Evelyn was stunned, she looked down, holding back her tears. It's really not easy for him. The image of Malvin, who was always present, became his nightmare.

Evelyn smiled and rubbed Malvin's hand which was curled around her stomach.

"I miss you, too." It is undeniable that Evelyn also missed Malvin, and even missed him very much.

"Are you tired? I'll prepare warm water for you." Evelyn walked to the bathroom.

Evelyn waited for Malvin in the living room watching television. Evelyn's apartment was not that big. There is only one room, one kitchen and a living room which doubles as a tv room.

Evelyn enjoyed her happiness with Malvin just by watching tv and joking as if it had been a long time since they felt this kind of happiness.

"Aren't you coming back to your house?"

"I'll stay over," replied Malvin.

"I'm afraid your parents are looking for you."

"I don't care, they only have their own interests in mind," replied Malvin sarcastically.

"They're your parents, Malvin, your family."

"I said I'll stay over."

Evelyn exhaled, she knew very well that Malvin would stick to his point. Forcing Malvin to come home was tantamount to upsetting him.

"Do you want to go out tomorrow?" asked Malvin.

Evelyn leaned her head against Malvin's chest. "You have to work."

"I'm going off."

"I know you have too many holidays."

"I miss you, I want us to pay for a little time wasted when we weren't together."

Malvin gently stroked Evelyn's hair. The woman tightened her embrace even more. Then Malvin kissed the top of Evelyn's head.

"I'm tired, I want to sleep," said Evelyn.

Malvin carried Evelyn to her room, lay her down, and then he lay down next to Evelyn too.

"Go to sleep, I'll hug you," said Malvin.

Not without passion, but Malvin felt really missed the woman in his arms. He just wanted to be like this, always holding tight and hugging each other. Feeling Evelyn's heartbeat soothing and rhythmic.

"I want us to always be like this ... Promise you will always be near me, Ve."

Gradually, Malvin's breathing became more regular, his chest rising and falling slowly indicating he was asleep. Evelyn looked up at the face of Malvin, the man she loved so much even after his betrayal.

Evelyn's hand reached out to gently stroke Malvin's cheek, which was covered with fine hair from shaving. Evelyn felt the handsome face, touched her eyebrows, eyes, nose down to Malvin's lips and chin. Evelyn briefly kissed Malvin on the lips.

"good night, I love you," whispered Evelyn.

Not long after that, Evelyn fell asleep in Malvin's arms.

In the morning Evelyn had finished cooking Malvin's favorite food when he woke up.

"Good morning, Dear, you wake up very early." Malvin kissed Evelyn on the cheek gently.

"Good morning, I'm too excited," Evelyn replied with a chuckle.

"Where are you going? "Malvin sat on the kitchen chair.

"I want to take you for a walk, you better take a shower first."

"Okay." Malvin got up from his seat and walked toward the bathroom.

Thirty minutes passed, Malvin had just finished his bath.

"Let's go to my apartment first, I'll change my clothes."

"Yes, are you ready? Come on, let's have breakfast in your apartment." Evelyn showed the food cart in her hand. Then they run toward the car park.

Malvin drove slowly, his left hand holding Evelyn's hand as if he didn't want that hand to come off again.

Arriving at Malvin's apartment, he immediately changed his clothes while Evelyn prepared their breakfast.

"Where do you want to go ?" asked Malvin after finishing their breakfast.

"I want to shop and then we go to the beach."

"Okay okay, let's go!"

Malvin and Evelyn walked hand in hand, laughter never fading from their lips. It felt like they were much happier than before. Malvin realized that after his breakup, he couldn't do without Evelyn.

As for Evelyn, she was very used to being alone despite the pain she felt.

Evelyn bought some clothes and shoes. When about to exit the mall, Malvin stopped when he saw a jewelry store.

“Are you going to buy jewelry?” asked Evelyn when Malvin pulled her into the shop.

"I'll buy one for you."

Evelyn was unable to refuse when Malvin took one of the necklaces that were shown by a salesgirl.

"This is one of the best and limited edition models." said the woman who showed Malvin the necklace.

"I think I'll just choose this." Malvin chose a simple star-shaped necklace with one diamond eye in it.

"It will be even prettier when you wear it."

Evelyn touched the necklace that had been wrapped around her neck.

"Thank you." Evelyn gave Malvin a brief hug.

After paying the bill for the necklace they bought, they continued their vacation plans for the day, namely to the beach.

Evelyn walked along the beach barefoot, Malvin hand in hand beside Evelyn still holding Evelyn's hand.

"I'll take your picture, pose," said Malvin.

They took several pictures of the two of them. then Malvin uploaded a photo of Evelyn to his social media.

Evelyn smiled reading it. After that, they sat on the sand of the beach looking at the slowly setting sun.

Malvin kissed the top of Evelyn's head slowly. brushed her hair and continued to hold her hand, letting Evelyn sit against her chest.

"I want us to continue like this, carving out unforgettable memories," said Malvin.

"I want you to be the mother of my children, we will raise our little family." malvin said solemnly.

Evelyn looked up at Malvin who was also staring at him. Evelyn briefly kissed Malvin on the lips.

"We will make it happen."

Malvin took Evelyn's hand and kissed the back of her hand.

"Thank you." Malvin's smile broadened.

The sun had completely set, alternating with tiny stars scattered along the way the eye could see. The night was bright as their hearts.

Malvin and Evelyn returned to Malvin's apartment, they planned to sleep there. Malvin cleaned his body first while Evelyn cleaned her groceries.

They spent evenings enjoying views of the stars and the city that collided through the balcony terrace of Malvin's apartment.

Malvin pulled Evelyn up to sit on his lap. He grabbed Evelyn's neck and kissed her lips. The moment he missed. Before the discovery of Malvin's betrayal, they had almost always spent their time sitting on the balcony terrace enjoying the city view, hugging each other.
