Chapter 19: Chapter 19

The moment had finally arrived when my inner wolf was still so calm. I wondered if he too apprehended like me at this moment which would explain his silence but at some point it became heavy.

" Hey you, answer me when I talk to you. Why are you ignoring me ? What are you blaming me for and so you decided to piss me off? How old are you? Stop childishness."

I sat down sadly lowering my head.

"It's not funny anymore, I need you, we are a team, I miss you."

But no matter how much I begged, he remained silent, so I realized that I had really upset him. I heard the door open letting Elsa in as she was still smiling at me.

" He will never answer you again, you know. He is going through the process on his own. His consciousness and yours are uniting and soon you will be able to develop your lycanthropic instincts without having to talk to him because your body will act on its own. In the same way you will also be able to understand more easily certain details which escaped you until then and become an adult lycan in its own right."

I sighed reassuredly, so that was it. I, who got sick of myself for nothing, I feel stupid here.

Elsa nodded before taking my hand and leading me to a place whose secret passage is behind Tom's counter. There was a secret trapdoor with a long tunnel in the basement. It was dark and scary when I could already feel the pressure building up inside me. I almost threw up. My heart was beating so fast before I felt a draft gently hit my face. It looked like we were coming to the end of this tunnel and soon the moon, as beautiful as it was, lit up my view of a huge forest.

I frowned wondering if I had ever noticed such a forest. It's true the place where the Shield of Rain and my grandfather are hiding is a forest but it wasn't that lush. I looked around me as the trees rustled all around me in the wind and the moon reflected in a huge circle drawn on the ground seemed more impressive than ever. And was it me or did she seem closer?

It was as if I could touch it, feel it with my fingertips and instinctively I raised my hand as if to grab it but it was far too unreal to do so.

Elsa smiled looking at the girl and immediately felt proud of her nephew, she was powerful, not even awake and she already felt their goddess to the point of wanting to grab her. He had made the right choice without a doubt. What could be more normal, he is the son of her older sister.

I looked at the ground under my feet to find a rather strange pattern there in fact. I've had to read a lot of novels to pass the time - that doesn't mean I'm a geek at all, it's just that some were exciting - anyway I read books about witches and stuff and there were always these signs that I see drawn on the ground. They looked like ouroboros lines with a five-pointed star at its center. It really felt like I was in one of those black magic novels and I felt like the heroine of a fictional novel, it was so exciting.

Elsa positioned me in the center of the circle as Tom came up with a woman who was wearing a black hood over her head. She really looked like a witch, not the ones you see in children's stories, no she was seriously sexy with a tight dress and a daring slit that went up on her hips. Damn she had a hot body and had a temptress walk. That was a witch as we like to see them in the series.

She took off her cape and let me admire her long, wavy, scarlet hair moving in the wind. She was very beautiful and her face despite my thoughts that she must be a witch was surprisingly sweet. I must have been wrong, it must be a lycan too.

"Sophia, I present to you the witch of our pack, Scarlett."

Oh no, she really is a witch.

The woman bowed respectfully to me before nodding at Tom and Elsa who stepped out of the circle as she raised her hands up and recited an incantation.

" Satus vestri mutatio"

After those few words I felt my body become so heavy, it felt like my body was being crushed by a one ton object. I felt my limbs let go as my breathing quickened exponentially and became short and jerky. My throat started to burn and a wave of heat invaded my body. I was nauseous and I felt a wave of fever take me while I lost my strength little by little finding myself belly on the ground. I looked around and only noticed Scarlett standing there and then two huge wolves stood by her side and I didn't really know what I was seeing as my eyesight was blurred and my mind was straining. mislead but I have the impression that the witch grabbed a bowl and that the two wolves poured a few drops of their blood into it, which she combined with another product. I frowned as she moved around me, continuing to sing as my ears buzzed. I felt like a swarm of bees was flying around my head in a maddening noise as I put my hands over my ears, the noise becoming an infernal and unbearable cacophony. I screamed at the tingling sensations in my body. It felt like many fire ants were stinging me all over. I started squirming all over the floor and soon I was throwing up and sweating profusely.

The sensations in my body were uncomfortable and I only needed one thing, for it to stop, but according to Scarlett's incantations which were getting more intense, I hadn't left the inn.

For her part, Elsa as a wolf did not understand why it was taking so long. It's true, she grew up with humans and as such, which may have slightly altered her lycanthropic senses, but making it so difficult was strange. She felt the cells in her body boil and had to roll onto her stomach in submission. She wasn't the only one because Tom was too. The only person who can put them in such a position is her nephew but this girl even though she transforms still manages to do it, her pheromones were far too powerful, they had to manage to channel them otherwise the surrounding packs and their alphas would smell her pheromones and consider her a danger.

She also shouldn't find herself in a battle with other alphas oblivious to the fact that they're attacking Soul Moon's future Luna and driving her alpha mad with rage.

And yet she cannot tell anyone that it is the Luna of their pack, many will try to use it to weaken her nephew. Even Tom doesn't know so it's best to keep it a secret until her nephew officially introduces her.

She looked at Scarlett and realized that she too seemed overwhelmed.

"This is not normal, it is too powerful...."

Elsa jumped up from her submissive position and gave Scarlett more of her blood.

" Go ahead"

Scarlett nodded before going back to intoning more incantation.

I was in the middle as little by little I felt my body breaking, I could hear the sound of my bones, how they were crushing and stretching. It was so painful I thought I was going to die, I screamed so hard before realizing it was a wolf howl. When I opened my eyes,

I had the impression that my senses were 1000 times more developed than normal, no it was not just a feeling, it was obviously the case.

The pain was slowly fading as I turned to look at Scarlett who had just passed out and the two wolves by her side who I immediately recognized as Elsa and Tom staring at me in fascination.

They lowered themselves in sign of respect and obedience while deep inside me for the last time I heard the voice of my wolf.

**We are one**

Then it evaporated and I felt as if its aura enveloped me completely. I was in my lycan form. I could feel it and when I lifted one of my limbs, definitely my front paw, I saw it with fur as white as snow. It was wonderful. Why did I feel so good? So strong so free. I had to jump and run, all the cells in my body told me to and I didn't wait before leaving the circle and heading into the forest.

Tom panicked wanting to follow Sophia but Elsa stopped him.

"But ..."

"He went to meet her."

Tom nodded, waiting for the return of this far too powerful to be normal lycan.
