Chapter 77: Chapter 77
Hayfah looked at them before she shyly took Mysha and started feeding her. She finished and handed her back to Mom and just sat there, unabashedly staring at her Mama; with lips parted to a fully etched smile.
Maami excused herself, knowing they surely need to have a talk. She walked out of the room and an eerily silence hugged the walls of the room. Mom looked at Mama and hugged her again. She took her hand and smiled with tears.
"What happened to you? Talhah told us you died from a car accident. And that was the end of everything." Mom cried and hugged her again.
Mama smiled and felt as the doors she locked for years in her heart were being opened slowly. She choose to forget about Talhah forever, but how could she, when she has a daughter she could never stop thinking about?
"Come here; Hayfah," she extended her hand with a drained voice and took Hayfah's hands in hers.
"Neema am, I believe Hayfah have told you the story of her life; but she might not have told you her mother's story. After you left to Ghana..." she told her everything, without omitting a single happening in her life; which amazed Hayfah and Adyan. Everything was exactly the same as Abba told them, each line, each day, and each event. She truly was shattered beyond repair.
When she finished, both her; Mom and Hayfah were crying with shoulders trembling with pain. Hayfah took Mama's hand and felt more tears rolling down her cheeks.
"He told me to ask your forgiveness whenever I met you. Be it in dream or reality. I know my Abba doesn't deserve your forgiveness, but would you find a place in your heart to forgive him? He had enough before he died!" Hayfah cried, how she wished her Abba was alive, so she could help him in asking for Mama's forgiveness. Would she forgive him?
"Hayfah. You need not to cry okay? Do you want to hear about my life experience after that day? Now stop your tears and listen well. You'll smile joyfully my dear!" And she kissed her forehead, leaving the topic of her Abba unanswered.
Hayfah nodded her head and placed her head on Mama's shoulder, she closed her eyes to have an image of the story Mama is going to tell them.
Mama looked at Neema that was staring at them with tearing eyes and smiled. The kind of smile an innocent 13years old Ruru does, and Neema's heart swayed with love.
"After Talhah locked the door of his house on my face. I slumped down in front of the door and cried my eyes out. I could hear Hayfah's cries until they slowly faded into a thin air. And I knew; sitting there on the ground wouldn't save me from what life has in store for me.
I began to question my existence. What more of life do I have to live? What's the use of my life when the man I've loved hates no one but me. The daughter I lived for is now far away my reach. And the word 'death' hits the door of my heart, it knocked and was invited in. So I walked to the road without hesitation.
And I felt, as a truck smashed through me and I bounced back onto the road without a life in me. I thought it was the end, because I exhaled my last breath with a tear slipping down onto the road. After what seemed like forever, I began to feel voices under hypnosis, and I foolishly thought they were the angels of death.
Even thinking I was dead; the first thought that crossed my heart was Talhah and Hayfah, and I cried_from those tears I knew I wasn't dead, I'm alive. For a month, I was in a coma, until on a lucky Friday my hands started moving, and I fought my way back to reality. The world of pain.
The man that got into an accident with me was Mustapha. He's an elder brother to Hajia Aisha-Maami- I asked, and they told me we are in Sokoto! That was kilometers away from Zaria. Though being divorced, I couldn't help thinking for a way out for me and Talhah, so I could get my daughter back.
I lived with their parents for a year and half, and none of them asked for my story until I was emotionally ready and I told them the story of my life. They embraced me more, and I got to know that there are loving creatures of Allah out there.
We decided to get married with Mustapha after my four years of stay with his parents. He's the nicest man I could ever pray for in my life; and even after those four years, a day couldn't pass when I don't think of Hayfah and Neema; because I believe Neema has the power to bring her back to me.
We got married and left for port harcourt where he got a work. And I didn't gave birth until the seventh year of our marriage. I had a baby girl!" She looked excited! For the first time she was talking about her second child and smiled genuinely.
They all snapped their heads up, Hayfah included. So she has sibling she could proudly call her sibling? The one that could never look at her with so much hatred that could rip off her heart? The one that has nothing towards her but love? She really does have a sibling!
Mama chuckled softly and patted Hayfah's head. "Yes. I gave birth to a baby girl and Mustapha named her Rayhan! From the day I gave birth to her, I started having some flashbacks of my life in Talhah's house, and the daughter I left bereft. I was always crying whenever I saw Rayhan, because she reminds me of Hayfah, and the doctors said it waa hazardous to my health.
We came back to Sokoto and tol Mustapha's parents about the problem, and that the doctors said I might be having brain disorders if she's not taken far from me. That's how Aisha took Rayhan from me before I even weaned her, and I was back to normal as though nothing happened.
