Jessie's POV

"I'm sorry I was not able to prepare anything," I told her as I show the house to her. I have no choice but to use the crutches.

"No, don't worry about it. Actually, it's my fault for coming over without any notice." she shyly admitted. "It was supposed to be a surprise."

"Owwww."

I smiled as he cheekily winked at me.

Oh, God. Can I have a girl crush?

After barely talking with her for merely five minutes, I can now see why Josh oppa fell for her. She's such a sweetheart.

"You should have seen how Josh oppa nagged at Jake asking him to call you. He thought he did something wrong." I told her. We're now both sitting on the cushion in the living room.

"That's just how he is." she chuckled.

"Ahhm, Jessie, do you mind if I ask you something?" she said a little hesitant. I can see her fiddling with the hem of her white dress.

I felt a little nervous. This isn't about what Jake said earlier right? About Rome telling her that Josh oppa tried to flirt with me?

With that in mind, I started rambling in panic. "Unnie, Josh oppa don't like me," I said a little too fast.

I was caught off-guard when she suddenly laughed.

"No silly. Don't worry. I trust Josh enough. But that doesn't mean that I don't trust you okay?" she said still smiling.

God, she's such an angel.

My heart ached a little.

So that's why Yohan has a crush on her. I mean, who wouldn't? She's beautiful. She's kind. She's just so perfect.

"Ahmmm, I just wanted to ask if--ahm, if the boys know who you really are?"

My mouth formed an "O" shape. So that's what she's curious about.

"What about?" I asked. I'm not sure which of the two is she referring with.

"I mean, you being Choi Jessie?" she asked.

I shyly smiled at her. "I haven't really had the chance to tell them that after all that had happened these past few days," I admitted.

"You know, it's funny how six months ago, they were basically living with me but now, it seems like I have to stay with them in the meantime."

"Why? What happened to your house?" I asked curiously.

"Oh, after they moved out, I decided to ask my mother to move in. But last month, I went back to the US to meet my friends and now it feels weird to go back home. I guess I'll just give them the house as a gift so I'd probably just go and rent a new one or whatever. I'll talk about it with Jake."

"Unnie, you know you can always stay with them right?"

Based on what I've heard earlier; I think that the boys had been used to her so I'm not seeing any problem why she can't live with them.

"I don't know, after what happened, I think it is still better for me to have a place on my own. Plus, even though a lot of their fans have been supportive of our relationship, there are still tons in which doesn't. I don't want Josh to feel burdened again."

Wow. How can she just think about other people instead of her happiness?

And then she suddenly started laughing on her own as if she thought of a personal joke.

"Why?" I curiously asked.

"You see, hahaha," she was already doubling with laughter and can barely continue. "I'm sorry, one sec." After she had calmed herself, she continued. "The boys are a little aloof to stay with me now. They have some issues with my weird habits. I think I might have scared them a little."

I just nodded though I was still a little confused.

"Anyway, make sure to be careful. After some obsessive fans invaded their dorm, this house is like a haven for them. Make sure people don't know that you're staying with them. You know, some people think weirdly."

"I know. Thanks, unnie." I genuinely smiled. I feel like I found a sister.

And then her eyes landed on the piano on the corner.

"Jessie, I know it's a little personal but, what I really what to know is if the boys know..."

"What exactly is it unnie?"

And then I followed what she's looking at.

I choked on my saliva. How did she know that?

She shyly smiled at my reaction.

"I actually worked for your father that's why I know."

"But not a lot of people knew about that. I mean, me being Choi Jessie probably but that, I think, just a few people knew about it."

She rubbed the tip of her palms and looked at me. "I was actually one of those few people. But don't worry, I don't intend to tell others about it. I didn't even mention it to Josh nor my brother."

I nodded, glad that I still have someone that I can trust.

"Aren't you hungry?" My eyes snapped back to her direction.

Come to think of it, I suddenly heard my stomach grumble.

"Let's eat out? I mean, the guys would probably be home later than the usual. I think I heard that their new song has already been chosen." she smiled at me meaningfully. My cheeks went beet red.

"Let me just go ahead and change. And let's get your luggage inside my room by the way."

I went inside my room and I had to change really quick with a pair of denim shorts and a black hooded sweater.

Once I was satisfied with how I look, I went straight to the living room and saw Samantha playing on her phone.

"Let's go?" I asked her.

Once her eyes landed on me, she immediately scanned my outfit and I swear I saw her smile playfully.

"You know what, I feel like you and Yohan are compatible. I mean, you wear the same type of clothes, and your aura, it's basically screaming Yohan!"

Again, my cheeks went crimson red.

"No. Please don't say that especially if he's around. He might get upset." I shyly informed her.

"Tssss. Yohan won't be upset. Josh was telling me things okay. I feel like Yohan actually likes you." she told me before she stood up and clutch her arms around me.

What? Did she actually say Yohan likes me?

Fuck. My heart started beating faster.

I'm screwed.
