Chapter 65: Chapter 65

Greg had just arrived at the hospital belonging to Rayan because the latter, despite the activities of the pack, was a doctor by training.

It was a will of Greg's mother to create for her sister Elsa and her a clan where their sons could deploy their potential in several sectors of activity creating an empire.

Rayan after his medical studies had therefore decided to open a hospital that had become one of the largest and most famous in the country.

Greg then before taking the elevator towards the top floor reserved for members of the pack who are close to them; so as not to mingle with the rest of the users.

The medical personnel on this floor are also made up of lycanthropes in case the treatment involves a transformation into a wolf.

Greg arrived in Elias' room and found Rayan giving him the final exams. Elias was still in a coma but according to Pamela, his life was not in danger and his coma was not deep. In two or a few days he would wake up. He didn't like his people to be hurt and in those cases, he became ruthless.

He looked at this poor man on the bed and frowned, he had half of his face bandaged covering his left eye to his cheek. His neck and arm were also in plaster, and the other hand was injured.

He sighed before stepping closer to Rayan.

" So what happened?"

Rayan gave Elias' file to the nurse who was with them and she bowed slightly leaving the room as the two, making sure the woman was out of earshot, started talking.

" As you know, the popular drug I told you about the last time was reported in a shed near the port to the south. There must have been a huge flow in the city and the rest of the country wherever lycanthropes live, but we intercepted the information in time. I'm not telling you what a mess it would have been if all that drug had ended up on the streets for all the young omega lycanthropes to use. But on our side, I am convinced now we have several moles which certainly prevented our enemies from moving their goods because our synergy of actions is limited to the three of us only but unfortunately it gave them time nevertheless to lay a trap for us.

" So they waited until Elias was in the hangar."

" Indeed, once he found himself inspecting the goods, they took the opportunity to detonate a few bombs to both get rid of clues that could help us learn more about their activities and get rid of one of us."

" A plan finely woven wholesale."

* Yes but you know, Elias is a young man full of resources. Before the explosion went off, he had time to take a sample of this drug, the quantities of which had not yet been diluted, and put some in his pocket before fleeing to the back of the Hangar. When I arrived I found him in terrible condition but he was still conscious, he said he saw the stray badge."

" The Wanderers rogue? Do you mean to tell me that whoever's behind this is that shit that was defeated by the Alliance decades ago?"

" It's only a guess, we'd have to wait until Elias wakes up to find out for sure, but so far everything matches this idea."

Greg clenched his fist before running his hand through his hair.

" Why is all this happening at exactly this time? Indeed, the threat of the rogue wolves was never really extinguished but we had managed to control it, but for some time they have been showing themselves to be more and more virulent, and it seems that they have had a renewal of energy."

" Scarlett spoke of a great guide within their community who would have spoken of the appearance of a creature whose special powers would be able to allow them to carry out their nefarious plans."

" Ah, I had forgotten that I had asked her to research the matter. So these are her conclusions"

" Yes, according to her, the information is circulating by word of mouth and reveals that these rogue wolves are looking for this mythical being... What fiction don't you find? To believe in such things at their age."

" I would not be so sure of myself in your place. They may be fanatics but if they are ready to put the Clan and even the Alliance on their backs just for superstitions, if they even managed to get some members in our ranks to ally themselves with their so-called storytelling, then there must be some truth to this story."

"But Greg even if it's a story that deserves special attention especially when such extremist acts are posed, you told me about the kidnapping of children, but what Scarlett told me is a little too big."

" Tell me."

" This creature can assimilate the powers of all other fantastic creatures. Witches, lycanthropes, and even vampires. I don't want to talk to you about the other races but you can see the story a bit."

Greg remained calm for a moment before deciding.

" It's time we took this threat seriously. I will call an emergency meeting with the leaders of the major Clans. Aisha had already talked about it. Now is the time to implement this."

He put his hand on Elias' forehead before deciding to leave, determined to protect his world by any means possible.
