lost the letter.But now he found the paper and he's saying that he hasn't ." She sighed.

"Cool. This is simple. You want to know why he didn't tell you that he found the paper. ,"Bray asked.

"Exactly, "Anna stated by pointing in the air.

"It is because he doesn't want his ears to be bitten. But unfortunately it is happening now" he replied by keeping his palm on his chest in a dramatic way.

Anna glared for more than a minute at Bray. Bray looked at Jackie and raised his eyebrows "I wrote the business meeting speech in that paper dude,"Jackie said.

Anna didn't take her gaze away from Bray.

"One" Jackie said and got up from the sofa.

"Two,"Bray said and kept a step back.

"Three" both chorused and ran.

Anna ran after them but she couldn't catch them immediately. They ran all around the hallway and she followed them ,she grabbed a fork from the dining table and went after them.

Jackie and Bray were leaning against the wall panting.

"She is chasing relentlessly,"Jackie said by keeping his hand on his stomach.

Anna entered the library and locked the door. Jackie and Bray faced each other by raising their eyebrows and looked straight when they heard footsteps to see Anna walking towards them.

"I'll get you a chocolate,"Bray suggested with a grin on his face.

Anna turned towards Jackie by holding the fork straight in the air.

"I'll get you ice cream,"Jackie suggested by standing straight with a wide smile on his face.

She immediately turned towards Bray and walked forward. While she was some inches away from Bray,she pointed the fork over his chest.

"Do I look like your professor, "she asked with a frown on her face which made Bray move his head to the right and then to the left to say no. Anna moved her head forward and stepped behind in a flash when she heard Amy.

"Anna" Amy shouted from downstairs.

She immediately dropped the fork to the ground,wiped her sweat with the back of her palm by rubbing her forehead and cheeks,she pulled her sleeves on her shoulder and stretched her t-shirt from the bottom. She removed her band which was around her ponytail and tied a ponytail again. She looked up at Bray and asked,"Do I look like I ran?"

"No,"he replied, staring at her surprisingly. Jackie stared at her without a move.

"Do I look tired?," she asked again.

"No,"Bray replied quickly after the question.

"Perfect, "she said to herself and walked towards the door.

"I'm here,"Anna informed and knocked at the door by keeping her elbow on the door jamb of her right side and leaning her head on her palm.

Amy opened the door and looked at Anna's smiling face by curling her eyebrows.

"Did you run?" Amy questioned by stepping forward.

"No!" Anna replied and stood straight by brushing her hair off her face.

"You look tired" Amy told by crossing

her arms on her chest.

"Do I " Anna whispered.

Amy stared at Anna for a moment and called Jackie and Bray while they were walking towards grandpa's room.

"Yeah" both chorused and came towards them.

"Did Anna ......?"Amy didn't complete her question because Bray replied before the question.

Amy stood between the doorway,Anna stood at the right side of the door frame and Jackie and Bray were standing next to each other at the left side of the door frame.

"No" Bray replied before the question was completed.

"What" Jackie whispered by moving slightly towards bray.

"Yeah" Jackie complained by looking at Anna. Anna turned towards him with a stare.

"I am pretty sure she has done something. What did she do?" Amy asked by looking at Jackie.

"She ..."Jackie murmured by looking at Anna with a smirk. "She was fig...."

"She was playing with us" Bray interrupted by looking at Jackie.

Jackie raised an eyebrow"yeah" he sighed hesitantly.
