Chapter 48: Chapter 48

Hell, but who is this woman and why is she so close to Greg?

In front of me, a buxom slut was glued seductively to Greg as she had that sparkle in her eyes that I could recognize among a thousand.

It's love.

This woman was in love with Greg and perhaps was even his girlfriend. He told me later he's not a Playboy so he sure has a lover. He's not a robot for not having needs anyway.

But why, when I see this woman too close to him, do I just want to rip her head off? Every cell in my body is boiling as I feel a black rage invading my mind.

I closed my eyes trying to control myself but to no avail, every cell in my body was screaming at me to kill her because she is close to what is mine.

No, what am I thinking? What belongs to me? Greg and I are no longer together and it has been for years, he has the right to have his own life and I mine, I even already have a life of my own away from him so why do I feel like this?

I can reason with myself but in vain, I continue to feel a lot of hatred and jealousy at this precise moment.

Greg looked at the newcomer with boredom, it was a famous model from one of his modeling agencies. She was so famous but also everyone knew her unhealthy love for him and she didn't hide it.

Fortunately, it was him. It is known in their circles, a model who has a romantic relationship is taking risks, it's like shooting herself in the foot, and her fans would not support it. But with the influence of Greg Travis and the fact that he has always ignored the feelings of the woman while ensuring that her reputation remains intact, he has been able to silence all the bad rumors.

But at this moment, while she is still acting in a childish way as usual, he feels very angry because the circumstances are different.

Today he has his Luna with him and with the hostile pheromones she gives off, she is not at all happy with the closeness between the two.

Even if Sophia's conscience tells her not to interfere, her more territorial wolf's conscience tells her to mark her property and if that continues, she will hurt this woman.

Not that he cares but frankly, he doesn't know where Sophia's anger would lead, and if she will transform into Wolf. This woman is human; it would be tragic to reveal the true nature of Sophia like that.

So he shifted the cold face a bit as the woman pouted. She looked aside finally noticing the presence of this girl in Greg's office and frowned detailing Sophia

Sophia for her part had calmed down once Greg had put some distance between the woman and him and he was well reassured now.

"Greg ... But who is this ... girl?"

She eyed the girl contemptuously, giving her a look of contempt that Sophia quickly detected.

I frowned at the contemptuous and condescending gaze of this woman as I also gave her a cold look. Who is she and what is her relationship with Greg?

Greg noticed this electrical exchange between the two women and decided to unblock this situation which could escalate in the future.

"Sherry I present to you Sophia Carpenter my new assistant, Sophia here is Sherry Argentis a model under the supervision of my conglomerate."

I nodded as I took a good look at her, and finally, I recognized her. It was this famous model whose popularity has skyrocketed for three years. The tabloids said it was due to a chance meeting with a patron who noticed her during a second-rate advertising campaign and signed her with his agency. Since then, her popularity and influence have only grown to the point of becoming a reference in the fashion's entertainment around the world.

So this patron is Greg? And now they are dating? I scowled, even if it's none of my business, this woman is not worthy of Greg. The TV is fine. In truth, she is not that famous and I find her far too swollen everywhere.

She looks like a horrible balloon, surgery can unfortunately not work miracles but certainly, with make-up and filters, she looks good on TV.

Oh, what am I thinking? But this woman comes out of my ears there.

Greg watched Sophia and he could imagine all the insults playing in her mind. He sighed before he heard Sherry giggle.

"Oh, your assistant? I guess it's true, it's obvious that Greg Travis wouldn't bother with such an ordinary girl at his side... Unless it's the small staff…"

I gritted my teeth as this woman was insulting me. Then I calmed down, it was my first day on the job and I don't want to embarrass Greg by attacking his Featured Model. But I don't think I'll hold back for long.

" Oh, babe I have…"

Greg scowled before cutting her off, he hadn't taken Sherry's insult to Sophia and his tone was cold and menacing enough to make it clear to her as Sherry took a step back.

" I have already asked you to address me formally because the only relationship that exists between us is professional. Stop creating ambiguous situations and attracting false rumors about our relationship. Furthermore, I would be grateful if you would not offend Sophia with your manners lacking in class and distinction. You shame the agency that employs you with this absurd and childish behavior."
