Chapter 83: Chapter 83

I smiled, even though he was mad at me, that his gestures may seem rude and it hurts me that he won't let me near him, but deep down, I know he loves me. It's kind of my fault after all for hiding my secrets from him, but at the same time, it reassures me that he still thinks of me with such possessiveness. Yes, I am with pleasure.

" I know...I'm yours, my love...I'm your Luna."

Greg stopped not believing his eyes, no, it's impossible. Sophia isn't part of them, her mother was a lycanthrope and her father was certainly a human seeing how her mother became a rogue living among humans.

He bit his lip, it must be a manifestation of Sophia's power, indeed, that was the explanation.

Sophia held out her hand as Greg saw reflections of light rippling around him like tree branches, the fairy atmosphere around him making him more relaxed and the anger at Sophia's lie dissipating. He looked like he was caught in an illusion, feeling the breeze of a spring forest, the flowers and leaves pleasantly hitting his face giving him an invigorating feeling. He felt like angels were singing in his ears and he was floating in cotton, it was an incredible feeling as he looked down at Sophia in amazement.

"Sophia…"

" Tell me that you love me... don't get angry with me anymore, please."

It was like a siren song, everything Sophia said to him was what he had in the back of his mind. It seemed like she was reading his innermost thoughts, what he wanted to say but this anger prevented him from doing so. He smiled, despite Sophia's appearance, she was still his Luna, the woman he was desperately and deeply in love with.

He bent down and put his lips on Sophia's, kissing her delicately.

" I love you, my sweetheart."

Sophia resumed her normal appearance as she circled his hips with her legs inviting him to continue. He sighed before starting to come and go inside her again in a changing cadence, sometimes gently, sometimes roughly, but always for her pleasure and also his.

A few hours later, he was at the window while Sophia was fast asleep, that disgusting smell around her had disappeared and that was good. He watched the glints of the moon hit Sophia's milky skin, seeming to make it glow beneath her. It looked like the moon goddess herself was showing him what matters most to him on this earth. He smiled before remembering what happened earlier when he was picking her up.

Sophia had a rare appearance that hadn't been seen in Capital City for at least two centuries, that was before these people were not banished because they were treated as evil. Neither witches nor Chiroptera let alone lycanthropes could contain their power said to be extremely dangerous for creatures. Not to mention the fact that despite their extreme beauty, it was forbidden to mate with one of them, the result being catastrophic.

Many deviants of each species had emerged, threatening the balance between the species, hence their banishment and mass killing.

He shook his head, indeed Sophia can't be related to this race, interbreeding is impossible because Sophia's mother was a lycan, so having a child with an alfe would have resulted in a hideous and dangerous monster.

This is not the case with his Luna. She is beautiful and controls her lycanthrope side.

It is impossible. She couldn't have this cursed half.

" Amazing"

Jessy was seated in front of other people including the leader of their organization, Sophia's grandfather, André. He couldn't believe his eyes.

" So interbreeding was possible? I can't believe it, Sam had copulated with an alfe and gave birth to a healthy being, not a deviant and the child is of incredible power."

" So this guy you killed 18 years ago was an alfe?"

" I couldn't imagine it, he didn't even try to use his powers to defend himself, he let himself be killed so easily that I thought he was a human."

" When Sophia told Jessy that her father was an omega, it seemed so unreal to me that this man hadn't seemed to be one of us. I can understand now…"

" He had to restrain himself so as not to put his child in danger as the child of an alfe born from the union with another species."

" If he had known that it was not the members of Soul Moon or the Alliance but about us the Shield of Rain, I am sure that he would have fought with his real skills…"

" I also think... either bring my grandchild back to me, she must join our cause. Jess, I want you to tell her that I changed my mind for Sam's sake... I'm ready to give her the family she came to Capital City for."

The man laughed as Jessy left to fulfill his order.

" Master and for the DNA?"

" What a silly question, it will help us to create even more powerful mutants, it's not only the DNA of an overpowered alpha that we have but of an alpha with major alfe powers… is priceless."

The man smiled as he opened a door where many scared people were trapped.

" Dirty humans rejoice because your existence will finally be useful. You dared to make us hide mingling with you like your fellows. We are superior beings, we are stronger, smarter, and live longer than you, why is it up to us to hide? Things are about to change, thanks to me, once I resume my place as ruler of this town, I'm going to make sure to give you back the place you deserve... i.e. our slaves"
