Chapter 43: Chapter 43
ISAAC’S POV.
A rogue's scent was all around the room when I got there, Zaira and Black had alarmed and confused looks when I got there. I went running inside the house when I felt Aleisa's panic through the bond and then the shrill scream that followed after. Zaira and Black searched around the bathroom and then our eyes settled in on the open window, the Fxck with all these large windows. I have always hated rogues not all rogues but the ones that proved to be threats. I do not honestly get a rogues sense of decision, why choose to not be in a pack and then try to harm those that are in a pack living happily.
Packs have always been a way for our kind to remain strong and be able to avoid attacks but it's honestly disheartening to have those wolves who do not want to be in a pack or rule and would rather roam around hurting those in happy packs and harm innocent human lives which earns werewolves a bad name even though we are just a myth to humans, they still do fear what they do not understand. The fact that they are wrong doers and major troublemakers is what marks them as threats to anyone. They are disturbed due to being lone wolves.
Zaira had gone to inform the pack that the event was over when she saw my angered form and Black decided to assemble all the other warriors, I understood that they did not want to be around me when I was angry, I also would not like to be around me when I am angry but this concerned my mate and I was not only going to slit off the rogue's throat but break him and I am going to make Wyatt pay for even thinking of touching her.
I knew that only he has the guts to breach the security around my pack and send one of his little rogues to do his dirty work. Leaving him clean of any shit, just ready for the main serving. Well I was going to give him a three course meal when I rip him apart. I had only been with Aleisa for a while and I am not ready to let her go because of my stupid cousin.
I could not feel anything from her side of the bond as I walked down to where the warriors had assembled. I stood in front and looked at the warriors who were looking at me with respect and confused looks. "Sorry for gathering you at such short notice but we have to rescue the Luna." I said in my alpha voice and looked at all the wolves that now had concerned and angry looks on their faces.
Alex made his way up to where I was and offered me a small supportive smile; I nodded back at him and looked down at the wolves who were now preparing for what they did not know was waiting for them. They did not need any more clearance on what was going to happen. I took off my jacket and tie and stared at Black and Zaira as they made their way up to me already in their combat.
"We have her alpha but she refuses to say much." Said Zaira with her hands in front of her.
I led the way back to where she was being held and where we keep all the rogues and trespassers locked up. I opened the door and was immediately met with the stupid slut who had dared to betray me and help someone who threatened to harm my pack. Aleisa also never liked her and that gave me more motivation to end her pathetic little life, I was going to end her mate's life too so it does not matter if I end hers too.
"Where did he take her?" I asked her in a dangerous and calm voice.
She looked up at me with an innocent face that made me want to claw out her face. I regret the day I ever got close to her. "You have to believe me, I don't know." She replied and tried her best to muster up fake tears.
"I don't believe you." I replied simply and glared at her.
How could I believe her when she had his scent all over her and not to forget that she was his mate? She knew how much I despise the mere mention of that bastards name, he hurt my pack in so many ways that I could not even forgive even if he is my cousin. He sent those rogues years back to kill my parents so that he could become alpha and he went on to hurt other people including his own brother.
Candice was lucky that I even allowed her into my pack, she was bound to a traitor but I had reason to believe that she was loyal to her pack but she proved me wrong. How could her loyalty lie with the pack when it lied with her mate who was a Rogue? Her worst mistake was spiking my mate’s drink so that she could get to the bathroom and get kidnapped. Her mere scent irritated my nose, I would have killed her the instant I got in the small room if I did not need information on her bastard mate.
"Fine, I honestly tried my best." She shrugged and looked at me with a sick smile. "Wyatt has her in the large abandoned castle that is outside the south borders of this pack and he plans to make you feel her pain. That is all I can say." She said in a nonchalant voice.
Thank you, is what I would have said if I was grateful but I immediately dug my claws in her throat and froze her blood before tearing her apart and watching as the life seeped out of her. I hate doing this but when you dare to touch what is mine I am forced to do the unthinkable. The thought of the liquid seeping through her veins and her whole body freezing, satisfies my angry wolf to a small extent.
