Phoenix Sterling

"Hello." I picked it up as I saw Dean's name on the screen. I walked out from the restaurant to talk a little bit private.

"You're in Greece huh? Honeymoon?" He asked in a sarcastic tone.

"Yeah."

"I got some interesting information but.. hold on." He said and I couldn't help but wonder what his interesting information was. Dean is always like that, unexpected.

"I think your wife just touched your card." This was his idea. That our access card really act like a GPS that you put on your cheating boyfriend/girlfriend. I turned to Lana and I did put my wallet in front of her. Maybe she's just curious.

"You need to watch out." He warned.

"What information?" I asked back to the main point.

"We found several people near our headquarters in London and Paris. They've been watching us with different cars for quite some time now. I think this has to do with the situation that you're going through."

"My situation?" I completely do not understand it.

"You'll figure it out but double the guards. You'll never know, just in case." He said and ended the call. I looked at my phone disbelief. I walked back to the restaurant and saw Lana was busy with her phone. I took my wallet and put it into my pants pocket.

"Let me ask you one thing. Are you still trying to find out more about Julie?" I said and she sighed.

"I have to know, Phoenix. I can't let it go that easily, it started because of my products." I completely understand her perspective but I don't think her going deep into this will solve the problem. I felt something is going to happen and I don't want her go get involve.

We ended up enjoying our trip in Greece and go back to Paris the next day. I was busy trying to think of a plan for this situation as I doubled the guards for me and Lana. I got a team to look out for her when I'm not around.

I'm capable to take care of myself because I did learn a lot of basic military skills. I was going to join the military back then but I ended up not because I met the person who helped me to become who I am right now.

As I was walking into the office, I saw Julie standing near the lift. When she saw me, she smiled and walked towards me.

"Mr. Sterling, people were asking why didn't you come to the exhibition yesterday." She asked as we both walked to the lift.

"I was busy with something else." I answered without looking at her. "Why?" I turned to her and she shook her head.

"Nothing because usually you are always present in that exhibition." She said as we both walked into the lift. I pressed my office floor and she pressed hers.

"Did Finn go there?" I asked.

"He did and he was looking for you too." The lift stopped at her floor and she gave me a nod before walking out. I pressed the open button and looked straight to her eyes.

"We might be friends because of your relationship with Finn but.. don't get comfy talking to me. I'm still your boss so.. you should know your place." I said and her face changed right in a split second. I closed the lift door not caring about her reaction.

The lift went up to my office and my secretary greeted me right away when the lift door opened. She gave me details about my schedule and my phone rang. I told my secretary to leave me as I walked into my office. I took out my phone and it's Lana.

"You already mi-"

"Phoenix." My eyes widen when I heard her crying.

"What happen?" My alert went up immediately. I grabbed my car key and I walked out from my office that second.

"My father.. he's dead." Shit! I quickly pressed the lift button.

"Where are you?" I asked trying not to panic because she might be danger right now.

"I'm on my way to the hospital."

"You're driving?" I asked as I got into the lift.

"I'm in a taxi." She said and I can feel my phone vibrating.

"Text me the hospital and I'll be right there." I said and she ended the call. I got a message from my team who's watching over Lana. They're currently following her to the hospital.

I went to the parking lot and got into my car. I drove out from my office building and got a text from her which hospital she's going. I sped up towards it when I got a call from Dean. I answered it and it connected to the bluetooth speaker.

"I know what happen, don't go there." He said.

"Lana's there, Dean." I said not liking his order at all.

"You never reveal your relationship to the public and some people are watching her right now."

"I got my security team watching over her." I said knowing it might be my team.

"I don't think your security team uses white jeeps." My whole body went numb hearing it.

"Who are they?" I asked him and suddenly the car beside me tried to lead me out from the main road.

"Dean!" I hissed knowing that his team was trying to get me out of track.

"I'll wait for you in the headquarter." He said and the car beside me crashed my car to the side of the road. I cursed under my breath when 3 cars blocked my way from going towards the hospital. I got out of my car pissed.

"Mr. Sterling, we'll take you to the headquarters now." One of the guards said. Suddenly two of them brought me to their car and one of them got into my car.

"Are you fucking kidding me?!" I hissed and I dialed Dean's number but he didn't answer. I tried to fight but they outnumbered me. I got into the car and they brought me to the headquarter like I'm a prisoner. On my way to the headquarter, I dialed Adrian's number.

"I need your help." I said as soon as he picked up.

Adrian Nielsen

"You can't do this." I said to Dean as he ended the call with Phoenix. Dean got the news that Alester Castroff dead pretty quickly and he immediately knew that Phoenix will know about it through Lana.