Talking about the present life I'm in; we're living in Germany with my five years old boy; Aliyu. Even before I know you, Aisha always talk to me about you, whatever happened in your life; but I never know it was you. She forced Mustapha to let me come back to Nigeria so I could get to see her second granddaughter, not knowing it was the time Allah destined for us to meet. Alhamdulillah!"
Hayfah could feel how her veins were squeezing on themselves and loosening. How the gushing of blood from every angle of her body was increasing its pace. She couldn't believe Rayhan is her half sister! That explains the love! The affection! The bond! And everything! And little brother Aliy! She couldn't wait to see him! Alhamdulillah!
Mama laughed at how bewildered and happy they all are. She raised her hands up in surrender and stood up, carefully lifting Hayfah as well. "It's getting late, we haven't even prayed Magrib not to talk of Isha. We shall pray, eat and sleep_I have alot questions to ask as well. How my baby married my favorite nephew!" And she pinched Adyan's nose, she acts like Hayfah, only the voice!
"Let's go to my room!" Mom and Hayfah spoke together, they looked at eachother and burst into laughter.
"She's going to my room. I'm her sister, she knew me first, and loved me since she was born. Don't be a clingy daughter nah, go to your husband!" Mom jokingly said and pushed Hayfah to Adyan and he held her firmly with his arms so she couldn't fall.
"Mom! But she needs to spend much time with Mysha, pleaseeee!" Hayfah whined and pouted her lips.
"She'll see her starting from now till forever. Ruru am let's go, you are tired from talking and crying." Mom slowly dragged a gratuitously smiling Mama that has her eyes roaming from Mom to Hayfah then a grinning Adyan, he was used to them arguing over a slight thing.
Hayfah smiled and heaved a sigh as they walked out of their sight. She slumped down on the bed and let out a squeal! Adyan came to her and chuckled, with made her to look at him and her grin grew wider.
She abruptly hugged him and kissed his lips! "So Hayatee, we're cousins right? Your Mom is my Mother's Neema, and my Mama is your Mom's Ruru am! They have the same blood running in their veins, while we have a mixture, but still same! I'm loving you more!" She has never been this ecstatic in her life, nit even when she knew that Adyan is the man she married not Jibril! Allah is truly the almighty.
"Rania, you owe me a long memorable kiss for this! Alhamdulillah!" And he merged their lips together in a sync that was meant to be memorable to them forever. And surely, it was memorable.

Adyan was in the bathroom taking his bath when the landline rang. No one calls from it unless it's the maids or guards of the house. Hayfah hesitated before she picked the call; carefully placing it on her left ear.
"I'm sorry for disturbing you sir, but a woman is here for Madam Hayfah; she says she's in a hurry and would love it if Madam just come out and they greet outside." Stephen, the guard that has duty today spoke professionally.
Hayfah was stilled. Who's this woman that wants to see her but couldn't come inside the house? This sounds absurd. She doesn't have friends in Abuja to start with. But a thought crossed her mind, may be it's Fareeha that wants to surprise her! Or Muntasra and her late night outings.
"Tell her I'll be out now." And she placed back the phone and stood up. She stretched her gown and took her long hijab from the closet. Hayfah was halfway to the day when Mysha squirmed, she walked back and scooped her into her arms.
She knocked on the bathroom's door "Hayatee, I'll be out to see a woman that comes to see me and she's in a hurry. I'll be right back." And she walked out of the room with a smile, hoping to see Fareeha or even Muntasra.
She sees nobody as she passed through the corridors and parlors of the house and she was safely out. She turned around, the wind was breezy and that makes her hide her Mysha into her bosom.
"Weldone Madam! How's the baby!" Stephen greeted as he opened the door for her.
"She's fine, Stephen, I'll be back now." And out she was, looking at the car that was a little far away from the gate. Fareeha or Muntasra are so much, and she's not out with her phone; she would've called them to drive back.
She let out an air from her mouth and walked over the car. She knocked on the passengers seat and the window was slide down, and a strange face appears; before she could move_something was sprayed on her face and she lost all the senses she has.

Adyan was out and he got agitated, it was over thirty minutes and Hayfah was still not back from the friend she said has came. He called her phone and it rang in there room! Hell no, something is definitely off!
He went out and asked Stephen and he assured him that she went out. They checked for over a kilometer from the house and no car was sighted and there was no sign of Hayfah and Mysha.
Adyan ran back to the house and knocked on Mom's door. She opened and he walked inside the room with heart pounding like a yam being pounded into a mortal.
Mom and Mama kept asking him but he was unable to answer any of them. His phone rang, and he hesitated before picking up the call.
"Don't be devastated lover boy. Your Rania and Mysha are safely with us. Do you know what the ransom is? Divorce her and she will be safe!"
