Chapter 27: Chapter 27

If you want to be a villain, you have to make sure that you're smart. Victor Mendez is not one of them, he's sure is dumb. Once he knew that Leah was still alive, he immediately kidnapped her ready to kill her.

Not on my watch.

He messed with ILLICIT in the first place and I'll teach him a lesson. I have my teams ready tailing behind me and I'm the one who led them. We already tracked the car because I did put a hidden tracker on Leah. After the surgery finished, I attacked a small tracker under her bandage. I knew something will go wrong.

"Mr. Alessandro." I got a call from the head of the team.

"What's wrong?"

"Mr. Nielsen is right behind you." She said.

"Let him be." I said and I stepped on the gas. I sped up to the suburban area of London. I guess he got a secret place here. I stopped my car miles away from that place, the head of security gave me the coordinate of the place. I got out from the car and grabbed my gun out from the back of the car.

I gestured all of them to stay behind and I walked towards it alone making sure that there's no trap or other things. I walked towards their place and I'm guessing around 40 to 50 guards ready outside.

I gestured my team to follow me and grabbed one of their grenades. I threw it over the gate and immediately it blew out. I went in right away and started shooting. The helicopter above helped us too.

These men are stupid as hell.

I walked into the building easily and I shot the guards easily. I opened the door one by one trying to find where Leah is. I bet Victor and his dumb friends are here too.

"You fucking bastard!" Before I could even open another door, Adrian threw a punch at me. I pointed my gun at him and he looked at me angrily.

"You're using her as a fucking bait!" He hissed.

"Don't let me kill you too, you motherfucker!" I said looking at him completely serious with my words. I walked into the hallway after that and opened the biggest door in that hallway.

Guess what?

Leah was there with Victor and 3 other men. Victor got his gun to Leah's head and I chuckled when I saw them.

"Victor Mendez, Paulo Mercedes, Franklin Mendez and Ed Martinez." I laughed when I saw all of them. They looked at me completely confused because they can't even identify me. Of course, I'm mostly hidden most of the time.

"Let me introduce myself." I said as I walked in like Leah's life is not on the line.

Dean is a definition of Jekyll and Hyde. He surely can switch pretty quickly and he can see the situation going on.

"Let me introduce myself." He said as he walked in like this is just a conference hall.

"I'm Dean Alessandro, the leader.. of ILLICIT." He said and I can see the four men's eyes widened. It was ready to pop out any second and they looked at each other before pointing their guns at Dean instead. Dean was pretty calm and that's why Angelo called him a psychopath.

I looked at Leah and she didn't even dare to look at me. I felt so sorry and I turned to Dean who slowly walked towards them. Dean is fucking crazy and behind me there's 20 of ready to shoot the four men.

"Why are you looking for FL-2020 detailed files? Or should I say.. T-13 files that you stole." Dean asked as he looked at them mockingly.

"He's fucking crazy."

"That's kinda childish to use a woman to be your puppet though." Dean chuckled evilly.

"Are you aware that we can kill you?" Victor hissed and Dean nodded.

"I survived death a couple of times, hell is just a rest stop for me." Dean said and I walked slowly towards them. They turned their attention at me and that's where Dean shot right to Victor's gun that was pointing at Leah. It fell to the floor and Leah immediately grabbed it shooting it straight to Victor's jewel.

At the same time, Dean easily shot the three men. They're all not death yet.

Leah got up from the ground and ran towards me. She immediately ran into my arms and I felt relieve because she made it out alive.

"Your technology sucks, Mendez. It's better for you to create something shitty than stealing ideas." Dean said as he walked slowly towards them. One of them tried to shot Dean but he immediatel shot them back.

"Stupidity must be written on your graves." Dean laughed and then he killed them all one by one. Dean turned around to me and then he pointed the gun to Leah. I immediately hid Leah behing my back.

"Dean." I warned him.

"Yes, Adrian?" Dean said as he walked towards me still with a gun pointing to me and Leah.

"They're using them, she doesn't have a choice!" I defended her and Dean shook his head.

"She had a choice, she should die. Now move away.." Dean bursted at me angrily.

"Please." I begged and I could feel Leah was trembeling behind me.

"She knows too much! Move away or I'll kill you instead!" Dean was more than mad at this point. Leah suddenly moved my body away and I stopped her.

"I'll do anything you want, please don't kill me." Leah said and Dean put down the gun smirking at her.

"You owed me 2 lives, Leah Morris. You owe me big time, you know that?" I raised my eyebrows when he said that.

"Leave London, I give you 2 weeks. Never come back here and don't even think about leaking about ILLICIT or else.. you.. and your whole family will be death instantly." Dean said as he walked closer to us. He looked at me straight into my eyes. He gestured me to take a step forward.

He threw a big punch until I was on the floor. Leah squealed in shock.

"Respect your leader, Adrian!" I closed my eyes because I could feel my ears ringing.

"Disrespect me once again, I'll finish you once and for all." Dean said and he walked past me leaving me with Leah alone.

"Mr. Nielsen." Leah helped me to get up and I sighed.

"You need a long explaining to do."
