This is at most a 5/5 and at least a 4.5/5It's one of the few Chinese novels without any huge Chinese elements/remaking or whatever the word is. It stays true to the material that it uses. Plus it seems like the Author greatly cares for this. Yes there are some minor and probably major (depending on your view) inconsistencies like the MC not using a card that (If I remember correctly from the comments) counters an opposing card. And quite obviously the Players interactions with the MC.Tldr; REALLY FUCKING GOODjust has some stuff here and there that you may not enjoy. Definitely give it a read if you have time. Is there any mtl page of this novel that is a good translation? not really, I found it in MTLNovel long time ago and still found many fault especially in name and when using he/she. 1600+ chapters in the original, 97 translated!! Wtf this going to be long. According to the reviews on NU this is quite good and actually feels like reading Yu-gi-oh so I'll have a look for us. Can you explain Pretty much what I said. Duels are well thought out, yu-gi-oh world is more fleshed out, it's pretty interesting. The canon characters don't veer off of what they would seem like if you've watched the anime, read the manga etc.You don't need to know much of anything about Yu-Gi-Oh to enjoy this one. Definitely would recommend giving it a shot.So even if you don't know anything other than Yu-Gi-Oh being a card game or are a hard core fan of the franchise, its enjoyable either way.