"Damn! That was a cold blooded murder. Literally." Voiced out Zaira at the door and looked at Black who looked bored and unfazed.
Black always had this unbothered and bored look on his face ever since his own brother killed their parents and tried to kill him too. He was always a talkative and emotional kid when we were growing up but witnessing his brother's other side and the death of his parents made him build walls. Very tall and broad walls that made him seem heartless.
I was more than glad when he found a love-hate friendship bond with Zaira. She managed to get him to expose a few of his emotions from time to time and he has healed better over the few years, better than back then when his sadistic brother ended the lives of the three high ranking families of the pack. Goddess knows how he managed to kill everyone that could stand in his way that night. But I was going to make him pay for that.
"Clean this up before you join us. I have a feeling Wyatt would love to have you there." I ordered and made my way out of the room.
I made my way to one of the trucks before Alex stopped me. "We've rounded up the place and I also reassured Aleisa's family but I don't think her brother and the beta are going to remain understanding for long." Alex said.
"Let's not give them a reason to become impatient then." I replied and got into the truck.
Wrong move, Wyatt. Wrong move.
...~~~...~~~...~~~...
I felt everything when we were driving and that only made me want to get there faster. How dare he touch her? I could feel her pain and it was seeping through from the bond, it made me want to take the pain for her but I could not and she was already going through the pain. That sadistic bastard was going to die now; every merciful bone within me had withered away when I immediately felt the excruciating pain on my back and the pain through the bond too.
Candice was stupid to even think of joining in cahoots with that sadistic asshole and that ended up in a "cold" way, I sure hope Wyatt is ready.
I got out of the car immediately when the large building came into view. He was waiting for me and that is why he did not even bother to put a bit of distance between the pack and his hideout. He wanted to pull me in but I was done playing his games and it is time to make him pay for all his stupid actions. I strode down towards the large doors of a building that looks alike to a mini castle.
The heavy scent of Wyatt’s scent wafted up my nose immediately when I broke down the large door. His scent was still heavy in the halls as I search for my mate’s scent, Wyatt scent was stained with other roguish scents which made me scrunch up my nose in disgust. A rogue’s scent is not the most amazing scent that could hit your nostrils and having a lot of them in one building is torture.
After climbing up a few stairs, I finally breathed in Aleisa’s scent mixed with another males scent, that made me growl. A rogue. I suddenly felt a jolting pain in my back and shallow whimpers down the hallways. I followed the sounds and came across another door.
All I could see was red when I saw Aleisa chained and being whipped to a pulp, the first thing I did was to kill the rogue who was in the corner; his scent was the same one that was in the bathroom and the hallway too. I did not know what I was doing until I had thrown him to the other side of the room in his dead form. I turned around and looked at the woman who had a whip in her hold and was shaking inhumanly and I would have killed her if she had not lost unconsciousness and dropped to the floor with a loud thud.
I knew that she was human and her shaking form showed that she was horrified and scared when she saw me. She was probably being forced to do it but my wolf would not have it any other way, she had the whip in her hands and would have been killed if she had not lost consciousness. Wyatt was really messed up to even include a human in his stupid game just so as not to do all the dirty work himself.
He had been sending little messages and notes in the past weeks ever since I had found Aleisa but I did not think that he would do such a thing just to make me mad. I remember vividly how he had sent me a not when Aleisa had not forgiven me, saying that he had meant and talked to her. that had angered me and I had taken the decision to have her forgive me more than anything, and then more of the notes kept on coming even after I had Zaira and Black guarding her.
I broke apart the chains and held on to Aleisa until she winced.
When Alex told me that Wyatt had escaped I felt like I was going to lose it but I had to lose it in front of him and not here. A lot of people would like to have their claws dug into Wyatt's throat and I knew that, Zaira wanted so much to plunge a knife in his heart for so long to avenge her mother's death and so did Black and I. I had a feeling the sadistic asshole is going to pay for all the shit he has done in his lifetime.
