The hours that followed were very stressful for me to the point where I couldn't sleep a wink. It was still getting very early so of course when Elsa said she would be back in the evening, I felt like it would be days before she came back and I don't know why I had that feeling.

I watched the door open and saw Jessy walk in. He seemed concerned which made me tick. He had a problem? I don't know if it's still Elsa who puts him in this situation, in any case, she also makes me uncomfortable.

He came to sit next to me and grabbed my hand. I was lost by his gestures wondering what he had in mind especially with this look he was giving me. It made me really uncomfortable and I felt my cheeks heat up.

" Hm Jessy?"

He moved a little too close to me as I could feel his warm breath tickle my face. I swallowed wanting to shift. Every cell in my body was screaming in horror when Jessy is not what you would call repulsive.

Not far from there, the guy is so hot that I wonder why he is not a model or a celebrity in the damn town.

Where's the fact that he's an omega of a ruined pack? Certainly the rules of this city are enacted by the creatures that mingle with humans without them noticing. But if that's how Jessy should leave this town, no doubt he would be successful in another.

Returning to what was happening, I felt Jessy's hand slip under my skirt as he brought his lips closer to mine.

I pushed him away brutally before getting up from there with a scandalized face.

" What the hell are you playing there Jessy?"

He stood up putting his hands in his pocket as he looked guilty.

" I beg your pardon... I think I got carried away by my emotions..."

I frowned, getting carried away by his emotions? What did he think I was? A way to release his frustration?

There he disappoints me I didn't think so too... Inconsiderate.

" I can understand that the presence of Elsa puts you in all your states... Yes I can do it perfectly because it's the same for me. But from there to wanting to use this anger as an excuse to make your way between my legs, I didn't think of you that way Jessy... You disappoint me a lot."

Jessy sat down again with his head bowed as the locks of his hair hid his face. So I couldn't see his expression but I saw his shoulders shaking as if he was crying and my anger immediately dissipated.

" Jessy... I... I didn't mean all that, listen I..."

"Do you really think I'd want to sleep with you because of that woman? Hm Sophia you seem to have such a poor image of me."

He got up and walked towards me. He grabbed my shoulders and kissed my forehead making my heart skip a beat.

"You still do not understand?"

I opened my eyes wide before I felt him walk away.

I'm going ... Rest Sophia."

He opened the door before closing it behind him while I stood there not knowing what to do. Did he just give me some kind of declaration? No I must be making up my mind, there's no way Jessy feels something like that for me.

I pursed my lips as I put my hand on my chest whose heart was beating abnormally fast. Jessy is very handsome, he is sexy and very attractive. But it's not my alpha.

I mustn't think of him that way, it's not right.

But the more I thought of that thought in mantra form, the more I thought back to Jessy's actions from earlier. He really wanted to sleep with me? The fact that I said he wanted to relieve himself hurt him and what he wanted to imply... Does Jessy have more than friendly feelings for me?

I shook my head deciding not to think about it too much. Jessy is my friend that's all. This happens because of the stress due to the presence of Elsa here. Once she leaves, everything will go back to how it was.

Speaking of which, when is she leaving again? The ceremony is over, we don't need her anymore and she can see that apart from Tom the other occupants of the house can't stand her. She should understand the gestures and details, and just get the hell out of there.

I sighed before thinking about that. She's from Soul Moon and Tom asked her to help me. She is very influential in the pack and Tom still managed to bring her in. How? Are they lovers? No matter how much I look at them, it doesn't show.

I laid my head on the pillow thinking back to all those stories.

I have a hidden sponsor, Tom is buddy buddy with a Soul Moon big shot, I now have to accompany Elsa a female member of the pack responsible for my misfortune to a party as if we are the best friends in the world, and finally Jessy acts weird around me.

Damn give me some peace please.

I closed my eyes as I felt a soothing scent come to calm my nerves. I fell into a deep sleep feeling all my worries disappear without noticing that someone had jumped out the window and was now stroking my head tenderly. I smiled in my sleep before I felt like someone was putting their lips on mine.

My alpha.

I got up as if struck before looking out the window at the black sky as Elsa opened the door all smiles

" It's time princess, you have to get ready."

I put my hand to my lips before lifting the sheets over my nose. Why was there this familiar yet foreign smell on my sheets? As if... Yes as if another person was there and soaked them in his pleasant smell. I closed my eyes breathing in the scent deeply as Elsa smiled in the distance.

" Ah, my little Greg, you couldn't keep yourself from coming to her, did you?"

She whispered seeing the smile on the girl's lips as her cheeks were on fire.

She decided to give Sophia a moment to enjoy her alpha's gift as she exited the bedroom.

She passed Jessy and frowned remembering a few hours earlier. She had come to see if Sophia was sleeping when she saw this boy coming out of her room. His smile at that moment was blood curdling and she knew he had done something dangerous.

He crossed it without a word and she went to Sophia's room but before she felt her nephew very close and decided not to enter.

She has to get Sophia away from this damn boy as soon as possible.