"Lana needs him and this is not the right time for you to pull him here." I got up from my seat and Dean ignored me. I couldn't say anything at this point because Dean is pretty much stubborn.

Dean doesn't want to lose Phoenix just because he's starting to get whipped. He knew Phoenix needs someone like Lana but he decided to do the opposite. I got out from the main room to walk out waiting for Dean's team to bring Phoenix here.

My phone rang and it's Phoenix. "I need your help." He said the second I picked up the phone. I found myself looking at the building knowing that Dean might be watching me.

"I'm at the headquarter too." I said, sighing.

"Lana needs me, Adrian. She can't go through this alone!" Phoenix screamed through the phone and I completely understood him.

"Please.." He begged and I ended the call. I got into my car and drove out from the headquarters. Immediately, I have 3 cars following me. Dean, you're such a dickhead in this situation.

I sped up my car and after 15 minutes driving with 3 cars following me. I found 3 identical cars from the opposite direction and I knew Phoenix's in there. My plan was to crash my car towards them but my eyes widened when I saw them driving towards me instead.

"Are you shitting me?!" I hissed as I sped up my car not caring if we will collide. I dialed Phoenix's number in this situation.

"You need to get the fuck out from that car!" I said. When I was about to crash the car, they stopped. I found myself stepping on the brake so hard. We still crashed but the impact wasn't that strong.

I saw Phoenix got out from the car with 5 guards running towards him. I saw 10 guards coming out from the cars behind me. What kind of shit show is this? I got out from the car and Phoenix ran towards me.

"Take the car and go." I said and he nodded. He got into my car and the guards started to shoot my car. Phoenix drove away quickly but 2 out of the 6 cars followed him.

"Your Highness, we have to take you to the headquarters immediately." One of them came to me and I looked around to see civilians stopping to see this crazy scene. I got into their car and they quickly got me out of there.

Dean will take care of everything anyway even though I might end up dead in his hands.

"We're going to the headquarters now with Mr. Nielsen." They reported to Dean and I sighed. I turned to the guard who sat beside me. "How many did he send his team?" I asked.

"I'm sorry, Your Highness, but we can't tell you." He answered and I facepalmed myself. My phone rang and it's Chance. I rejected the call because I know he and Dean are two peas in a pod.

Why am I a part of the ILLICIT again?

I got a message from Chance saying that I should call him or else I'll be a dead meat. I decided to call him back.

"You're dead once you're back." That's the first sentence that he said and I rolled my eyes.

"I'm not heartless, Chance." I hissed coldly.

"No one knows about their relationship and this is one of their ways to lure Phoenix there. Are you dumb or what?" He asked in an angry tone.

"She needs him and do you think she can handle this alone?"

"I rather have her dead than Phoenix, so.. I really don't care about her existence." He and Dean might be twins in their previous life.

"Who's behind this?" I asked to the point.

"You know who and Phoenix might know about it by now. I'll see you at the headquarter." He ended the call and I'm 10 minutes away from the headquarter.

"Should I write.. a long letter to my parents?" I asked loudly to the four guards in the car. They looked at me confuse and I sighed.

"Your crazy boss might kill me when we get back.. do you mind typing my last letter to my parents?" I asked and the innocent guard on my right took out his phone ready to type whatever I say.

My eyes widened when I saw the headquarters gates opened widely. They never opened it like that and suddenly the guards inside my car got an alert. Instead of driving towards the headquarters, they did a U-turn.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Some intruders went in, Your Highness. We'll bring you to safety first." My phone rang and I picked it up. "A jet is ready for you, go to London." Dean simply said and he ended the call. I tried to call him back again but he didn't answer.

I called Chance and he didn't answer it either. How can the two of them be in Paris today? That I think about it, why would they be here unless they know more.

Phoenix Sterling

I sped up towards the hospital even though I have 2 cars following me. I really need to see Lana, I can't leave her alone. I don't really care if Dean will kill me once everything is done but I need to make sure that Lana is fine.

I tried to call my team for an update but none of them answered. What happened exactly?

As soon as I arrived at the hospital, I stopped the car at the lobby and got out from the car. I ran in and asked the nurse for Alester's information. They led me towards the emergency room and tried to find Lana in the process.

As soon as I got into the emergency room, it was a full shit show. I tried to find Lana first, I need to make sure that she's okay.

"Lana!" I called her name as I looked around but she's nowhere to be found.

"I want to find Alester Castroff." I said as I stopped a nurse.

"I'm sorry, I don't know." She said and I let her go. My phone rang and it's Lana. I picked it up right away.

"Where are-"

"She's here with me." It was none other than Finn Ancelet himself.
